Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment just released a new gameplay trailer that gives us a look at the upcoming Lego: The Incredibles game, and it looks... well, like a Lego game.
In the video, fans will see each of the Parr Family’s powers: Elastigirl’s flexible contorting, Mr. Incredible’s Hulk-like strength, Violet’s indestructible force-fields, Dash’s lightning speed and Jack-Jack’s unpredictable abilities. Who names a kid Jack-Jack, anyways?
The video showcases how the Parr Family work together, a variety of game locations, some of the enemies and villains they (you) will be brawling, and they even recreate some iconic moments from the film. Some of these are pretty cool, even if they are basically just stealing scenes out of various Fantastic Four comics. Wait a minute. You didn't realize the Incredibles are basically the Fantastic Four? Come on... a family... with invisibility, strength, fire and force fields? You really didn't notice? Sheesh. Anyways, we have Elastigirl transforming into a sturdy bridge for Mr. Incredible to climb across and Violet unleashing her powers to dismantle laser grids for Dash to race through, etc. It's pretty cool, in a Lego kind of way.
LEGO The Incredibles will be available on the 13th of July, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam.
