Gamera Games and Darksun Studio have announced during the company's recent 5th Birthday Keynote that the new season of their online deck-building game Yi Xian: The Cultivation Card Game comes with a major update, already available, that brings almost 30 new cards to your deck, allowing you to cultivate spiritual plants to help you in future battles plus a new ranking system. The update adds a new side job, the Plant Master, which will add nearly 30 new cards to the game, allowing them to cultivate spiritual plants, let them grow and gather resources for future battles. This update also adds a new character rank mode called "Dao Mindset". In this mode, each character scores independently, and this score will be used instead of rank points for matchmaking. The First Season of Yi Xian starts on April 20th, and is aimed at lasting approximately 2 months. Participating in this season will allow players to unlock rewards such as special card backs, limited titles, avatars and frames after reaching certain score milestones.
