Focus Home Interactive and DONTNOD Entertainment just released the last of their four-part web series, and they finally threw in a release date for their game.
Vampyr is set in early-20th century London and will have players assume the role of a doctor who has been turned into a vampire, pitting his hippocratic oath against his new-found blood-lust.
In Episode IV: Stories from the dark, we get some more exclusive gameplay, and a deeper insight into the history of vampires and how the narrative is tied into every aspect of the game; the exploration, investigations, citizen encounters, combat, and player choices are all fundamentally intertwined with the game's narrative, with the goal of "total immersion".
