*** 1. Introduction Movie ***
One year has passed since Regina's fight for survival against raging dinosaurs and their capture of
the rogue scientists Dr. Kirk.
Despite dangers, the government has recklessly resumed massive research on the 3rd Energy. The
heedless quest for immediate results and neglect of predictable consequences. Suddenly, a military
base, a research institute, and an entire town mysteriously vanishes. Now a special mission to
rescue survivors, uncover the mystery and recover the missing research data begins. Armed with the
latest in heavy artillery, a handpicked team heads into the unknown, a dangerous jungle from another
time.
Only Regina has an inkling of the adrenaline pumping pre-historic challenge the team will soon
encounter.
An expert in stealth missions, Regina is a member of an espionage agency that reports directly to
the government. She is a survivor of last year's mission to capture Dr. Kirk. Considering her
outstanding past performance, the agency tagged her once again for this mission. Agility and cool
composure in any situation are her biggest strengths.
Dylan is a true soldier. A member of a special task force in the army, his extremely strong body
and mind can endure any adverse circumstances. Though somewhat lacking in agility, Dylan's strength
makes him excellent at handling heavy firearms. He will realize his destiny during this mission.
David
Age: 23
Height: 6'0"
Team: T.R.A.T. (Tactical Reconnoitering and Acquisition Team)
A member of Dylan's special task force, David's humorous take on danger keeps the team's morale
high. A weekend wrangler, he wears his favorite cowboy hat constantly. Though weaker than Dylan in
fighting ability, David's compassion for his friends is an indispensable asset to the team.

*** 5. Walkthrough ***
The game opens up with a military boat ripping through some kind of a force field. They cam, and
are ambushed by raptors. Everyone is killed except for Regina, Dylan and David. As the raptors
finish up their prey, they turn their heads towards Regina and Dylan. But before they could attack,
they take off. Dylan and Regina look towards a loud thumping coming towards them. A T-Rex breaks
through the brush. Regina and Dylan then take off. David shoots a rocket towards the T-Rex. It
connects, taking out the right eye, but this only infuriates it even more. It chases after Regina
and Dylan all the way up to a cliff. They jump and land somewhere in the jungle. As they get up,
Regina notices that one of the doors is blocked by vines. Dylan makes a comment and proceeds to cut
the vines with his machete. Regina turns the other way and wishes him good luck as she walks out the
other door.
*** 5.1 Jungle ***
You are now Dylan, go through the now clear door, which you used the machete on and run straight
until another cutscene occurs. Three raptors will ambush you from all sides. Run past the one to
Dylan's left so they can attack you from both sides, then attack.
Hint: When going up against the raptors, put your back against a wall. Makes it easier to
kill them and hard for them to get behind you
After you defeat them, run forward towards the fork in the road. Go right and pick up the Med Pak
M, then go left and up the ladder. Keep running and go down the next ladder. Keep going forward
avoiding raptors whenever possible. Raptors usually come in twos, so be careful not to get
surrounded. You'll reach another ladder. Go down that one. Run forward and kill the raptor that
jumps out. Then you go down the next ladder and keep running up and down ladders until you reach a
spot where you can see a
Med Pak S. Then go down the crevice. Run straight and go through the steel gate. Upon entering, a
brief cutscene begins between Dylan and an unknown survivor. He runs away before Dylan can grab
ahold of him. To your right a Save/Shop monitor, as well as a dino file (Velocaraptor) on the floor.
Go to the save/shop and buy whatever you think you will need for the next part, as well as renew
your ammo for your shotgun. Go forward, by passing the door to the left, and go up to the next
ladder to get a resuscitation pak. Go back down and go through the door to the right of the ladder.
Go straight and make a quick left to get the Med Pak M on the floor. Go back and continue on to the
metal fence. Keep running straight until you hit the Military Facility.
