What was revealed at Wired Direct ‘24?

Watford, United Kingdom — April 29, 2024 | Wired Productions hosted a superbly eclectic showcase of indie talent last week, and in case you missed some of the biggest reveals around, here’s a round-up of everything that was discussed, detailed and delivered during their livestream.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage (Release Date Announcement - August 29th 2024)
Gori: Cuddly Carnage looks to redefine the 90s platformer for a modern audience. Full of dark humour, terrifying toys and nightmarish bosses, this is an uncensored hero adventure with no holds barred. The purrfect mixture of cats, chaos and carnage, this platforming hack’n’slash is the genre reborn.
KARMA: The Dark World (New Game Announcement)
Set in a dystopian future, KARMA: The Dark World is a psychological thriller that includes mind-bending concepts with next-generation visuals to create a truly cinematic masterpiece. Inspired by the likes of George Orwell, David Lynch and Kojima-San, KARMA is a truly unique story of love, loss and deception.
DIG VR (New Game Announcement)
Constructing a new reality in VR, Wired Productions and Just Add Water have partnered to create Dig VR, the first ever digger game on Quest. Starting off with nothing more than a mini-digger and a dream, players will unearth their cultivating passion in the charming town of Diglington and see if they have what it takes to master the pinnacle of mechanical marvels - The Digger!
Deliver us the Moon (New Platform Announcement - Nintendo Switch)
The critically acclaimed and much-loved Deliver Us the Moon will be launching on Switch later this year! With over 5,000 reviews on Steam, this space thriller will put players in an apocalyptic near future where Earth is on the brink of death and only one astronaut can save humanity. Available for the first time on Switch, players can take the moon wherever they go, but can they save humanity?
Martha is Dead Developers LKA Working on Third Game with Wired Productions
A new game from the award-winning Italian game studio and master storytellers, LKA was teased during last week’s showcase. Nothing but a mysterious computer and a few words were shown, but there’s plenty for fans to be excited about with more to be revealed soon.
Hotel Architect (Early Access Announcement Trailer)
Ding! Hotel Architect is coming to Early Access this year, and everyone’s invited. Check in to this new management sim that sees players restoring dilapidated old buildings or creating entire new ones. Every guest will have a different need, so there’s no need for a hostel attitude in this hotel-y anticipated title!
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles (New Free Co-Op Mode & Next Gen Upgrade)
The all-new free update for Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles, a cosy puzzle-platformer drenched in a truly immersive world of colour and music will provide players the chance to explore this puzzler with a friend! Dive back into Great Depths and delve into this fantastical landscape now with a friend to help along the way.
Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles (First Look at the free 'Trade, Tribute and Splinters' DLC)
The first in a series of sizeable updates, Trade, Tribute and Splinters will allow players to secure and spend fresh resources, gather plunder from their fallen enemies and use their new booty to revolutionise their strongholds.
Arcade Paradise VR (Launch Trailer)
Arcade Paradise VR, the highly anticipated VR adaptation of the console classic, is out now! Taking players on an empowering journey from virtual rags to arcade riches, they will transform the decrepit ‘King Wash’ Laundromat into a thriving arcade business! Arcade Paradise VR is out now on Meta Quest and can be purchased here.
