[I.INTRODUCTION]_______________________________________________________
Version: 4.3-----------------------------------------------------------
_______________________________________________________________________
*-The following information found in this guide is mostly based on my
experience in playing in pRO (Philippines) version of Ragnarok Online,
playing in private servers (ya, I know it's illegall and all..)
and reading other FAQs/guides on gamefaqs and some of my theories &
observations.
This guide is accurate in stats build but not in the skill builds
due to the changes that may occur in the not so near future.
My goal is to provide you some ideas on skill builds and stats build
for the diffrent 2-2 jobs.
_______________________________________________________________________

This maybe the last update. I'll be working on a new guide
for non-melee type jobs. I'm very sorry that I can't make
a guide for those who want to be a Alchemist.
Because the skill list I got isn't complete and I can't just guess
the skill effects. but I have a hunch that the stats build for
Alchemist is very similar to that of a Forge smith.
Ver. 2.5- November 20, 2003 (11.20.03)
Thanks Cuek! You help me make my guide much more better!!!
Thanks for your suggestions!!!
In this version, updated all the stats build thanks to the

Well.. I think most of you guys really like the monk
class. Even me, myself and I like the class so much but
due to those hard time leveling I lost my hope to build my own monk.

* E-Mail/Contacts Policy -
*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Why'd I suddenly summon a E-Mail/Contacts Policy section? Simply to
categorize every mail that I've been receiving from those that are possibly
either a Virus or something bad. I would suggest you follow the following
things below so as to quickly get a reply off the day or two after you
mailed me. Yes! I'm that quick on replying mails as I don't want my Inbox
to be so filled and to make my browser go faster when checking things out.
Anyway here are the list of Do's and Don'ts doing something that is on
either the Do's/Don'ts list will seriously affect the odds of you getting
a reply so I suggest you follow them as simple rules are applied.
*- E-Mails -*
Do’s and Don’ts
---------------
1. Only send me questions that can't be found on my guide. I will be more
happy to help you in this case.
2. Try to be specific in defining something or when stating what had
happened.
So I won't be e-mailing you back for some questions that'll simply consume
our precious time.
3. I won't be accepting or be opening any mails that has attachments.
4. Check the latest version of the guide before sending in any questions,
chances are that your question might be answered in the newest version of
the guide.
5. If I happen to not reply after three or so days than e-mail me again
nicely and I'll reply ASAP.
6. You must label your mail with the game title whether a submission or a
question (E.I. FFX-2 or just FFX-2
for questions or inquiries).
7. Don't be persistent, don't e-mail me the very same question that I've
already answered.
8. Don't send me nonsense e-mails like "How much is..." "Can you buy me
this?"
9. Be nice! Don't use bad words in your mail.
10. No Chain Mails!
Doing anything that isn't allowed will automatically make your address be
blocked from any future mail you might possibly send.