*** 5.2 Military Facility - Outside ***
Upon entering the facility, cutscene opens and the T-Rex pays a visit to Dylan once more. When the
cutscene ends, run to the ladder behind you and climb up. Run forward and run around the cargo box,
then jump down running to the ladder in front of you. Climb up that ladder picking up the Med Pak M
along the way and go around to the other side of the cargo box. The T-Rex will once again destroy
the cargo box blocking its path. Jump down and run straight until a cutscene start up. Two
mysterious men start shooting at you, but you dodge every one as well as evade the T-Rex for one
last attack. After that, you enter the door to the Military Facility's inside.
*** 5.3 Military Facility - Inside ***
Run to the top right-hand corner of the room and pick up the dino file (T-Rex) from the desk. Now
go left to the only available door. Run around the corner and go into the first door to your left.
Inside lies a save/shop, a Keycard to the left side of the room, and the Doctor's Papers on the
examining bed. Restock your ammo and exit. When you exit, a pack of raptors will already be running
towards you. Take them out and run back to the first part of the facility. There are four more
raptors in them room, take them out or just run to the door to the outside. The T-Rex is waiting for
you, but run to your right and into the next door. Go to your right and pick up the Storage Room
Items file and then towards the back of the room. Use the keyplate on it to open it and take the
Research Facility Keycard. A cutscene begins after taking the keycard. Alarms begin to sound and the
only door to the room closes. Dylan calls for help and Regina responds, telling him she's on her
way.
*** 5.4 Jungle Pt 2 ***
You are now Regina. If you need to save your game, go back down the ladder to the ship. There is a
save/shop inside. Now go back up the ladder and run straight and use the stungun on the gate panel
and it will open. Turn to your right, there lies a dead soldier, examine him to get a new dino file
(Allosaurus). Turn to your left and run a little bit and pick up the resuscitation pak. Then run
across the bridge and towards the door on the other side. More raptors await you here, just run or
shoot them but keep going until you reach another door. Now go straight until you reach a fork in
the road. Instead of going through the door in front of you, turn left and go down until you reach a
door. Walk towards the ladder and try to climb it. A short cutscene start up introducing a new
enemy……. The Allosaurus. Your best bet would be to run towards the door, but if you want to fight
it, by all means…good luck. When you enter, a group of raptors will attack, kill them and climb up
the ladder to your right. Run straight and then drop down. Go past the vine covered door and go into
the next door to your right. Your are
Hint: When going up against the Allosaurus, stay on the northern ledge, the ledge you
just came out of, and use your flame launcher on him. It keeps him at bay and you receive no damage.
If you don't have the flame launcher (which I hope you do), shoot until he sidesteps away. Move a
little back so he jumps onto the ledge, jump off and wait underneath the ladder until he jumps off
the ledge. Now climb back up and do it all over again until he is defeated. Easy huh?
Now run back to the fork in the road where you made the left instead of going through the door.
This time, go through it. When you enter, it will tell you about the poisonous spores emitted from
the plants. This is where you use your flame launcher. Just light those babies up wherever you see
them. After you're done, go through the door at the end of the path.
Hint: If your are quick, you can get up to a 14 hit combo on all the spore plants. This gives you an
amazing 5,600 points
In the next room, you find more plants, kill them and jump down the ladder and go through the door.
(This will give you another 4,400 points if you don't get hit). You find yourself back in the water
tower save room. You've seen this place before, and you know what to do. Refill your ammo and buy
some health supplies, (I would suggest getting the Duel Machine Guns), then go through the door to
the right of the ladder. There are no raptors to annoy you while going to the military facility.
There is a Triceratops walking in the background though. (Note: you can't hit it, I've tried).
*** 5. 5 Military Facility Pt 2 ***
Upon entering, you hear the screech of a Pterodactyl. Run over to the hardware storage room and
pick up the keycard on the floor and exit. Run to the left of the door to get to the military
facility interior and go inside. Once inside, be ready to be attacked by raptors. After that,
proceed to the only other door available. Go past the medical room and all the way to the end of the
hallway; use your stungun to open the door leading to the control room. Once inside go to your left
and up the stairs. There should be a Management of Keyplates file. Pick it up and go back down. Now
run around the room until you hit a control panel with different colored light. Use your keyplate on
it and then take the Blue Keyplate. With that all done, all you have to do is go back to where Dylan
is trapped, avoiding the Pterodactyls on your way out. When you get there, use the Blue Keyplate on
the blue lock next to the door. A cutscene begins between Dylan and Regina.
