It might finally be time to upgrade your consoles, Minecraft lovers; the next update, titled "Update Aquatic" will be the last for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PS Vita. All future updates will not be compatible for the aforementioned systems.

According to the stats, only 5% or so of active players game on these consoles, so unsurprisingly the devs have decided to put their time and money into the PS4 and PC versions, where the bulk of builders are playing.
