THE HUNGRY LAMB CELEBRATES ITS 1ST ANNIVERSARY RELEASING THE DIGITAL ARTBOOK ON STEAM AND ADDING NEW LANGUAGES
A peek behind the scenes at the designs and details of the Late Ming Dynasty inspiration
April 23rd, 2025 – To commemorate the first anniversary of The Hungry Lamb's publication, Zerocreation Game and 2P Games released today on Steam the digital artbook of the acclaimed visual novel. The book will be available on Steam for $4.99 / £4.29 / 4,99€ and a 10% launch discount for 7 days.
Along with the new product, the developers have updated the game to include four new languages: French, Russian, Ukrainian, and Italian.
The digital artbook of The Hungry Lamb is divided into three chapters that will dive into different topics.
The first chapter focuses on the design choices of the characters, their portraits and how they show different emotions, references, drafts, and designer comments. While also exploring the historical setting and key details from the Late Ming Dynasty period, and how it affected the game background and story.
The third and closing chapter examines the key events in the story, dialogues and branching storylines as well as descriptions explaining finer details of the artistic decisions.
Zerocreation Game confirmed today that Sui and Liang will appear in their upcoming title, The Weeping Swan, as side characters with minor side storylines. The key art for both characters' versions in The Weeping Swan will soon be revealed on 2P Games' social media accounts. Players can follow and wishlist the game on Steam to get up-to-date information regarding the development process.
Zerocreation Game are the Chinese studio behind the internationally recognised title, The Hungry Lamb. They have experience in developing visual novels with dark topics since their first title published in 2021, Lay a Beauty to Rest. Right now, they're working on their upcoming sequel to The Hungry Lamb.
