Random wrestler:
Press R1 at the character selection screen.
Reveal moves:
To learn the finishers or any other move for a wrestler, enter "Create Wrestler" mode and select his
or her move set. Then, go to edit to learn how to do any of their moves. Alternatively, pause the
game when in the ring and go to movelist. Then the game will display all moves that can be done at
the appropriate time, such as all the tie-up moves, etc.
Alternate Costumes:
When selecting your character, hold R1, L1, or L2 when you select him for an alternate costume.
Taunts:
During a match, hold Kick + Tie-up and press Up, Left, Down, or Right.
Throw your opponent out of the ring:
When your opponent becomes stunned on their feet in Royal Rumble or Battle Royal mode, press Left,
Left, X or Right, Right, X to pick them up. Then, walk to the ropes and press Square to throw your

Irish whip:
To throw your opponent into the ropes or turnbuckle, Tie-up them and then press Left, Left, X or
Right, Right, X.
Call partner into ring:
During a tag team match, hold X and press R1 to have your partner come into the ring without having
to tag them.
Tag team moves:
When your opponent becomes stunned in a 2-on-1 or tag team match, have both partners press Tie-up
simultaneously to execute a double team move, except for the last move, in which only the player on
the turnbuckle needs to press Tie-up:
Double Suplex:
Situation: Both in front of the opponent
Double Powerbomb:
Situation: One player in front of opponent, one behind
Double Wishbone Legsplitter:
Situation: Both players at opponent's feet
Doomsday Device:
Situation: Opponent on one player's shoulder, other player on top turnbuckle
New chant:
Pause the game after a chant starts. Then the crowd will be doing a different chant after the game
is resumed.
Blood matches:
Select "Utilities" from the main menu, then enable the "Blood" option.
Bonus audio:
Not all theme music and wrestler comments will be heard under the "Everybody" language option. Set
the option to "Teen" or "Bleeped" to hear different comments and intro theme music for Billy Gunn,
Chyna, HHH, Mark Henry, Road Dogg, and X-Pac. For instance, Chyna will appear to No Chance in Hell

Career mode bonuses:
Select a wrestler and win the WWF title in career mode to unlock all hidden wrestlers, and
unlock other bonuses, such as Ego Mode, Squeaky Mode, Big Heads, Bleep Mode, additional

Finishing and trademark moves:
All of the finishing moves are performed after your opponent's health is in the red. All
of the trademark moves can be performed when your opponent's health is in the yellow. The
move will appear when your wrestler is in the correct position. For example, Road Dogg's
Stretch Armstrong cannot be performed from in front of an opponent. You need to grapple
him from behind.

Hint: Better wrestler creation:
Make your wrestler look as desired, then go to the moves option. Edit the moves as needed,
and try to include lots of finishers, but keep within the limit.
Hint: Hearing the intros:
Not all wrestlers will speak during their intros under the "Everybody" language
option. Set that option to "Teen" or "Bleeped" to hear intros from
HHH, Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn. This will also result in Chyna appearing to No Chance in
Hell instead of the DX music.
Hint: 3-on-1 or War Matches:
The best strategy to use is to dive in and out of the ring. Press R2 to run, and then
press L2 to quickly slide out.
Glitch: Stuck in a pin:
This may occur in a three-way and four-way match if your wrestler goes for the pin, and
your opponent kicks out at the same time that another wrestler tries to break up the pin.
Your wrestler and your opponents will become stuck in the pin position. Your opponents
will still try to hit your wrestler, and all characters will not be able to get up.