-------[ IV. Pre Alt 2nd job Skill & Stats Build ]------------------------
__________________________________________________________________________
4.1/\[Introduction to the stats system]/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/
You can view your stat window my clicking on the button, or pressing ALT+A.
The number next to the stat is your current amount,
and the number to the right of the arrow is how many status points
needed to raise it by 1.
The stats are the following...
STR (Strength)
This stat determines how hard you hit.
Each point will give you 1 extra ATK.
The bonuses are as follows:
AGI (Agility)
This stat increases how often you will dodge an enemy attack, by increasing
Flee by 1. It will also increase your attack speed.
There are no bonuses for this stat.
VIT (Vitality)
Each point in this stat increases your Defense by 1, which means you take 1
point less damage from every attack. It will also increase your maximum HP,
and your HP recovery speed. There are no bonuses for this stat.
INT (Intelligence)
This stat increases your Magic Attack, which is how powerful your spells are.
Each point in this stat also increases your Magic Defense by 1, but since no
enemies use magic yet, that is useless. It also increases your SP recovery
time, and maximum SP. Every 5 points in INT, you receive a maximum damage
boost, and for every 7 points, you receive a minimum damage boost. So you
would receive a max boost at values like 5, 10, and 15, and a min boost at
values like 7, 14, and 21. Hopefully in the future I'll have the exact values.
DEX (Dexterity)
Each point in this stat will increase your hit by 1, which is how often you
do not miss an enemy. For Archers, this stat determines their damage, like STR
for a melee fighter. For Mages, it determines your casting rate. It will also
increase minimum damage. The bonuses are as follows:
LUK (Luck)
LUK has become a bit more useful now. In Beta 1, 100 LUK would give you a 10%
chance to critical, however, now you get 3 criticals per 10 LUK - hence, a 30%
chance to critical. It's really only good for an Assassin or somebody with a
lot of Soldier Skeleton/Caramel Cards to really get high percentages.
All the following stats are those you cannot increase directly.
ATK (Attack)
This is your physical attack with a weapon. The first number is the attack of
your weapon, plus your STR. The second number is how much ATK your upgraded
weapon adds, which ignores DEF.
MATK (Magic Attack)
This is the attack of your magic. This will only be useful to Acolytes and
Mages. The 2 numbers are the range of your Magic Damage. This is effected
by INT and Wands, as they increase the attack by 15%. This stat is
counteracted by MDEF.
Hit
This number is a representation of how often you hit an enemy. It increases 1
point every level, and each point in DEX increases it by 1 point as well. This
is counteracted by Flee.
Critical
This number increases by 1 for every 3 LUK you have. Think of this number
as the percentage of a chance of a critical hit or Lucky dodge.
DEF (Defense)
This is your physical defense against enemies. The damage you take is the
enemies ATK minus your total defense. There are a few things to consider
though - armor works on percentages, so 10 armor will reduce all attacks in the
game by 10%. VIT works on points, so 10 VIT will reduce all damage done to you
by 10. Confused? Well, it doesn't matter, DEF is a good thing to have.
MDEF (Magic Defense)
This is your defense against magical attacks.
magical defense of all your armor, while the second is your INT.
Flee
This number is a representation of how often you dodge an enemy. It increases 1
point every level, and each point in AGI increases it by 1 point as well. Your
flee drops greatly between enemies as they attack you, as it is split amongst
them. This is counteracted by Hit.
ASPD (Attack Speed)
This is your attack speed, which has finally been enabled. 200 is the fastest
attack speed, 100 the slowest.
Swordies are the vanguard of parties and guilds.
They can take the punishing blows of every attack.
Because of their massive VITALITY which raises their defense
(VIT + sum of armor defense) and I believe there is such thing
in Ragnarok as RDM or reduce damage which can be seen
in low damages inflicted on knights/swordies. Also swordies have
easy time leveling.
If you want more In-Depth FAQS/Guides about Swordies you better check
Psycho Battousai's Swordsman/Knight Guide FAQ and
JBKMDX's The Real Swordsman/Knight FAQ about Swordies and Knights.
My Swordie Guide here is just a quick look at swordie skills and stats.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOTE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I DO NOT REQUIRE/RECOMMEND YOU TO FOLLOW THE STATS DISTRIBUTION.
EVEN FOR ME, I FIND FOLLOWING THOSE STATS DISTRIBUTION VERY HARD
DUE TO THE DIFFRENT FIGHTING STYLES OF EACH AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL.
I HAVE PROVIDED THIS PART AS AN OPTION. YOU CAN DISTRIBUTE THE STATS
IN ANY WAY YOU WANT. JUST BE SURE THAT END RESULT WILL BE THE SAME WITH
THE BUILD YOU DESIRE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If your aiming to be a "Just" Crusader, you can follow all the other
Swordsman/Knight Stats-build up. The other type of Crusader is what
I call the "Paladin", the paladins are known with their Holy powers
unlike the Knights and the "Just" Crusader who rely only on
brute strength.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOTE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You may also want to see Mad Monarch Gyl's Guide.
I founded that you can use his Battle Acolyte Stats build-up
for your Crusader. I will not display it here. Just please look at
his wonderful guide for Battle Acolytes, almost all of the build is
applicable to your Crusader.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[Krusada Build 1]----------------------------------------------------------
This build is almost exactly the same as the Knight's.
I recommend this build same as the other Swordie-Knight Stats Build
if you aim to be a Offensive Crusader or a Knight like Crusader.
This is a Hybrid of Vitality-Agility.
Stats Distribution:
STR to 10
DEX to 15
AGI to 18
VIT to 50
STR to 30
DEX to 30
VIT to 70
STR to 50
VIT to 93
DEX to 47
STR to 83
[Final Stats]
(Bonus based on Lv50 Job Crusader)
STR 83 +7
AGI 18 +2
VIT 93 +7
INT 1 +5
DEX 47 +3
LUK 1 +5
[Str/Agi Crusader]--------------------------------------------------------
This stat build is only for "Just" Crusaders and not recommended
for those who want to be a Paladin Crusader and support Crusaders.
Weggy's Comment ^_^
This Swordsman is designed mostly to fight in aggressive areas.
They have very high HP, and can regenerate it quick.
However, they are very boring, as you'll hack, slash, rest, rinse,
repeat, for the rest of your RO career.
The preferred build if you like dungeons.
Stats Distribution:
10 STR
15 VIT
10 DEX
30 VIT
20 DEX
20 STR
60 VIT
30 STR
70 VIT
30 DEX
40 STR
80 VIT
50 STR
90 VIT
93 STR
93 VIT
[Paladin Build]-----------------------------------------------------------
This is the BIG difference between the Knight and the Crusader
because they now need a little INT in their stats.
Dexterity is now a standard necessity of
a swordsman especially in the PVP mode (they can’t hit an Assassin).
Stats Distribution:
STR to 10
VIT to 10
DEX to 10
INT to 20
VIT to 20
INT to 30
STR to 30
DEX to 42
VIT to 93
STR to 83
[Final Stats] Ver 1.0
(Bonus based on Lv50 Job Crusader)
STR: 83 +7
AGI: 1 +2
VIT: 93 +7
INT: 30 +5
DEX: 42 +3
LUK: 1 +5
This Swordie Build up area is divided in to 2 groups, namely
Job change at Lv40 and Job change at Lv50.
But if you decided to turn into a Crusader I strongly recommend
that you follow the Job level change at Lv50.
Since Crusaders don't need much of the swordie skills because their skills
are almost independent from the swordie skill meaning they don't need some
of the skills as a pre-requisite like the Knight's, in fact they only need
Lv1 Endure for their Peco Riding Skill. So Swordie Skills only serve as
Support or Back-up skills for Crusaders. But if you follow my
Paladin Skill build I strongly recommend that you follow the
Lv50 job change especially the 1H swordie.
(NOTE: 1H swordie build is the most recommended build for a Crusader wanna be.)
Job level change at Lv40:=================================================
HP Recovery Lv.10
Bash Lv.10
1H Sword Mastery Lv.10
Magnum Break Lv.3
Provoke Lv.5
Endure Lv.1
Comment:
This one is the build for those who cannot wait. This build
has all the the basics of a 1H swordie to Knight/Crusader.
Job level change at Lv.50:================================================
Same as the Job Change at Lv.50 bit you have the opportunity to
max certain skills. This is recommended to those who will be
starting a Pre 2-2 job now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOTE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~ ~
~ ALL THE QUEST SKILLS WILL NOT REQUIRE A SKILL POINT IN ~
~ ORDER TO USE OR GAIN THAT SKILL. ONCE YOU FINISHED THE ~
~ QUEST YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY GRANTED THAT SKILL AND ~
~ IT WILL BE READY FOR USE. ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[HP Recovery]=============================================================

2 +10 HP every 10 seconds and 120% increased HP recovery through consumable items -
3 +15 HP every 10 seconds and 130% increased HP recovery through consumable items -

