Bluepoch Games Celebrates ‘Reverse: 1999’s’ Semi-Anniversary With Version 1.6 Reveal!
"Notes on Shuori" Will Include First Limited Character, Brand-New Roguelike Game Mode, and Free Garment for Everyone
Hong Kong, 20th May 2024: Bluepoch Games is excited to announce Version 1.6 of its award-winning 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG Reverse: 1999 will launch on Thursday 30th May for PC, iOS, and Android.
Titled “Notes on Shuori”, Version 1.6 of Reverse: 1999 will include the first limited character, Jiu Niangzi, as well as a whole host of other fresh characters available to play. Indeed, players will be able to summon the new 6-star Jiu Niangzi and 5-star Yenisei in the Dushuo Festival Limited Banner called “Till the Last Drop”.
Players will also be able to unlock a free garment of An-an Lee during the event, as well as 30 free pulls for all players and up to 90 free pulls for brand-new players.
“Jiu Niangzi is tied exclusively to the Dushuo Festival Limited Banner,” offers Guest Cat, the Art Director. “We think players will love both her and Yenisei. They are both brilliantly brought to life by our incredibly talented voice actors Melody Peng and Alice Malakhov.”
The latest update to Reverse: 1999 comes as the game smashes through its six-month anniversary.

Audiences across mobile and PC have engaged with Bluepoch’s take on 20th-century time-travel, with play focusing on a Storm” that encompasses the world. Players witness an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops where time is a rich tapestry hiding the truth.
The latest update also includes a brand-new roguelike mode titled Echoes in the Mountain where the Field Agent Squad led by Semmelweis is tasked with investigating a Manus branch. Guided by a faint melody, she ventures deep into enemy territory and finds that the truth is beyond her imagination - even her deepest secrets are known to her foe.
To celebrate the game passing its six-month milestone, developer Bluepoch is also set to host an official LiveStream on May 18, 21:00 PM (UTC-5) showcasing Version 1.6 of Reverse: 1999 in full.
