You’ve seen bread flip-flop its little doughy self from the kitchen to the garden to the petrol station, but you’ve never seen where it’s going next. The creative minds at Bossa Studios have delivered a freshly baked update, taking our heroic slice of bread to a whole new place – Team Fortress 2. To help celebrate, I am Bread will enjoy a tasty 50% off sale on the Steam store for the week of release.
It won’t be an easy journey to become toasted though. Bread will have to skillfully climb the Heavy’s face, use tumor-creating teleporters, fire off Sascha the minigun, and traverse a floor littered with sticky mines, all in the name of becoming “sandvich”. It’s a level filled with Easter eggs that fans of Team Fortress 2 will truly appreciate.
“We’ve been big fans of Team Fortress for a long time, and are excited to bring our second piece of Team Fortress 2 content to one of our games,” says Bossa’s gamer-in-chief Henrique Olifiers. “After what we did with Surgeon Simulator and Team Fortress 2, it only seemed natural to continue the craziness with I am Bread.”
The Team Fortress update is available to download from Steam for all existing PC and Mac owners here. The update also includes a new grading system at the end of each level that breaks down how players get an A++. I am Bread is coming soon to iOS touch devices, with a version for PlayStation 4 confirmed for August 25, 2015.