They go back to their ship only to find everything inside is trashed. The timegate has been damaged,
as well as the starter battery for the ship. Regina tells Dylan to handcuff the girl and go out to
the other facility. While Dylan tries to handcuff the girl, she takes a liking to him and keeps
trying to touch his face for some unknown reason.
*** 5.6 Jungle Pt 3 ***
You are now Dylan again. When you go up the ladder, get ready to either run or attack the
Allosaurus coming at you. After you're done, run to the once blocked door to your left. The boxes
are now gone. When you enter, another Allosaurus comes toward you. Use your flame launcher again and
take him out. Now keep going straight until you go down the second ladder.
Helpful Hint: I saved more time by getting the 3rd Energy Research Keycard earlier than usual.
Instead of having to go all the way back to this spot to get the keycard, search the waterfall and a
leaf should pop out. Follow the leaf until it stops. Search around the leaf and you should find it.
After getting the keycard, go up the stairs and follow the path to the door. When you enter, you'll
notice that the terrain is familiar. You'll also notice the raptors are coming to take your head
off. Run to the ladder to the left. Keep running up and down the ladders until you reach the water
tower save/shop point. On the way, you'll meet the
T-Rex again, but don't worry, he don't see you and won't attack. When you arrive at the water tower,
refill your ammo and check your medical supplies. Another tool has been added, the Heavy blade. Buy
it if you have the extra cash, if not don't bother. Now go through the door near the save/shop
point. When you exit, you'll be attacked by some more raptors
Hint: This is a great place to rack up dino points. The small area prevents you from being
surrounded, making raptors easy targets.
Go up the ladder and kill some more raptors. Keep running till you get to the door at the end of
the path. Again more raptors, kill them and run to the door. There are Pterodactyl's flying around
in here so run straight ahead to the door, dont stop and try not to get hit. Go up the ladder and
kill the raptors that come at you. Then go down the next ladder. Use the machete on the door to your
left and go in.
*** 5.7 Research Facility ***
Now go left and keep going until a cutscene begins. The cutscene introduces a
new dino, the Oviraptor. Kill them but be sure to watch out for their spit attack. Keep running but
be careful of the Oviraptors jumping through the window, until you hit the door. Use the Research
Facility Keycard on the door and enter. Go right and into the first door on the left. Inside the
research lounge is a save/shop point. Pick up the Researchers Notebook off the examining bed and
then refill all your ammo. A few new tools are available to you now, the EPS Silver Card and the
Inner Suit. Do NOT close the ventilation shaft to the left of the save/shop point. First open the
cage with the green light. It will open up and you'll receive a new dino file (Compsognathus or
Compy). After that, close the ventilation shaft right next to it. Now go to the right side of the
room and close the ventilation shaft there. Use the machete on the door to cut away the vines. In
the next room pick up the Researcher Records file right next to you. No go all the way left until
you reach another ventilation shaft. Close that one and go out the door. You find yourself back in
the hall you started in. Run all the way east to Now you have to get the card back. The main reason for closing the ventilation shafts was so you
could trap the compy from escaping your grasp. Chase the compy to the ventilation shaft you left
open. When you get this done, go into the Researcher Lounge and close the ventilation shaft thereby
trapping it in the room with you. Now you must try and lure it into the cage that you opened towards
the back of the room. Once you do this, the keycard will slide out. Leave the room and get your
weapon ready cause some Oviraptors will attack you once you get out. Kill them and then use the
Research Facility Keycard to open the door to your right. Walk forward and pick up the Starter
Battery off the floor, as well as the report on the Unidentified Body file. That's all there is in
this room. Now it's time to travel all the way back to the ship. You already know how to get back
there, so I'll mention the new enemies that await you while traveling back. The Oviraptors return
while running past the escalator again. This is a great time to rack up point, as I have gotten up
to an 18 hit combo here. The Oviraptors have
*** 5.8 The Boat Ride ***
When you get into the boat, a cutscene starts up with Dylan seeing that the unknown girl has
escaped. Regina comes in and they talk about her and how she wasn't one of the survivors on the
island. Regina then tells him that they should find another place to look for the survivors. Regina
takes the battery and you sit in front of the control panel. Save your game and restock your ammo.
