UNUSUAL FINDINGS CELEBRATES ITS SUCCESSFUL RELEASE WITH A HALLOWEEN THEMED TRAILER AND AN XBOX DEMO

Epic Llama wants to celebrate Halloween with their community bundling Unusual Findings with their previous game

After a successful release on PC and consoles, ESDigital Games and Epic Llama Games announce that its 2D pixel art and classic point & click adventure Unusual Findings will celebrate Halloween with a new trailer as well as a bundle with Epic Llama's previous game, Darkestville Castle. The bundle is already available on Steam (allowing players to buy both games with a discount), and the Xbox bundle is already available and it will arrive soon to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch for $24.99 / €24,99.

Players who still haven't tried Unusual Findings love letter to the 80s can play its demo for free on Xbox and on Steam. PlayStation and Nintendo Switch demos will arrive shortly. Another feature that will soon be available is Vinny's Diary, a diary of one of the main characters with helpful tips and secrets that should be helpful for those who are stuck and need help reconnecting the facts and items.

Epic Llama is also working on polishing bugs and adding new features, such as some Kickstarter backers rewards that are appearing in-game with updates. The game has already received three DLCs on Steam, the original soundtrack, a digital artbook and digital wallpapers, that can be purchased along the game via this bundle.

ABOUT THE GAME

Jump into an adventure inspired by the synthwave, neon lights and 8-tracks as well as cult classics of the era such as The Goonies and The Lost Boys and embark on a journey which leads the boys to a chilling discovery of an impending alien invasion. Every decision you make affects the world around you - sweet talking can be the difference between life and death just as much as when you let your fists talk for you! Your choices will affect the relationship with your friends and determine how the story ends, so get ready to sharpen your detective skills!

Christmas is coming. Vinny, Nick, and Tony are trying to decrypt a pay-per-view adult channel with their brand new cable signal descrambler, but unexpectedly they pick up the distress signal of an alien spaceship crash-landing in the woods near their town. Things only get weirder as they realise that the towering alien is killing specific members of their community!

Immerse yourself into a world that pays homage to 80s classics such as The Goonies, Monster Squad, Terminator, Aliens, and The Lost Boys amongst many others, and gameplay that combines the mechanics of a classic point-and-click adventure such as Full throttle, but with its own unique twist.

Check the Video Buster Store out for clues, challenge other kids at the Laser Llamas Arcades, or try to get along with the Lost Boys with their punk aesthetic in their hideout. Each decision you make affects the relationship between the three friends as well as the entire story, changing the way they solve each puzzle, how they visit each location, and the answers they find.

KEY FEATURES
  • Follow the Sci-fi coming-of-age story of three friends fighting together against the unknown... things (maybe against some known things too...).
  • Utilise "see", "grab" and "talk" action tokens, take advantage of an inventory to use and combine items in and your wits are all you need to play the game.
  • Stylized Pixel art. All the charm of pixel art of the past with more colours, combined with the new visual effects of the future. Some pixels look so real they can almost jump out of the screen.
  • Go back to a simpler time where mixtapes were a thing, the Commodore 64 was king, and kids could go play outside at night and the only main thing of concern was the giant KILLER ALIEN trying to get you and your friends.
  • The decisions you make affect relationships between each of the characters and thus by extension the puzzles, game progression and story. Choose wisely.
  • The most radical music a synthesiser can play. Cool and thematic synthwave music arranged into catchy tunes that are made exclusively for the game to power up the 80s vibes for full immersion.
