Dettlaff van der Eretein, the powerful vampire that first appeared in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Blood and Wine, is making some big decisions and summoning his kin. As the Moon over the Witcher world turns red, new breeds of monsters awake, new villains emerge, and new heroes rise to answer the call. I know this is going to come as a bit of a shock, but you are one of those heroes. Don’t get bit.
Along with a host of new tools and options for waging war, Crimson Curse will introduce over 100 cards across all of GWENT's playable factions, with family-friendly attacks like the ability to afflict enemies with Poison and Bleeding, turn the tide of a conflict using the Deathblow and Berserk mechanics, while defensive tactics like Shield and Vitality will mitigate incoming damage. In short, your toolbox just got a lot bigger. As always, every card comes in both a standard version and a premium animated variant — one of the hallmark features of GWENT's presentation.
Crimson Curse is coming to GWENT for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 28th, 2019. For more information, visit the expansion's official website.