9 +45 HP every 10 seconds and 190% increased HP recovery through consumable items -
10 +50 HP every 10 seconds and 200% increased HP recovery through consumable items -
Comment:
The most vital passive skill of swordman.
[Moving HP Recovery]======================================================
Can be acquired after Job Lv35
Recovers some hp when walking, the amount is 25% normal HP regeneration rate.
Passive
Quest:
Acquire these items :
200 Empty Bottles
Padded Armor (Not always required)
Moth Wings
Talk to the NPC named "Knight Ditomaso".
He is in Izlude, in a house in the right most side of the town.
Talk to him and you will get the skill.
[LV] [Skill Level Effect] [SP]
1 Recovers HP while moving -
Comment:
Same as Hp reco, but more helpful bcoz of reco.
While walking Hp is recoverd very helpful
in long journeys, it sure save lots of reds and money!.
It acts as a bonus to HP reco.
Comment:
Adds additional attack bonus to your 2H sword attacks.
Pretty much worthless. Crusaders relies on shield much more.
So don't bother on getting this.. But if you insist...
[Attack Weak Point]=======================================================
Chance to Stun an enemy when using Bash
A passive skill that let you stun enemies if you use the skill "Bash" at
levels higher than 5.
The stun chance is calculated as (BashLevel - 6) * 6%.
Requirements: Job Lv35, Bash Lv6
Passive
Quest:
Acquire these items :
10 Fire Arrows
10 Silver Arrows
1 Banana Juice
30 Tentacles
5 Royal Jellies
Talk to the NPC named "Reon Phon Prisue", in the Prontera Chivary
(place to change to knight and culvert registration), a
nd he will give you the skill.
Comment:
This skill makes Bash even more deadlier and more useful.
A very important skill, A must have for swordies.
[Auto Berserk]============================================================
When you have less than 25% hp, you will cast "Provoke" on yourself.
If your HP reaches 26% or more, the skill disappear automatically.
Requirement: Job Lv35
Passive
Quest:
Acquire these items :
35 Powder of Butterfly
10 Horrendous Mouths
10 Decayed Nails
10 Honeys
Talk to the NPC Huahn, that is in the place where you upgrade weapons,
give him the 4 items and he will give you the skill.
[LV] [Skill Level Effect] [SP]
Automatically cast Provoke on yourself
1 when your HP is below 25% and it will -
stay on you until your HP is above 26%
Comment:
This one's like a hyper mode for swordies!
But this one has a big draw back, because it lowers your defense.
Comment:
Due to the other support skills that will aid Bash
such as Hit weak point, Death blow and etc. I can say that now
Bash is now a very very important skill.
Imagine One skill = multiple abilities.
[Magnum Break]============================================================
Does damage to all monsters that are around you
Comment:
very useful in mobs but one draw back is that you need a little
amount of your life together with a little SP in order to use
this skill. Be wary of using this skill, because this can also
lead to monsters mobbing on you, not recommended in PVP mode.
[Provoke]=================================================================
Causes an enemy to become aggressive and raises their attack,
but lowers their defense
Ineffective against Undead
[LV] [Skill Level Effect] [SP]
1 Enemy ATK power +2% DEF power -6% 4
2 Enemy ATK power +4% DEF power -12% 5
3 Enemy ATK power +6% DEF power -18% 6
4 Enemy ATK power +8% DEF power -24% 7
5 Enemy ATK power +10% DEF power -30% 8
6 Enemy ATK power +12% DEF power -36% 9
7 Enemy ATK power +14% DEF power -42% 10
8 Enemy ATK power +16% DEF power -48% 11
9 Enemy ATK power +18% DEF power -54% 12
10 Enemy ATK power +20% DEF power -60% 13
Comment:
This skill is very helpful not only to Swordie class but to all
types because this can also be used as a tanking medium.
helps to eliminate opponents much quicker because of it reduces
opponent's Def but making them more powerful, be very careful in using this.
[Endure]===================================================================
Removes knock back effect when hit
Comment:
This skill prevents flinching. Your primary weapon against
Archer/Hunters. Their arrows makes any character flinch but
with Endure you'll never be flinched again!
From iRO:
Trained to prepare for the holy war since childhood, he/she begins with
great powers. As opposed to other Knights, he/she has pledged to serve God.
Any hardship or pain is considered the way to God and he/she fights with
all strength even overcoming death. Never forgetting to praise God,
he/she has the humbleness to turn all his good doings towards God,
allowing them to use miraculous powers. Exceptionally good at using a shield
in battle, he/she has natural talents in defending and uses these skills at
the battlefront, avoiding crises and moving forward.
After reading King Tristan III's notice recruiting adventurers,
he/she decides to join to let the world know of the Church, and also to
gather others that would join him/her in preparing for the holy war.
My intro:
Crusaders are much like Acolytes, but the difference is that
they are more battle bred because of the various battle skills that they
have, like Spear Quicken and Shield Boomerang
(Much like two hand Quicken and Spear Boomerang.).
According to my observation of their skills,
they are the most vital part of a guild especially in guild wars.
Imagine… a Crusader with a skill of Devotion/Sacrifice which absorbs all
the damages done to your party/guild (must be on the same map) and
surrounded by priest and has a Osiris card! Even if he dies his HP
will be fully recovered and his guild mates are like gods!
They can’t die! As if you’re like fighting with a god who is immortal…
unless the crusader got warp away or silenced.
Only then and ONLY then you can defeat his guild mates if not
defeat them, inflict damage on them.
[HOW TO BE A CRUSADER]----------------------------------------------------
There are 4 parts to this job quest.
First, talk to Leader of Crusaders in Prontera Castle,
located by going north two times, and then go west 2 times inside castle.
You need to collect the following items, and bring it back.
You may get a different set of items which you must collect.
There are so far, 2 different sets and any one of them can be assigned.
[First set]
10 Nail of Deceased (Zombie)
10 Danggie (Munak)
10 Rotten Scale (Megalodon)
10 Old Prisoner's Clothing (Zombie Prisoner)
[Second set]
10 Skel Bone (Skeleton Archer / Soldier / Skeleton / Whatnots)
10 Nail of Orc (Orc Zombie)
10 Handcuff (Skel Prisoner)
10 Danggie (Munak)
When you complete 1st test, the Leader of Crusader will order you to go
to the Prontera Prison. It is located at utmost bottom of the castle,
and go to the right. You will find a NPC named 'Man in Pain'.
Make sure you are wearing a Rosary, and click on him to take the test.
You must go through this test by using Endure and Red Potions
and not hitting the monsters.
You can take this test by going to Prontera Grand Cathedral,
and talk to the Cathedral Knight.
This is a multiple-choice test, and if you know well about
Crusader skills and features of Undead-type monsters, it should be easy.
You will pass the test if you receive over 90 points in the test.
If you fail the test, you can retake it and you will pass if your points are over 80.
First, prepare a Holy Water (ask an Acolyte or Priest to make one for you),
and talk to Guardian Knight NPC in Prontera Castle.
You will be automatically warped a map where you must destroy every monster
in there under 5 minutes.
After successfully completing all tests, talk to Leader of Crusader to become a Crusader!
Comment:
This skill build is the alternative type of a Crusader, this focuses
on physical type attacks than the other one which uses magics.
This build can be used even if your build follows a Knight stat build.
Also known as Lancer Crusader.
Comment:
This build for me is a far more better build than the first one.
It is more balanced in terms of range. But the draw back is the only melee
you will be using is either Bash or Magnum Break. It is recommended that
you get all the the Quest skills for Swordsman if you want to follow this
build.

Thief characters are best known for their increadible evasion rate.
They're so hard to hit especially if you have a low DEX.
Their also made offensively. Their main purpose is to
inflict fast damage to their opponent while not being hit.
One big flaw of the most build-up for Thief are their ultra low VIT,
with one mighty blow (if it hit them) you'll see how much damage
you'll inflict to them especially if you are a swordsman.
For me Thieves are designed to neutralize those (mostly arrogant)
swordsmen. So stop pondering there when you see a knight/swordie
being punished by a thief/assassin in the PVP arena, But be afraid
if you see a swordie/knight punishing a thief/assassin!
Because that will only mean one thing... he's got a perfect build!
If you want more In-Depth FAQS/Guides about Thief you better check
the other Thief-Assassin guides because my guide is only a brief look
about thief’s.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOTE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I DO NOT REQUIRE/RECOMMEND YOU TO FOLLOW THE STATS DISTRIBUTION.
EVEN FOR ME, I FIND FOLLOWING THOSE STATS DISTRIBUTION VERY HARD
DUE TO THE DIFFRENT FIGHTING STYLES OF EACH AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL.
I HAVE PROVIDED THIS PART AS AN OPTION. YOU CAN DISTRIBUTE THE STATS
IN ANY WAY YOU LIKE, JUST TO REACH THE FINAL STATS OF
THE STATS BUILD YOU DESIRE TO HAVE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You can use the most Thief builds as a pre-rogue build but be wary of
the build you will use because of Rogues can use 3 different weapon class
namely: Dagger, Sword and Bow & Arrow Class.
This build is the most common for thief characters.
I'm sure most people will tell you to stick with this in some way.
This build is best for Dagger Rogues and/or Sword Rogues.
Stats Distribution:
STR to 10
DEX to 10
AGI to 30
STR to 20
AGI to 50
DEX to 20
STR to 60
AGI to 90
Dex to 35

