Alternate Endings:
When the endings start, press the following buttons for each character
when the
view shifts to full-screen:
Mitsurugi: Use the control pad to dodge Tanegashima's shots, and use
Square
or Triangle to deliver the fatal blow Seung Mina: Press Up or Down rapidly
Li
Long: Press Square or Triangle repeatedly Taki: Press X Voldo:
Press Up and Down rapidly till Soul Edge breaks (you can also change the
camera
angle while Voldo is speaking to Vercci with the Triangle button)

Namco Voice Trick:
At the start of the game you will hear a voice say Namco. Hold L1+L2 then
press
UP for Seung Mina's voice, DOWN for a quick voice or BACK for a normal
voice.

Play as Han Myong:
After Soul Edge becomes selectable, beat Arcade Mode using Hwang, then
Seung
Mina immediately afterward. There are conflicting reports whether you must
see
both endings for these characters or not.

Play as Soul Edge:
To play as Soul Edge, beat Arcade Mode with each character, OR leave the
game
running for 20 hours. If you pause mid-game, this 'timer' will still
continue to
run.

Ultimate Weapon:
After defeating Cervantes/Soul Edge, your character's Ultimate Weapon will
appear in one of the stages that can be reached directly from Spain. If
you lose
the battle where the Ultimate Weapon was, your character will perform
his/her
'loss by time-up' animation on the map screen. If this happens, the Weapon
will
have moved to one of the stages adjacent to the one you are on, but it
will not
move to Spain.

Ultimate Weapon in Arcade Move:
To use the Ultimate weapons in arcade mode highlight the charactor you
want to
be and hold up till a weapon list shows up beside the charactor. Know you
can
choose the Ultimate Weapon or any other weapon in battle. Note: You must
earn
the weapons in Edge Master Mode.

Winning Poses:
To change your winning pose, press Triangle, Square, Circle or X after
you've
beat your opponent.

Hint:
In Soul Blade (U.S.), the Soul blade never moves....it is usually ALWAYS
on
episode 8. For example, i lost several times with Taki, that lovely ninja,
and
i still managed to get in North America. Same with Siegfried. I lost a few
times with him in Germany, but i still got it after i won.
Siegfried!, Sophitia!, and Sophitia!! :
Obtain all eight weapons for both Siegfried and Sophitia to play as
Siegfried! and Sophitia!. They are alternate characters that have
different costumes. Sophitia's third version, Sophitia!!, will be
accessible after obtaining all 70 weapons in Edge Master mode.
Han Myong:
Perform Hwang's followed by Seung Mi Na's alternate endings.
Last Weapon in Edge Master Mode:
Beat SoulEdge and let the ending sequence complete. Then, after returning
to the map screen, press K and choose Move. Now the CPU will select a
destination. If you lose the match, press K again and allow the CPU to
select the country. The CPU will always select the location of the last
weapon.
Alternate Title Screen:
Beat the game with all ten characters. Then, the title screen will change
to one that shows all of the characters.
Alternate Costumes:
At the character selection screen, select your character with one of the
following buttons to fight in the corresponding costumes:
A: Default
B: Alternate default color
A + G: Guard
B + G: Alternate guard color
K: New Soul Blade
Alternate Endings:
Enter the following sequences during the ending when the black lines at
the top and bottom of the screen disappear:
Cervantes: Press B.
Hwang: Press A.
Li Long: Press A, B repeatedly to make him stand up.
Mitsurugi: Beat Tanegashima by pressing Left or Right to avoid the bullet.
Then run forward and attack with B before he reloads.
Rock: Press B.
Seung Mina: Quickly press D, U to make her dodge.
Siegfried: Press B.
Sophitia: Move Right.
Taki: Press G to guard Soul Edge's attack.
Voldo: Quickly press U, D repeatedly until Soul Edge breaks.
Camera Control D during E ending Sequence:
Hold A: Zoom in
Hold B: Zoom out
Up: Top view
Down: Horizontal view
Left: Spin counter-clockwise
Right: Spin clockwise