After that click on the control panel and set the destination to the 3rd Energy Facility. Uh Oh!
Your boat is under attack! Plesiosaurus' and Pterodactyls. This is pretty fun to play, but don't let
that go to your head, you still have to win. When you reach your final destination, you will take
control of Regina.
*** 5.9 3rd Energy Reactor ***
The save/shop point contains a few more weapons and tools. A good investment would be the Heavy
Machine Gun and or Missile Pod. If you haven't already (and I hope you have), I suggest getting the
Duel Machine Guns. They also take them out rather easily. They also work well with the other dinos
you encounter as well. Now leave the boat and walk until you hit the dock. Follow the path up aways,
a bunch of Plesiosaurus will pop out of the water, take them out or run. They can kill you instantly
if they drag you underwater. Go through the door at the end of the path and get ready for some dino
killing. Through the door you again have the option of shooting or running. Shooting will give you a
lot of point, especially when you survive without getting hit (10,000 points + the combo points you
get). Run straight ahead and look under the big truck. A new dino file (Pterodactyl) is underneath
it. Now run to the dead soldier and pick up the Soldier's Papers file that is next to him. The
papers tell you about the keycard he dropped in the jungle. If you followed my walkthrough then you
should already have it and w
*** 5.10 3rd Energy Reactor ***
This lift takes you down to the 3rd Energy Reactor. The only problem is, it's underwater. Just as
you get down, two Mosasaurus' attack you
Hint: A good way to take on the Mosasaurus is to first use the shockwave, which knocks them down,
then proceed to attack with the needle fun. Don't worry about running out of ammo, as they are
infinite.
Go to your right and drop down the ledge. There is a Med Pak S here, pick it up if you need it,
then go south and drop down another ledge. Keep walking, there should be a few more Mosasaurus'
attacking you, so kill them and run until you reach another ledge. Drop down that and go left.
Further left is a Med Pak L. Get that or just go through the door, a little to your left. You're now
at a save/shop point. Restock your medical supplies and save your game. (Note: it's a good idea to
buy the Aquagrenade). Go right and pick up the file in the computer alcove. Continue on and you'll
reach a ladder. Go right and into the big door. Follow the only path available and jump over the
half-closed shutter (press the triangle button to jump). After jumping, go through into the next
door. There are more Mosasaurus' in here. Go straight a little and then make a right. Follow the
path until you reach some double doors and a platform with a Med Pak on it. Jump to the top of the
platform and go forward. Jump over the small gap and keep walking around the catwalk. Soon you'll
reach another Med Pak. Pick it up if you wish
Hint: When you are jumping, don't press the d-pad to hard on the direction you want to go, or you'll
end up passing your destination and fall back to the ground. Lightly tap the d-pad.
Go to your right and you'll see another small gap. Jump over it and the screen will center in on
the cracked pillar. You should have bought the Aquagrenade weapon from the last save/shop point. If
not, you'll need to travel all the way back and get it. Otherwise, take it out and blast that
pillar. It will break and the door above it will be accessible. Now walk to your right. You'll see
something shining in the water. Go to it and click on it, it's the switch to power up the elevator.
Now follow the path and jump over the obstruction. Now turn left and drop down to where the dead guy
lies. Watch out a Mosasaurus will come after you so be careful not to get knocked back down to the
lower level.
If you do get knocked down, don't forget you powered up the elevators, just take it back up. Now
pick up the plug that lies next to the guy and then drop down to the double doors to the save/shop.
