Camera Tricks:
On the Options menu, select control type "H2." Select "Camera Action"
and
scroll through the options until you see "Your Self." Select any of the control
types and you'll see that the shoulder buttons (L and R) have now changed to
camera controls. Begin a game and you'll be able to change the camera
angles whenever you pause the game. Press Select while doing this to
toggle between Rotate/Tilt and Zoom/Pan controls.
Extra Colors:
Beat the game to add a little color to your life. To try on your new clothes, go
to the Random select box and hold Select to slow down the cycling. When
your character appears, press Weak Punch or Weak Kick to choose a new
outfit.
Remove The Power Bar:
Pause during any battle. Press and hold Circle + Square + Triangle + X.
While holding these buttons press Select twice.
Warp to Final Boss:
To warp to the final boss, press Up, Down, Up, Down, Up + Triangle at the title
screen.
BOSS CODES (US Version) :
On controler 1, when the options slide on to the screen: R1, L2, X, L1, R2, O
Then, On controler 2, when the options slide on to the screen: O, R2, L1, X, L2,
R1
Change Uniforms:
This is for player One,To change uniforms select character in
Random select
hold select to slow down.

Turn Off Bars:
To get rid of life and over drive bars, First you must pause game by
hitting start, hold all four attack buttons and hit select once it
will erase the continue,options,reset screen then hit select again it will
erase life and overdrive bars for a clear big screen view. to
bring back hold all four again and hit select until back to normal.
Play as Uranus and Master:
At the title screen, as the words move in from
the left and right, quickly
press R1, L2, X,
L1, R2, and circle on Controller One. If done
right you will
hear a sound and the cursor
turns blue. Go the fighter-select screen and
put
the cursor over the ? box at the top.
Press/hold Select and you can cycle
through
the fighters. Uranus and Master(the bosses)
are now playable.
Play as Sho and Vermilion:
First you need the code for Uranus and Master
entered. At the title screen, as
the words
move left and right, quickly press circle, R2,
L1, X, L2, and R1 on
Controller Two. You will
hear a sound if done right and the cursor
turns red.
Go the fighter-select screen and
put the cursor over the ? box at the top.
Press/hold Select and you can cycle through
the fighters. The hidden fighters
Sho and
Vermilion are now added to the lineup of
playable characters.
Full Powers Using Any Characters:
Toshiden 1&2)for Japan version but US
version never try Let say you are using
Eiji.
When you see Eiji lives becoming red just press and hold L1 & L2 also
press simultaneously R1, R2 & Square or circle or triangle or X ..
You can see
Eiji will use his full Powers..
Special Moves:
Sho:
helicopter attacks: F,D,DF punch
angled copter attack: B,D,DB punch
split kick: D,DB,B kick
flip kick: (jump) D,U kick
fireballs: D,DF,F punch
diving kick: (jump) D,DB,B kick
slide attack: DF + kick
rising roundhouse: D,DF,F + kick
front flip attack: D,DB,B + punch
Power move:
F,DF,D,DB,B,DB,B,F,B HS (moves hands in a ying yang sign
slowly creating a
fireball in front of him - takes off about half opponents life with full hit)
Sho's desperation is the same as in BAT1 also:
F,DF,D,DB,B,DB,D,DF,F HS
Vermillion:
there isn't a lot I've found for him - perhaps thats the price you pay for this
cheesy guy! Anyway, here's what I've found:
Blue powder: F,D,DF punch
fire diagonally up: D,DF,F punch
desperation move:
D,DF,F,B,DB,D,DF HS (pretty much the same as Fo's large air ball) Verm's
desperation acts the same as his overdrive move, except now he's standing on the
ground laying into you instead of hovering in the air.
While Mondo's fireball (in BT I) usually requires a jump first, there's a
way
to do it from a standing position.
The jumping fireball is (jump), D, DF, F, slash
To do the fireball from a standstill press:
D,DF,F,UF,U, slash (forward half circle from down to up)
Mondo will do a quick jump and fireball
A little trick with Ellis (well 4 actually)
In BT 1 Ellis could do the Arc Slash and Air Dance while spinning in the
air after executing a Tornado Kick.
Tornado Kick (D-DB-B-WK or HK) then Arc Slash (WS or HS while airborne)
Tornado Kick (D-DB-B-WK or HK) then Air Dance (D-DB-B-WK or HK while
airborne)
I was very upset to find that these combos did not work in BT 2 until I
watched a few demo fights and saw Ellis pulling off these combos and more
while spinning in the air in a Tornado.
I'm not if the following is exactly how to do them but I think there are
four moves Ellis can do out of the Tornado. (All the following moves are
preceded by a Tornado (D-DB-B-WK or HK) and must be completed in the air
before Ellis lands from her Tornado spin.
Also these moves are risky, especially if you use the Hard Kick button to
execute the Tornado. Ellis is likely to fly out of the ring if you
execute a second move in the air. I have yet to use these moves
EFFECTIVELY as I was able to in BT 1, but hey it's fun to try.
If anyone can confirm the above moves or correct them I would appreciate
it. I'm pretty sure about the Jumping (weak) slash but I was not able to
pull of the other moves every time. It's kinda hard to tell which way is
Forward or Back once Ellis is spinning through the air.
When you beat the game at difficulty 6 or higher you can goto
the random select block and get URANUS and MASTER (hold select to slow
the choices down). Then beat the game with MASTER. Then go back to the
random select block and you will be able to play as URANUS, MASTER,SHO
and the"secret character" VERMILLON! He uses a shogun and a pistol for
his weapons!!!!
PLAY AS ALL OF THE SECRET BOSSES:
First from the title screen, you must go into the options and change the
difficulty level to 4. Now, you must beat the game with any character.
Once you
do this, go back to the options and change the difficulty to
level 5. Begin a
one player game. Go back to the player select screen.
Move your curser to the
question mark. To slow it down, hold the SELECT
button. Now you will see that
2 new characters have been added to your
list (Uranus and Master). Choose
Master and beat the game again.
Now go to the player select screen and
highlight the question mark
once more. Hold the SELECT button. You will see
after Uranus and Master
will be Sho and Vermillion. ( PLAY STATION ONLY)!.
Tip:2
Chaos is new and is a nasty fighter who concentrates on long-range attacks.
If you fight him stay in close.
Toshinden 2 BOSS code
As the options are scrolling to gether at the main menu screen press these
buttons in this order.
Player 1 enter this code. Play as URANUS & MASTER: R1,L2,X,L1,R2,O
Player 2 enter this code. Play as VERMILLION & SHO: O,R2,L1,X,L2,R1
At the character select screen hold "SELECT" to slow it down,
then they will be after Choas.
