Indie Hit HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed Hits Heady Heights Of 100k Xbox Sales
Indie developer HYPERCHARGE continues to defy expectations with strong sales without publisher support
Manchester, UK – June 28th, 2024 - Independent developer Digital Cybercherries is delighted to announce that their acclaimed shooter about sentient action figures, Hypercharge: Unboxed, has now sold over 100k copies on Xbox since releasing on May 31st. Despite the small indie team having no big-publisher behind the title, the game hit 25,000 sales in less than 24-hours and has continued that momentum to hit 100k. The game is also currently sitting at a 4.6/5 rating on Xbox based on over 1000 reviews.
"I've been thanking everyone a lot recently, but with us now hitting 100k sales on Xbox, it's my pleasure to do it again - so thank you to everyone that has bought this game and helped us to hit this incredible figure," said Joe Henson, Creative Gameplay and Marketing Director at Digital Cybercherries.
