The internet has been on fire with how successful this year has been for the gaming industry. Developers have been getting better and better at taking complex ideas and turning those visions into amazing games, whether it's cutting edge graphical technology or 16 bit, pixelated style, massive, ambitious single player epics, or online free for alls. In short, it's never been a better time to be a gamer.
That said, we're looking into the not so distant future, checking in on rumors, trailers and news stories that will point us in the direction of the newest and best looking titles heading our way in the month of June and beyond. We're always digging through news and announcements to bring you info on the hottest titles, and 2019 is looking amazing so far. Read on to see what will be on the literal and digital shelves in June!
Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled
The rumored release date on this one is the 21st of June 2019, and we're hoping it sticks, as this racer looks like a blast. The game will allow you to customize your kart and character, which will add some depth and personalization to the title, although you can always just choose Crash or one of the many familiar faces from the series. Oh, right; this is a Crash Bandicoot game! The lovable, iconic Banidcoot has been absent from the gaming scene in recent years, so his return is highly anticipated. A ton of tracks, fan-favorite characters, high definition graphics, enhanced audio and an interactive interface are just some of the perks of this upcoming racer.
There have also been rumors of some bundles for this title as well, and rest assured, friends and neighbors, we'll track the info down for you.
Online Casino Gaming
Gambling. It's fun, most of us love it, but often there is not a lot of options for us outside of Reno or Vegas. Luckily, the online gaming industry is always trying to keep on top of things, regularly introducing new video slots games or table game variants. Microgaming and NetEnt are just two of the biggest and most notorious brands to debut their new video slot releases on PA online casinos, and we are eagerly anticipating anteing up in some new casino based titles!
Super Mario Maker 2
Looking at a release this summer on June 28, Super Mario Maker 2 is coming out for the Nintendo Switch, and much like the majority of all the Super Mario releases, this version allows players to use resources from various Mario games. An upcoming side-scrolling platformer and game creation system, this sequel to Super Mario Maker retains most of the core gameplay from that of its predecessor, where players create their own custom courses using assets from various games across the Super Mario franchise with the ability to share them online. Super Mario Maker 2 introduces many features and assets not found in the original, like a new course style and assets from Super Mario 3D World.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
Created for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Bloodstained is bound to be loved by all worldwide, and it's no surprise as to why. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a gothic horror action side-scroller set in 18th century England, where an evil force has summoned a demon-infested castle, and a lone warrior must stand in their way. Sound familiar?
Taking on the role of Miriam, an orphan and demon fighting badass who was scarred by an alchemist's curse, she's got to stop the demons before the curse crystallizes her body. One look at this title will immediately bring Castlevania to mind, and it should, as the game is led by former Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi. That's right, Bloodstained is the spiritual successor to the Castlevania series. Igarashi banked 5.5 million off of the game's kickstarter and it shows in the graphics, design and combat.
You can snag your copy of Bloodstained on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One June 18, 2019, and June 25, 2019 on Switch.
The Sinking City
The Sinking City is another release for the 28th of June, and we've covered the hell out of it. One of the creepiest games of the summer (and maybe the year), The Sinking City places players in the role of a 1920s private investigator who finds himself in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts, New England. The town is teetering on the brink, with strange happenings, mistrustful citizens, and an unprecedented amount of flooding that is clearly supernatural in origin. Also, it appears that a freaking cthulu is on the loose. Have fun with that!
The Sinking City will release on the 28th for PC, Xbox and PS4.
Although June is pretty much as jam packed with new releases as the previous months have been, the quality of these upcoming June games are so through the roof, they've got us drooling. Everyone here at dlh.net is waiting in avid anticipation for this summer!
