Mecha Party: KingNet's mech battler VR Game Expands Launch to Europe, Asia, and Japan
Two brand-new mechs join the roster as VR MOBA opens up to players around the world
Shanghai, China — May 14, 2024 | Chenni Network (under Kingnet) are happy to announce the expansion of Mecha Party — its novel, entertaining mech-battle VR game — into the European, Asian, and Japanese markets. Now available on PlayStation and Steam, the opening of these new regions allows a fresh crop of global players to join their North American counterparts, who have been enjoying the game since March.
Mecha Party immerses players in virtual reality mechanised combat across colourful arenas, both in single-player and 3v3 battles. It offers a MOBA experience, combining accessible gameplay with enough strategic depth to appeal to both casual gamers and VR enthusiasts alike.
Choose from a diverse roster of unique mechs, each with distinctive abilities and play styles. Players can go it solo, or jump in with a team to fight for the top spot in the first-ever robot battle league — The Mecha Party.
To celebrate the expansion, Mecha Party has introduced two new mechs to its lineup: Dino, a small dinosaur with a crazy appetite for close-range combat, and Tuan, a prop-throwing panda with a particular set of skills for group brawls. These additions aim to bring a fresh dynamic to the battlefield.
Mecha Party has also been updated to improve gameplay balance and address community feedback. Changes include bug fixes and tweaks to ensure a fair and optimised gaming experience, as well as UI refinements and the addition of visually striking new skins so players can customise their mechs even further.
Further, the development team is currently working on the Meta Quest 3 version of Mecha Party, with an anticipated summer 2024 release, offering even more players the chance to get in on the VR mech battler fun.
