Oslo, Norway - September 7th, 2023 - Snowcastle Games, an independent Oslo-based game developer, announced that they have signed Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure with two publishing teams to ensure a global reach for the game on PC and Console. This builds on their successful Kickstarter with Earthlock, which sold over 2.5 million copies on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
Ikonei Island is a gorgeous, cosy adventure that you can play solo or with your friends. You explore the beautiful island, uncover hidden mysteries, collect items to craft a charming home and bond with magical creatures. The game is reminiscent of cosy classics like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and Dinkum, but brings its own depth of narrative as it taps into the enchanting themes originally explored in Snowcastle's Earthlock.
To lead in Western and MENA markets, Snowcastle has signed with the UK based Jetpack Collective. This is a team with a deep commitment to community focused games experiences. They will be working to bring the game to life on Steam, Epic Game Store, Playstation, Xbox and later Nintendo Switch.
Additionally, Singapore based The Iterative Collective will be looking after the Eastern markets. Both publishing teams have a track record supporting independent developers with mentoring, as well as publishing expertise.

Ikonei Island is currently available in Early Access on Steam and coming to the Epic Game Store, Playstation, Xbox and later Nintendo Switch.