(Bonus based on Lv50 Job Rogue)
STR 84 +6
AGI 90 +10
VIT 1 +2
INT 1 +4
DEX 42 +8
LUK 1 +0
This is the most common and most widely used build,
because its the most effective and the only skill build perhaps.
This build may differ in skill points allocation to the other
thief build you see. (Job Change at 40)

This skill is only used as a pre-requisite of a Assassin skill.
Rogue
"The night's fallen angel..."
The iRO Intro:
Enhancing his/her skills learned from the days as a neighborhood ruffian,
everybody avoids his/her eyes. Living in dullness, he/she decides to join the
adventurers gathered by King Tristan III, thinking maybe the skills would work
on monsters as well. As a ruffian would be, he/she can take off an opponent's
armor and take the weapon before the opponent even has the chance to notice,
and is excellent with a dagger. Also, while attacking, he/she is able use
various other skills automatically. When the opponent is strong, he/she becomes
sneaky. When the opponent is weak, he/she becomes peculiarly strong and has
many other strange characteristics.
Others cannot understand and some watch with fright, but in reality,
if he/she gets mad, nothing in sight can be considered safe.
My Intro:
Rogues, somebody mischievous, acting independently and using
unorthodox methods that often cause trouble.
Yaw! that really describes a Rogue! Rogues are all about
Inflicting massive damages on his/her enemy. It's a combination
of a Hunter and a Knight with a twist of a little thief skills.
They can use traps and inflict damages more than a knight can
and stealing of a thief.
What I love about them is their Backstab skill and Plagiarism.
Why? because with a skid trap
(enemy will face where the trap is facing) you can easily
inflict up to 700% of your damage with the skill.
Plagiarism in the other hand can copy the opponent's last used skill.
They are the 3rd wave attack of our future guild.
[HOW TO BE A ROGUE]-------------------------------------------------------
Go to Faros Lighthouse Island (Located at 196,117). You can go there by Comodo warp.
Talk to the NPC there, and proceed to talk to the old man nearby to take tests.
First, you will have to collect some items and bring it back.
When you bring it back, you are asked to distribute those items to
Hollgrenn Na, Aragarm, or Junior. These guys are located (NOT in refine buildings!)
in a east field from the Lighthouse. Go there, and solve the secret code.
When you return, you will take a final test, a test to see if you
can escape a dungeon. When you pass this, you can finally become a Rogue.
Comment:
This build is best for a frontline rogue. Use daggers so
your double damage ability won't be put to waste.
Use tunnel drive to sneak up to your opponent's back or use
skid trap if you want and then use backstab and see your
opponent wonderin' where that came from. Use raid if
you please while hiding.PVP oriented build.
[Stripping by Bow]--------------------------------------------------------
Comment:
This one is made by my classmate, itchipider (pRO: Chaos)
He says that he just wants to have those other skills para
ASTIG or so his character will be much cooler.
[Powerhouse Rogue]--------------------------------------------------------

Those quotes really describes Acolytes. Their main purpose
is to serve the people of Midgard. But nowadays people are abusing the
Acolytes. They can't even say "PLEASE" instead they type in Plzzzzz
pls sometimes they are so demanding PLS HEAL!!! such words...
As an acolyte in pRO I'm fed up with these kind of people.
Back to the topic. Acolytes are all about supporting people that’s
why they have skill that adds bonuses and heal.
Here in pRO. being an Acolyte is hard. There's no GH for us.
darn those Hunter Flys! But thanks to x2/x3 ExP today. it's much easier
to level.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOTE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I DO NOT REQUIRE/RECOMMEND YOU TO FOLLOW THE STATS DISTRIBUTION.
EVEN FOR ME, I FIND FOLLOWING THOSE STATS DISTRIBUTION VERY HARD
DUE TO THE DIFFRENT FIGHTING STYLES OF EACH AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL.
I HAVE PROVIDED THIS PART AS AN OPTION. YOU CAN DISTRIBUTE THE STATS
IN ANY WAY YOU LIKE JUST TO REACH THE FINAL STATS OF
THE STATS BUILD YOU DESIRE TO HAVE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This build is a Hybrid of STR/AGI with a little of VIT and DEX.
This build is my personal favorite, in fact this Is the one that
I am following right now.
Stats Distribution:
STR to 10
AGI to 10
VIT to 10
DEX to 10
INT to 20
VIT to 25
AGI to 30
INT to 28
STR to 30
DEX to 40
AGI to 40
DEX to 46
AGI to 99
STR to 55
If you want your character be named as the Lightning Monk, use this
build. This build is like of an Assassin but instead of LUK INT is
increased. This build emphasizes AGI.
Don't worry about your VIT when you change your job to Monk
you'll get a skill named Dodge which works like the Thief's
Increase Dodge. But until then you have to sacrifice a little.
Stats Distribution:
STR to 10
DEX to 10
INT to 10
AGI to 45

AGI to 70
DEX to 30

AGI to 99
STR to 75
DEX to 46
According to Mad Monarch Gyl: "I believe this is by far the best build
I've used and this is actually one of my favorite.
This build will make you as tough as a swordsman, gaining good
amount of HP per reds/healing items and decent stats bonuses
from spells at the same time healing yourself!
The Cons are very minimal as this build could make you power level-up."

NOTE: Notice there's no Angelus? becoz' its useless at
low skill levels. You'll only need 2 Warp portals
One as your Save-point and one to Glast Heim
(Yes, even though you are a battle Acolyte you can fight
inside GH pump your INT as early as you can to 30...
Quite hard to say but... You must Kill-Steal your way
to become a high-leveled player...)

