Watford, United Kingdom — June 27, 2024 | Indie Publisher Wired Productions and solo developer Tomas Sala are excited to announce that Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles continues to evolve with its latest bumper update. Boasting new buildings, mechanics and visual improvements, Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles is not only better than ever but now verified on Steam Deck!
Named ‘Architect and Accuracy’, this update forms part of Tomas' ongoing roadmap to continually expand the world of Bulwark and give players new ways to experience the Great Ursee.
Thanks to a host of visual improvements, bug fixes and UI updates, Bulwark has now received official Steam Deck Verified status, so players can take Bulwark with them wherever they go. Build in this beautiful sandbox on the bus, 50,000 feet in the air or aboard a boat (as the people of the Ursee would have intended).
Speaking of boats, new naval units are ready to join the fight! The Mancer Gunboat and Bannerless Berracutta add new powerful Naval Commanders to the fray. Watch as they protect trade routes with overwhelming firepower and devastate their enemies.
Bulwark’s latest update also contains various mechanical changes to how resources behave, brand new high-tier faction buildings, and balance adjustments to combat, giving players more agency when attacking or defending settlements.
Players can pick up these new captains at an additional cost of £0.99/$0.99 and Bulwark itself is currently discounted by 22% as part of the Steam Summer Sale, there’s never been a better time to visit the Ursee and mould it into something beautiful.

The second of Tomas’ substantial updates to Bulwark will soon be followed up by a third: the bombastic ‘Naval Command’ update. This game-changing new content will be available in the Evolving Beta branch soon.