When you arrive, go to the small computer panel to the right of the save/shop point. Use the plug on
the control panel and then operate it. The shutters will move down and allow you to access what you
couldn't before. Now go back to where you first started jumping the platforms, near the double doors
where the Med Pak was. Go through those double doors and into a save/shop point. Save your game
first, then go up the elevator right next to the save/shop point. Keep going straight, jumping over
the shutters blocking your path and pick up the City Keycard next to the dead guy. Turn right and go
forward a little to pick up a new dino file (Plesiosaurus). When the elevator reaches the bottom,
get off and go through the door.
Hint: The Plesiosaurus is a simple enemy if you know the trick to beating him. Now when you start
off, run straight forward until you reach a ledge with a Med Pak. You may get hit once or twice, but
don't worry. Now jump onto that ledge, then jump onto the ledge to the left. Then jump to the next
ledge, which may take a few tries to do. When you get there, there is a little alcove with a Med Pak
L in it. You can stand there and blast him when he passes by. It will only take about 7-10 hits in
normal mode for it to die
After you kill it, the blue defensive force fields will subside and you will be able to get into
the next room. From the alcove, turn to the right and jump across the small ledge. You should see
another ledge below. Jump to that and you should see a door in front of you, as well as a Med Pak L.
Operate the panel next to the door and enter. You are in an elevator. It asks you to go to the
surface. Say Yes!
*** 5.11 The Route to Edward City ***
After you walk down the stairs with Regina, a cutscene will ensue between Dylan and Regina. While
they are talking David contacts them and tells them that he had found survivors around Edward City.
With that in mind Regina runs off, unlocking the gateway to Edward City. The scene ends and you are
now Dylan. Walk towards the gate in front of you and go thru it. The raptors are back, take them
out. Then go to the door to your right. Run straight and past the cargo boxes to meet up with
another old friend, the Allosaurus. Use the same tactics on him as before. After he is defeated, go
to the save/shop point that's located in the same area. A good idea would be to pick up the Chaingun
for the monsters ahead. The Lightweight Armor is available which may cost a chunk of change, but
halves damage cause by enemies. With nothing else to do in this room, go back to the door. Once back
out the door, go straight up until you see a smashed truck in the back. Make a small right and
you'll see a new dino file (Inostrancevia). After that, go into the destroyed fence and hackaway the
vines on the door at the end of the paGo straight and a cutscene will begin. It seems David left marks showing the way he went to get to
the city. Regina and Dylan split up to look for more. Keep running along the path until you reach
the door. A few Oviraptors will pop out to attack you, so just take them out. In the next area, more
Oviraptors roam the land. Keep running straight while shooting until you reach another door. The
next area is blocked off by a huge bolder. In order to pass it, equip the chaingun and blast the
thing away. After blowing it to pieces, go into the cave and go straight until you reach a fork in
the road. The right side is blocked by a boulder. It is not necessary to blow this away, (unless you
really need it), as it only leads you to a Med Pak L. Take the left path and keep running until you
reach a ladder. Climb up it and meet a new dinosaur, the Inostrancevia.
Hint: Use the chainmine to knock the Inostrancevia on its back. From there shoot its belly until
dead.
After having defeated them, start running right and fight some more Inostranvecias until you reach
another ladder. After climbing up, you see a bolder. Blast it and go thru. Keep running until you
reach a fork in the road. Take the RIGHT path and you'll notice another one of David's marks. Keep
going until you reach a ladder, then descend it. You now face a fork in the road blocked by two
boulders. The right path leads to a hungry Inostranvecia, the other leads to a save spot. It's your
choice. If you chose the left path (which I hope), just keep running straight and you'll eventually
reach the save/shop point. Go up the ladder and a cutscene will commence between Regina, Dylan and
an Allosaurus. Dylan blasts one away with a cannon, but needs Regina's help to pinpoint the location
of where to attack the Allosaurus. He gives you the Signal Gun, which you must shoot when and where
you want the cannon shot to go. After Regina reaches her destination, she will take over as backup
so that Dylan can cross over as well. You do this one time and then both of you enter a save/shop
point.