Comment:
Another important skill, use this to pump up your AGI
ASP and Walking speed, also contribute some increase in your flee rate.
It is said that the faith of the acolyte is not only for the mind,
but the path one walks must also be for the body. It takes more than just the
mind, but it also takes confidence, and the time and effort, along with self
discliple to be able to change jobs. For the faith, one must be good until
they achieve a disciplined body. Until then, it will take much time and effort.
Others have come to fear and respect those who are called monks.
With combo and swperate attacks, the mysterious power of one must not only be
physically strong, but also have great strength and tough blow/hits.
Now Rune Migard's King, Tristan the 3rd's proclamation to the large Catholic
church's archbishop, in following the bidding of all meanings of faith, wants
them to set forth on a war against evil.
My Intro:
"I am invincible! No one can defeat my shadow skill!
My one single blow is... Invincible!"
-- Kuruda Style Annihilation Technique: Martial Language
For me Calx Z. and Mad Monarch Gyl that dialogue really
describe Monks but without the "Shadow Skill" substitute it with
"Fighting Skill" and that's the Monk Language! As in Blow! because
monks uses their own fist to fight with the aid of knuckles as
their basic weapon. The Monk character is a hybrid of
Mage, Swordie and a Thief. Why?
Mage
Because they have Sp Regen in the form of Spirit Recovery
and a skill very similar to Soul Strike (Spirit Sphere)
but much more useful because its very versatile and
all-purpose skill. Why again? Because you can use the skill
both for offensive and defensive purposes,
you can use it to drain enemy SP or deal Holy damage or use it
to recover your SP (1 Spirit Sphere = 10 SP).
Swordie
Because they have HP Regen in the form of Spirit Recovery
also. They also a Endure-like skill but the big difference is,
it is not to prevent flinching but to raise your MDEF and DEF
and reduce damage. They can also serve as Guild Vanguards
like any other Swordies and Knights, perhaps more effective
because of their support skills as an Acolyte.
Thief
Because they have a skill similar to Double-Slash but more
powerful because instead to double the damage, it triples it
in the form of one blow and a skill also similar to Increase Dodge
in the form of Dodge which adds to your Flee rate.
OVERALL: For me it is the best Job of all melee type jobs.
Ragnarok Online: Monk info
Hi there, its me again, its been quite some time since I last e-mailed you
I've Been out "of touch" from the Internet these past few months due to some
problems with my PC's modem (Lok-Bu PC ko) so I can't post on the message boards
on RO-zoe and also because I have been very, very busy lately.
Anyway Last week the PC rental shop where I'm playing was able to get a
copy of the RO server Installer and had put up a private server on
LAN which is limited only within the PC rental shop so only players
there are the only ones who can enjoy it... including myself of course ^_^,
it includes the Alternative jobs including the Amatsu and Juno pathes,
and because I'm an "Adik" I would like to share a few knowledge I know
according to my experience(hey! I'm a beta tester now ^_^)
Monks can equip Mace class weapons and can equip only 1 weapon on the right
hand and a shield on the left, and yes-triple attack works with maces also
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Triple Attack Skill was better than I thought, at Skill Lv1 it activates
almost every time (4 out of 5 attacks) that it looks like Unlimited Sonic Blow!!
At skill lv5 it activates 3 out of 5 attacks and most of the time another triple
attack would activate after another sometimes 3 in a ROW! at skill Lv10 it would
activate 1 out of 5 attacks
Fist attack is very fast(Bare hand) while knuckle class weapons are very-very-veeery sloooow...
I felt like I was a VIT build when using a Fist(even though my AGI is at the 90'salready)
maces are average but a bit faster than that of the AGI Battle Priest, So sometimes
its better to go bare hand than equiping a Knuckle because you would be dealing more
damage per min, Like When fighting in GH, I equip a Kaiser Knuckle(wind elem)against
Nightmare's and Mists But when Fighting against something that takes a while to kill
like Brilight and Hunter Fly I use barefist to attack but if you have Triple Attack
at low levels you then you would be Just fine with the Knuckles I tried the Monk in
PvP against another PvP but with lv1 Triple attack and a Kaiser Knuckle while my
opponent has a Fire Fist, the fight was like a scene from DBZ! but with both players
having a fund of 5m we have all the Yggdrassil Berries we can buy-it was a long fight
note: I got the Kaiser Knuckle from the GM(who is just behind the counter)
along with a Boy's Cap and an R.flower because the isn't an NPC where I can
buy a Knuckle Class weapon, and the exp/drop rate has both been edited (x100/x10)
for super fast leveling! Unfortunately the game version still has lots of
Bugs mostly on the Alternative job skills, I was only able to use Triple Attack,
Iron Palm and Dodge the rest don't work anymore even Spirits Recovery
(Correction: It only works while you are sitting>),
Quest to change to monk job is still unknown no NPC gives info or hint about monks Instead
there's an NPC in the middle of Pron named is "Job Master" who can change you to
1st & 2nd job class. No 2-2 jobs
But according to ragnarokonline.com official RO site in korea the quest to change to monk
is in the prontera ruins (north,east,east of pron) also called Monk Monastery
there will be some kind of memory test then talking to 3 priest then thy would
tell you to see Legendary monk or something(within the monastery)or something like
that I translated the web page using altavista.com but the translation doesn't make sense,
the server seems to be a Sakray version since all the NPC's are in the middle of prontera,
and every thing can be bought from them: Ores and gems(Elu,Ori,elemental ores,steel, iron),
Pet eggs and accessories (with bongun) rare head gears(10m), and cards including Bapho(for
50m!! -_-;;) and even Emperium! (it seems each player here is a guild master)
I was suppose to play on the Sakray server this march but pRO cancelled my invitation
due to some problems(yeah right! there's always a problem w/ them)
IMO playing Monk is similar to Assassin, But much convenient to use because of Heal,
Bless, Teleport and warp portal, you can go almost anywhere where no assassin can go alone
(with the possible exeption of a poring pet to pick up your loots ^_^) don't know yet
the full potential of the monk's skill so It could be better than what I had in mind,
I enjoyed playing it right now even with limited skills
(paano pa kaya kung kumpleto setup ko!?(/gg)
OOps, gotta go now, my bongun is chasing another player's munak! I hope
my short info on monks helps(yeah, I call this short) and thanks for posting my build,
ever since then my inbox is always full ^_^ (including my Bulk with lots of spam -_-;;)
Maybe I'm going to Try the Crusader Job because I saw one taking it easy in GH
prison while singing "When Capt. America throws his fighting shield..."
and oh, one more thing, Lee Myoung-Jin is a "She", just thought that you would
like to know ^_^
Ciao!
------------------------------> Glenn Arienza
My Experience:
Ya.. It's true, Monks are slow. at AGI 90 I only have about 148 ASPD
So darn slow. At lv5 Iron Palm and 3x damage (triple attack)
frequency is a bit high compared but low damage. Good News! we have more
stable damage compared to dagger Assassins. On the other hand, lv10
Iron palm is powerful and lv10 3x damage ... it's very rare that you'll
3x your attack damage, but see waht amount it will deal if it ever activates.
The Triple attack skill is working great but the Quad. Blow and Combo Finish
doesn't work so I haven't tested how it works. Its also frustrating to time your
Triple-->Quad-->Combo Fin Combo. but thanks to that slow ASPD, its much easier, just
be sure that you're alert.
Spirit Recovery works well. at lvl90 All stats to 1. (Ya ALL STATS to 1!)
You gain about 220HP and 40SP. but it only works while you are sitting.
So... That's all for now. I really hate my monK! THE SKILLS WON'T WORK!
Waaaaaa...... how frustrating... I was so excited but it quickly change to
frustration when I cannot enjoy my 3 hours of offline RO because I cannot
enjoy my 3 Hour Monk lv99 just because majority of the 2-2 job Skills
won't work!
Explanation:
I didn't add Spirit Recov because that having Lv.9 Heal as an Acolyte
will still be great with just 30 INT and the way you recover your SP is
that cast Call Spirits - Absorb Spirits. Yes I know it's a slow process.
It's not suited to be executed in places with high aggressiveness because
it really takes up time.
Iron Hand Lv.5
Call Spirits Lv.5
Dodge Lv.10

I used this build Offline, works well but was not tested thoroughly
because some of the skills just won't work!

