In the harsh ashen wastes of Necromunda the air is so toxic that people cannot survive. No one is pleased with this. Domed cities were erected in order to colonize the planet, but it is also a prison. So many prisoners are bummed. Deep within the bowels of the city is a place called the Underhive, where gangs rule supreme. Will you be able to rise to glory? Or will you end up a corpse to be picked over by the scavengers?

This is the new setting of Necromunda: Underhive Wars coming soon from Focus Interactive. The game puts you in charge of a gang, whose sole purpose is to kick ass and dominate the Underhive. You will have a choice of a few gangs, from the brutal Goliaths to the venomous Escher gang. The gameplay is going to be tactical in nature, so you will be able to plan out your attacks thoughtfully, with precision, but the game encourages you to play how you want. If you wanted to have a gang that loves to go hand to hand all day, you can do that or if you would rather dispatch your opponents from afar, you can go that route as well. There's also a conquest mode that will pit your gang against others in the Underhive (as this will be a 4x portion of the game).
Right now Focus Interactive has not announced a release date for the title, but we should hear more about this title as E3 grows closer.