There's a dino file (Triceratops) on the dead body right in front of you. Run forward a little and a
cutscene will begin. Regina and Dylan see everything dead, people, dinosaurs, nothing is alive. They
then hear a roar. A huge triceratops emerges and charges at them. Both of them hop onto a nearby
jeep and drive away, almost getting impaled by the Triceratops' horns.
*** 5.12 Out Running the Triceratops ***
Unlucky for both Dylan and Regina, and angry Triceratops is hot on their tails. It's Dylan's job to
keep it away from attacking the jeep. Start shooting it until it gets close, when it gets ready to
attack, blast it and it will send it flying back. After about 15 seconds of that, things get hotter
as another Triceratops joins in on the fun. Use the same strategy but make sure you hit the right
one. The Triceratops likes to switch off at times. After a minute or so, both will fall to the
ground and an awesome cutscene will begin. The cutscene starts off with Regina driving the jeep off
a huge cliff. The both jump out and land in the grass. Unluckily for them, raptors are completely
surrounding them. But wait, look in the sky! It's David in a helicopter shooting air-to-ground
missiles at the dinosaurs! As he finishes off the dinos around them he sees all the survivors being
slaughtered by the remaining raptors. The cutscene ends and another cutscene starts. Dylan and David
were mad about failing to save anyone plus not being able to get back home. Regina tells them about
their other mission to retrieve the 3r
*** 5.13 Edward City ***
After the cutscene, walk to the jeep straight across from you. Search the dead body near it to
receive another dino file (Oviraptor). From there go north, keep going north until you reach
Robson's Store. In Robsons store is a save/shop point. Save here and restock on anything you need.
Take the Shop Owner's Papers file off the counter. Now go towards the back of the room and grab the
Living Quarters Key off the floor. Now leave the store and run all the way back to where you started
out in Edward City. Be careful, the Pterodons are back. Go thought the door there and run straight
towards the next door. On the way some Oviraptors will attack you. Take them out and then use the
Living Quarters Key on the door at the end of the path. As you walk out, your friend, the T-Rex pops
out and runs after you. Dylan gets into a tank and now your objective is to escape alive. You can
shoot him with your cannon, or you can shoot a flash bomb, which you have a limited amount of.
The flash bomb will stun the T-Rex, allowing you to get ahead of him. If you manage to knock him
down, you will be rewarded with 1,000 points, but he will still come after you. Also you must blast
the cargo boxes in your path, with the cannon. There is only one way to go so don't worry about
getting lost. When you get to the end, a gate will be closing and trap the tank as it goes under.
Dylan gets out and the T-Rex has been avoided again. Now walk to your left and pick up the Gas Mask
that is lying on the floor. A cutscene will shortly follow between Dylan and another mysterious
survivor. He shoots at Dylan but with the help of the mysterious girl, he fends off the attacker.
The girl runs away, but loses her necklace. Dylan picks it up and finds it strikingly familiar.
It looked like the one his sister used to have. Regina walks up to him and he tells her about how
his sister and mom were kidnapped and how he wasn't a good guy until he joined the T.R.A.T. After
that, Regina tells him that they should head back to the island and head for the missile silo.
*** 5.14 Jungle Pt 4 ***
You're now Regina again. Go to the save/shop point and refill and restock anything you need. Also
take the opportunity to acquire the latest too, the EPS Gold Card. Don't leave home without it. The
EPS Gold Card doubles the amount of extinction points earned while killing dinos. After that, leave
the ship and climb the ladder. Run straight to the left gate and use the stungun to open it. Run
across the bridge and go through the door. Keep running past the raptors until you get to the
ladder, then ascend it. Now run straight, killing the raptors that get in your way, until you reach
a fork in the road. Keep going straight into the door. Now you'll be in the poison marsh area. Keep
running until you reach a fork in the road. Go to the top right-hand corner, which if you look, is a
ledge with a ladder. When you reach the bottom, your gasmask will automatically be put on your face.