Gunardi's POV:
My Build's diffrence with your build was in Spirit Recovery, which I think
was very important for a Monk to have and in triple attack because
the lower the level of triple attack the more likely it will activate.
My POV:
Well HE'S SOOO GOOD!!! One draw back.. the triple attack is weak but look
at the way he distribute those skill points... Darn He's so good.
I think his build is far more superior than my build. Thanks For helping us out!
This is the REAL combo build.

Iron Hand Lv.10
Call Spirits Lv.5
Dodge Lv.5
Blade Stop Lv.5
Spirit Recovery Lv.5
Absorb Spirits Lv.1
Explosion Spirits Lv.5
Triple Attack Lv.5
Dodge max to 10/Get 5
NOTE:
You have 7 skill points left over... I suggest that you put 3 in Investigate
and 4 in Finger Offensive or put 5 more in Triple Attack and do whatever you
want with the remaining 2 skill points.
-Natahanael
Natahanael's Words:
This is an alternative build of a monk from the common combo monk.
I suggest that you use the Lightning Monk for this skill build but limit your
intelligence to only 10 for the reason that you won't be using that much sp compared
to the combo monk. Just put those stat points in strength for boost in damage or
luck for more critical percentages.
You will attack extremely fast because of agility up and hard because of triple attacks,
criticals and by blessing. Also your flee rate would be almost as high as an
assassin thanks to agility up and dodge.
If you're hit just heal it, you won't get hit that much anyway.
My POV:
Well.. what can I say? I'm impressed. But still with only 10 INT you will
experience hard time leveling while your an Acolyte. Still as everyone says
"Perfect charaters always start weak and very hard to level like they will never
reach their 2nd class. But wait till they finish their build. They're
unstoppable. They're "Perfect".". I love hearing this dialogue of my bestfriend.
It empowers me to continue my characters.

Note: I did not include Spirits Recovery because now with the Comodo patch, Sp
regeneration will factor according to INT and Base Level, also IMHO lv5 spirits
recovery isn't that of a much help. the triple attack will activate more often on
low levels, it may be weak but you can dish out combos more often than if you max
it(more combo, more damage)
-Glenn
Glenn's Words:
This build is meant to be an all around offensive fighter,
both on melee and ranged and to deal continuous massive amounts of damage,
The AGI Build is recommended for this build to reduce the delay time of the
combo skills and for the Finger Offensive to follow smoothly as a finishing move
or use it as a pre-emptive strike
The Finger Offensive will substitute for the Heal bomb since the monk's heal
bomb won't be as strong as that of the priest, the difference is that the monk
has a wider choice of monsters to blast, You may choose to take the other combo
skills first before getting finger offensive.
(type in uppercase "Rei Gun!!" as you blast your enemies)
*Well, Son Goku has "Kamehameha" and Yusuke Urameshi has "Rei Gun" so
I guess the RO monk has Finger Offensive! Besides no combat fighting hero is complete without
some sort of projectile attack ^_^.
My POV:
His explanation is very amusing and detailed. And his combo can also
be used like the Find Stone-Stone Fling-Envenom-Sonic Blow of the Assassin Class.
Wala na ata akong Imagination.. hindi na ako makaisip ng magandang build.
Nakalimutan ko na rin yung isa kong build. Nyweiz thanks for contributing
to this guide.
[Defense Piercer Monk/extermity monk]-------------------------------------
This Build was sent by Gunardi from RO Indonesia.
Gunardi's words:
This monk build concentrate on dishing high damage to monster with high
defense that's why we got investigate here and also with high critical
rate from critical explosion which ignore defense. I don't put any skill
point in triple attack, because without triple attack we'll have more ASP coz we
won't distrubed by the delay time from triple attack.Also i don't quite
agree with glenn i think spirit recovery still a great skill to have.
A monk must have min 30 int so we'll have more SP and more healing power
without the spirit reco we'll run out of SP and end up sitting because we'll
still be using lot's of SP on using our skill even not as much as combo monk.
And 30 int really help for leveling our acolyte in GH graveyard
(We call it aco's playground in here ^_^).
Actually I make this build for PvP purpose because with this build
we'll have edge over those high defense knight with our investigate and also
to deal those hunter use blade stop on them next cast pneuma and critical
explosion and start pummel them to ground,or just blast em with finger
offense until they died that why we need int here. Also we can show
them our
"OGI" the extermity fist ^^.
My POV:
I am a firm believer that you need atleast 30-40 INT if you want to be
a ƒighting Monk. Someone e-mailed me that he has a INT of 70+
because his build is really for a support priest or a magnus exo priest
(I forgot) that aws just too darn high. and an INT of below 30 sux too.
Because it much easier if you'll start as a HEAL BOMB.
pump your INT to 30 then start distributing your stats pts into other stats.
then Heal bomb your way to power level up!.
Back to the build. I also wanted this kind of build but unfortunately
I lost my copy and I forgot it totaly. but will have to utilize the
Warpolyte monk path (I have one with that build) and also it will really
help you a lot about those pesky Hunters and their Double Strafes!.
I think there's a large mismatch if you will battle a Knight with this build.
if you're using the Lightning Monk build with max dodge surething there's a mismatch.
(Just watch out for Auto-Counter).
[Eich's Combo Monk]-------------------------------------------------------
Eich is the name of Natahanael's wanna be monk acolyte in pRO Iris
Contributed by: Natahanael Wong (wongboy09@hotmail.com)
Computed combo damage of a monk with 100 str using a weapon with 115
attack
with no cards and elements
Triple Attacks = 997 damage at level 10
[(Wpn Atk+Base Atk) x (1+ Skill Level x 0.2) + Weapon Upgrade + Masteries] * Card * Element Effect
[115+100+104(total str bonus) x (1+10 x 0.2) + 25 + 15] * card * element[(319) x (3)] + 40 = 997
Chain Combo = 1316 damage at level 5
[(Wpn Atk+Base Atk) x (1.5+Skill Level x 0.5) + Weapon Upgrade + Masteries] * Card * Element Effect
Combo Finish = 1762 damage at level 5
[(Wpn Atk+Base Atk) x (2.4+Skill Level x 0.6) + Weapon Upgrade + Masteries] * Card * Element Effect
Monk Job Bonus Stats
str - 8 str - 76
agi - 6 agi - 99
vit - 6 vit - 1
int - 2 int - 36
dex - 4 dex - 40
luk - 3 luk - 1
Note:
In order to have 100 str you must have 2 clips of mustle (+3 str) and a
level 10 blessing (76+6+8+10=100).
My Iron Hand is only at level 5 because for me I think that having level 10
triple attack would benifit my player in dishing more damage.
You will only lose 15 damage compared to the 301 damage that you will lose when you
have a level 5 triple attack. With a level 5 triple attack you will attack 5% more
but at the same time your damage will be greatly reduced.
Another reason is that you won't combo that much anyway because combos consume a lot of
sp and monks don't have that much intelligence anyway to have that big amount
of sp.
In any case,you are still the one who will decide for your character
not me =) Lastly,the level 1 critical explosion is not that bad at all
because it gives you 10% chance to make criticals for those monsters
with a lot of defense =P
My POV:
The only downside of Lv10 Triple attack is that it is more difficult to combo.
but if you got that 997 triple attack damage well that's enough for me
(Most Assassins in pRO that I see use their Sonic Blow can only deal an average
damage of 900.)
Comment:
Take this important mastery skill to add some extra damage.
[Spirits Recovery/Spritual Cadence]=======================================
Restores a certain amount of HP and SP every 10 seconds based on Skill Level
If your weight is over 50% then it will restore every 20 seconds
Amount is increased with VIT and INT

