Gori: Cuddly Carnage Celebrates Acclaim with a New Action Trailer and Game Tips
Cat Gone Wild! Week One Response Reflects Pawsitive Reception from Critics and Fans
Watford, United Kingdom — September 5, 2024 | Straight from mopping up all the unicorn blood (it’s ok, they were evil) Wired Productions alongside developer, Angry Demon Studio, are stoked to share the acclaim that cat-N-slasher Gori: Cuddly Carnage has received since it launched! Highlighting the rave reviews and positive reception from both critics and players, their new accolades trailer showcases why this game has been labelled by some as ‘Devil Meow Cry’ and has become an instant fan favourite, maybe even the Cat game of the year!?
With 97% positive reviews on Steam, Strong on Opencritic and 77% score on Metacritic, Gori: Cuddly Carnage has become a must-play title for gamers. The indie game offers rich and stylized graphics, fast-paced, innovative gameplay and edgy humour. 'Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a reminder that games don’t have to be realistic or serious to be an awesome joyride of violence or chaos’ - FingerGuns.
To celebrate the game’s launch, the team is offering some gameplay tips for players that include:
-
Tip 1 - Stay Mobile! You will want to make sure you’re always on the move, putting your platforming skills to the limit! Power slide, grind and make use of your boost – it’s the best way to dodge any and all oncoming attacks - if you get caught in a tight spot, try a purrfect evade to slow down time for your enemies and dish out the punishment
-
Tip 2 - Use F.R.A.N.K.S Boost Abilities! F.R.A.N.K is a sentient hoverboard, who is both your means of transport and the ultimate weapon! Keep an eye on F.R.A.N.K’s energy - then use it combined with your combos to unleash powerful and devastating attacks. Be sure to utilise any rails or billboards you come across to power him up!
-
Tip 3 - Don’t Break That Combo! Keep your combo going to hit PPP rank (Pawsitively Purrfect Points!) by switching between a range of different attacks, and utilising the grind points in the environment. Cause maximum carnage and don’t get hit to secure the best combo score!
-
Tip 4 - Plan Your Attack! When faced with a horde of enemies be sure to take out those ranged attacks first – after all, Gori is allergic to bullets! Use the grenade shot to mop up hordes of smaller enemies, and your shield to deflect bullets back at ranged shooters, and close the distance so you can get your paws on them!
-
Tip 5 - Buy Buy Buy! Be sure to use the Cooltoyz(™) vending machines found throughout the levels to power up your abilities, increase your health, and buy slick new outfits to slay in style!
-
Tip 6 - There’s a Meow Button! Use it, even when Gori is sleeping in his idle animation, won't make you any better at the game but it will melt your heart!
