Boca Raton, Florida, 30 May 2024 | WarPlan developer Kraken Studios is expanding its reach in the wargame genre with the release of Kingdom, Dungeon, and Hero, an upcoming fantasy strategy title for PC. The game’s demo will be featured in June’s Steam Next Fest, and the full title will be released on July 1st.
Kingdom, Dungeon, and Hero is a fantasy strategy title of exploration and conquest. Bringing a board-game feel to PC with the game’s hex-based map, players must manage an economy, grow a military, research, conduct diplomacy, embark on adventures, and battle against the game’s multiple opponent kingdoms. Whether your interests lie in conquest, adventuring, or building, Kingdom, Dungeon, and Hero offers many different ways to play.
Build An Empire
With six scenarios to choose from, players will venture around the map in search of resources to increase their kingdom's power while dealing with their opponent’s agenda. Heroes may be hired for tasks and arranged in parties of six. Capitalize on each hero’s unique abilities to face off against the horrors of the main campaign’s Corruption Curse. These heroes will embark on expeditions to uncover magic items and artifacts, strengthen their attributes, and expand the kingdom’s power. Gold and precious shards can be acquired from these adventures to purchase more resources. With your growing influence, rise from explorer to conqueror to lord as you oversee the well-being of your growing kingdom.
Customize Your Campaign
As you form your armies and parties for battle, summaries are provided detailing activities in the realm, including battles, trade, achievements, and research. In addition, random events and an unpredictable weather system will challenge even the most seasoned adventurers! Accompanying these fantasy and wargame elements, Kingdom, Dungeon, and Hero boasts various additional features to create an engaging experience for all players. The game’s editor grants customizable maps, monsters, adventures, heroes, and magic items for a personalized campaign.