1 Restores 4 HP and 2 SP -
2 Restores 8 HP and 4 SP -
3 Restores 12 HP and 6 SP -
4 Restores 16 HP and 8 SP -
5 Restores 20 HP and 10 SP -
Comment:
A great skill, a fusion of SP & HP regen.
But works while you are sitting.
[Dodge/Flee]==============================================================
Requires Iron Fists lvl 5, Summon Spirit Sphere lvl 5 and is mastered at lvl 10.
Increases flee rate, skill level affects on the flee rate percentage.
Comment:
this is not the same as the Thief's Inc. Dodge.
This one adds by points not by percentage.
[Triple Attack/Raging Trifecta Blow]======================================
Deliver 3 blows by a low chance. After use, the caster cannot move for a
short period, if `Raging Quadruple Blow` is used in conjunction with this
skill, movement will be delayed even longer.
DEX and AGI reduce the delay time
Passive

9 21% Chance to Triple Blow 280% ATK -
10 20% Chance to Triple Blow 300% ATK -
Comment:
This is the starting skill of the Combo attacks.
An improved version of the Double damage.
[Call Spirits]============================================================
Summon spirit spheres. One spirit sphere lasts 10 minutes, the caster can
summon a total of 5 spheres at once. Certain Monk skills require spirit
spheres. This spell cannot be interrupted. 3 second casting delay.
DEX affects on the casting time.
Consumes 8 SP.
Comment:
This one is the BASIC LIFE SUPPORT of the Monk.
This skill creates spirit sphere that are needed by some skills
of the Monk's. without this you are pretty much worthless...
[Absorb Spirits]==========================================================
Restores 10 SP by absorbing one spirit sphere. Has a 2 second casting delay,
this skill cannot be interrupted. Consumes 5 SP.
When used against another Monk in PVP,
it will cause their Spirit Spheres to vanish and
drain SP from them to recover yours
Requires: Level 5 Call Spirits
[LV] [Skill Level Effect] [SP]
1 Use Absorb Spirits 5
Comment:
Use this as a MANA burn in PVP and use to recover precious SP.
[Chain Combo/Raging Quadruple Blow]=======================================
Requires Raging Trifecta Blow lvl 5, and is mastered at lvl 5.
Only usable during the delay time that occurred by Raging Trifecta Blow.
Deliver 4 blows on a target, the caster cannot move for a short period after use.
If 'Raging Thrust' is used in conjunction with this skill,
movement will be delayed even longer.
DEX and AGI reduce the delay time
Comment:
Chain Combo/Raging Quadruple Blow is the 2nd blow of the Combo skill.
[Combo Finish/Raging Thrust]==============================================
Only usable during the delay after Raging Quadruple Blow.
The target will take damage and be pushed 5 cells back at the same time.
Consumes 1 spirit sphere, the caster cannot mover after skill use.
If 'Guillotine Fist' is used, and the caster is in Fury status carrying at
least 4 spirit spheres, extra movement delay time for 'Guillotine Fist'
will occur. The delay time is affected by DEX and AGI of the caster.
Guillotine Fist can be activated without a casting delay after this skill.
Requires: Level 3 Chain Combo/Raging Quad. Blow and a Spirit Sphere
Comment:
This is the Final touch of the Combo skill.
If the opponent is still standing... repeat steps 1-3 until
you're satisfied.
[Body Relocation/Snap]=========================================================
Teleport to a chosen cell
Instantly moves the caster to a chosen spot if there is no obstacle between
the caster and the location. Requires 1 spirit sphere and 10 SP.
[LV] [Skill Level Effect] [SP]
1 Use Body Relocation 10
Comment:
This is a controlled but limited teleportation.
[Finger Offensive/Throw Spirit Sphere]=========================================
Throw spirit spheres to a target at a distance.
Skill level affects on the numbers of spirit spheres that the caster can use at a time.
Casting cannot be interrupted, the casting time takes as much as
[1 second + (The numbers of spirit spheresx1 second)]].
Consumes 20 SP 10. Has a 0.5 delay time after a use.
Requires: Level 3 Investigate/Occult Impaction
[LV] [Skill Level Effect] [SP]
1 150% ATK 1 Spirit Sphere
(Casting time 1 second + [Number of Spirit Spheres x 1 second]) 10
2 175% ATK 2 Spirit Spheres
(Casting time 1 second + [Number of Spirit Spheres x 1 second]) 10
3 200% ATK 3 Spirit Spheres
(Casting time 1 second + [Number of Spirit Spheres x 1 second]) 10
4 225% ATK 4 Spirit Spheres
(Casting time 1 second + [Number of Spirit Spheres x 1 second]) 10
5 250% ATK 5 Spirit Spheres
(Casting time 1 second + [Number of Spirit Spheres x 1 second]) 10
Comment:
An attack that is pretty much the same with Soul Strike.
Use this as a mid-range attack or use before you clobber an opponent.
[Investigate]============================================================
Deliver a massive psychic impact to an enemy spending
1 spirit sphere at a time.
DEF of the enemy affects on the amount of damage taken.
The more defense the target has the more damage this skill will do.
Has a 0.5 second delay after a use.
Requires: Level 5 Call Spirits/Summon Spirit Sphere and a Spirit Sphere
Comment:
Use this as a first step attack vs opponents with strong DEF.
[Blade Stop/Root]========================================================
Consuming 1 spirit sphere, stops both the enemy and the caster's movement
for the skill duration. Both the enemy and caster become paralyzed
until either dies. Higher skill level allows the caster to use
certain skills for this skills duration.
This skill is not applicable for boss monsters.
Comment:
Can be used as a Tanking medium. useful against
running opponents and pesky Priests in PVP that makes battles too long.
[Explosion Spirits/Fury]=================================================
Increases critical attack rate for a 3 minute skill duration, consuming
5 spirit spheres. During the skill duration, SP can not be restored
automatically but can be restored through the skill, Spiritual Cadence.
Consumes 15 SP for a skill use.(Potions and other items can still be used)
Comment:
For quick results cast this skill after casting all support skill
you have and attack your enemy and use the Combo Skills.
[Steel Body/Mental Strenght]=============================================
Consumes 5 spirit spheres for a skill use, during the skill duration,
the caster's DEF and MDEF are fixed at 90.
The caster cannot use any active skills during the skill
duration at the same time, the attack and moving speed are decreased 25%.
Has a 5 second casting time which cannot be interrupted,
this skill spends 200 SP for a single use.
Requires: Level 3 Combo Finish/Raging Thrust and 5 Spirit Spheres
[LV] [Skill Level Effect] [SP]
1 30 seconds 50% Max SP
2 60 seconds 50% Max SP
3 90 seconds 50% Max SP
4 120 seconds 50% Max SP
5 150 seconds 50% Max SP
Comment:
This skill pretty much helps only AGI builds, because DEF and MDEF
will be fixed at 90 so if your vit is 99 it will lowered to 90 (too bad).
[Extremity/Guillotine Fist]================================================
During the fury status, the caster can deals huge damages with a target by
consuming 5 spirit spheres and the remaining SP amount of the caster.
The remaining SP amount of the caster affects on the amount of damage
dealt with the target.
This skill pierces the flee rate, the size and the defence of target,
also this skill is neutral property which is not affected by the
weapon property.
Fury status is canceled immediately after the skill use,
for 5 minutes after the skill is used, the caster cannot restore
SP automatically. Skill level affects on the casting time and this skill
can be interrupted while casting. If the caster has learned Raging Thrust
or Root lvl 5 and is qualified requirements, this skill can be used by the caster.
Merchants in my opinion is the hardest character to level up because
they lack battle-skills, but they can give money. That's one of the first
few things that will come to your mibd when you say "merchants" most people
make merchants only to sell their rares and raise money, some people like
Weggy really likes them because when they job change to Blacksmith. they are
some of the strong characters around and very helpful too, they can forge
elemental weapons for us (for a price). if you're a solo player try
to think again if you will still take this job.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOTE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I DO NOT REQUIRE/RECOMMEND YOU TO FOLLOW THE STATS DISTRIBUTION.
EVEN FOR ME, I FIND FOLLOWING THOSE STATS DISTRIBUTION VERY HARD
DUE TO THE DIFFRENT FIGHTING STYLES OF EACH AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL.
I HAVE PROVIDED THIS PART AS AN OPTION. YOU CAN DISTRIBUTE THE STATS
IN ANY WAY YOU WANT. JUST BE SURE THAT END RESULT WILL BE THE SAME WITH
THE BUILD YOU DESIRE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Due to the somewhat suspension of the "Bioethics Skill tree" or the
Homonculus part of their skill tree the builds I will post is only for
the Potion maker build because only the potion part of their skill tree
is enabled as this guide's update. You can utilize the old builds.
but the most recommended one is the STR build or MVP build.
Comment:
This build is the prototype build for alchemist, I am not very sure about
the INT in this build because the skill list I got from
www.ragnarokonline.com looks like the Alchemist do not need INT is attacking
but in SP regen only. Battle oriented builds is still recommended for
alchemist goers.
Comment:
This skill helps you support your funding on weapons and etc.
This also helps you support your Mammonite skill.
[Pushcart]================================================================
Grants you to rent a cart from the kafra Corp.
Having a cart has a penalty. See skill level.
Comment:
Having a l10 of this skill really helps, because it will cancel
walking speed penalty and having a cart always will surely help you
bring more items for long camps and while MVP'ng too.
[Vending]=================================================================

but the item slot availability is affected by skill level.

[LV] [Skill Level Effect] [SP]

This is one of the most needed skills of the Merchant Class.

Talk with the NPC named "Naeko", who is around the center of Alberta.
And give him these items and you will get the skill.

The iRO Intro:
Active in fields from ancient biotechnology to combining and creating mixtures,
he/she joins the adventurers recruited by King Tristan III to perfect his/her
biotechnology, and in the end, to successfully summon a Homunculus.
The potions he/she makes have much better effects than those sold in stores.
The advanced biotechnology also allows summonning of monsters that will help you.
He/She continuously gathers materials and researches up to this day,
amongst the many adventurers, in order to create biotechnology's greatest advantages,
homunculus.
My Intro:
The Alchemist Job works like a Necromancer, summon creatures to fight for you.
But unfortunately the Homunculus part of their skill tree is not implemented,
so many of us (i Think) will be frustrated by this. We thought the Alchemist
job will one of the coolest job but with their trademark skill taken out.
Maybe this alchemist job is one of the worse class... Just maybe.
[HOW TO BE A ALCHEMIST]---------------------------------------------------

Aid Potion Lv.5
Bomb Lv.5

Comment:
Because of the suspension of the Homunculus skill tree the skills that

[Acid Terror]=============================================================
Attacks a target by throwing an acid bottle. This skill has a chance to

the skill level.

Cuek asked:
1. What is the best weapon for Rogue?
-If Rogues can equip Grimtooth... Why not?
It’s the dagger for me.
2. What is the best skill build for Rogue?
-Well this is up to you... But for me it’s the Powerhouse Rogue
3. And my last question, does a Rogue use or can use a equip a dual-dagger?
(In Ragnarok Indonesia, 2nd alternative job still not yet implemented,
so i don’t know that a Rogue can use dual dagger or 1 dagger)
-I think they can only use one weapon at a time or 1 dagger only.
(No dual Dagger)
4. You said that Grimtooth is the best weapon for rouge,
but Grimtooth is very expensive n rare, i'm not that rich to buy Grimtooth,
so, what is your advice for the Newbie Rouge WEAPON
(not too expensive and not too rare)........
-So far in pRO the strongest weapon in dagger class is Damascus
I don't know if there's somebody in pRO who posses a Grimtooth.
Get you Damascus upto +9 or more. Much better if you can acquire a
elemental Damascus.
5. What do you say, if a spear knight VS Crusader
(Paladin build/Krusada build) who'll win?
-If you'll use the Paladin Build.. I don't know...
But for the Krusada(Lancer Crusader) sure thing you have the
upper hand (Because of Spear Quicken and etc.) but still
Its in your way fighting... For me? My bet is on the
Lancing Crusader.
Gunardi asked:
1. What's monk final stats bonus?(in job lv 50)
-Sorry I still don't know but all my builds are proven.
I based all those build on a Lv.99 of each's 1st job.
The only diffrence is the 2-2 Job's bonuses, but don't worry
I didn't add their 1st job bonuses to get their total.
2. Have all second alternative class out in pRO?
-No not yet, but I have a hunch that it will come out between
Feb-Nov next year (2004).
3. What's the strongest class in PvP on pRO?
-So far the 3rd largest job that populated pRO are the strongest
The Hunters. Some Hunters in pRO does not fear those Enduring Knights.
Thanks Guys!!! Without your efforts I won't be able to
formulate the best stats & skill builds for the NextGen characters.