No enemies will attack you while you are in this area so keep running along the path until you reach
a ledge with a ladder. Descend it and walk some more to discover another ledge. Run some more again
and descend the final ledge. Y
*** 5.15 Missile Silo ***
Once in here, go straight and save your game at the save/shop point, as well as refresh your ammo.
When you are done, go through the green door to the left of the save/shop point. Once outside,
dispose of the raptors, and keep running straight until you reach a flight of stairs going down.
Descend the stairs and go through the door. In the room run straight over the console with the
flickering light. To the left of it, behind the monitor, is a dino file (Giganotosaurus). Pick it up
and then check the computer where the flickering light is. You have now received the 3rd Energy
Disk. Leave the room and a cutscene begins between Regina and the T-Rex. This time though, things
don't go as well as the T-Rex planned. A huge Giganotosaurus smashes though the wall and battle it
out with the T-Rex. Although the T-Rex tries it's best to defend itself, it stands no chance against
the sheer power of the Giganotosaurus.
After the battle is done, Regina runs back into the room and meets up with Dylan. Just when they
thought everything was ok, alarms blare off and an announcement comes on. It seems that the missile
malfunction has triggered one of the missiles to go off. You now have 10 minutes to deactivate the
launch. Dylan runs off to set up the evacuation process and Regina goes off to deactivate the
launch. As Regina enters the next room, the Giganotosaurus smashes through the wall. Regina attacks
it using the gas terminals which burns it's face up pretty good. The cutscene finally ends and you
are given info needed to kill the Giganotosaurus. Run from gas terminal to gas terminal, pressing
the switch to activate the gas and then using the stungun to create the flame, hitting the
Giganotosaurus. He is quite easy as long as you're quick on your feet. If he roars, mash on the
buttons so he doesn't attack you while you're on the ground. After about 6-8 hits, the
Giganotosaurus will fall and the platforms will rise so you can get to the missile.
Run all the way around the walkway to then computer console. Another puzzle, but it's not too hard.
Just remember back to the 3rd Energy facility puzzle. You must use your stungun to hit the switches
whenever they turn red. When you accomplish this, the bridge will raise. Run across it and follow
the path left until you reach an elevator. Ride it up and then follow the path right to reach the
console to open the missile head. Now run over to the missile head and deactivate the missile. Good
work. Now head back down the elevator. When you get down, walk alittle forward and then watch as a
cutscene starts up of the Giganotosaurus smashing everything in its path as it tries to feed on
Regina.
Regina will wake up in the middle of a room with flames burning everywhere. Save your game and
refill your ammo, then turn around and run towards the stairs. Once at the bottom, go thought the
door. Run straight in the next room, but be cautious the Inostranvecia lurking about. Keep running,
dodging the dinos coming at you until you reach some double doors. The next room also has
Inostranvecia's lurking ahead. Kill them if you wish, but keep running straight until you reach
another set of double doors.
*** 5.16 The Watergate ***
When Regina gets out of the building, Dylan and David are waiting for her. They all run to the
boat, but see that the watergate is shut, thus not allowing them to pass. They see a valve, which
could be the way to open the watergate. Dylan and David both go out to try and open it. David tries
to move the valve while Dylan goes on top of the platform with a gun. As David is turning the valve,
Dylan spots a raptor coming in close. It's now your job to shoot the incoming raptors while he turns
the valve. When you accomplish that a cutscene begins between David and Dylan. The happy moment is
cut short as an Allosaurus grabs ahold of Dylan. Luckily, David had a rocket launcher nearby and
blasts it. David then knocks Dylan into the water and prevents the Allosaurus from biting Dylan
again. Unfortunately, the Allosaurus rips David into shreds. Dylan washes up on a shore alone. He
gets up and sees the mysterious girl telling him to follow her.
*** 5.17 Habitat Support Facility ***
Now you need to prevent any dinos from attacking the mysterious girl. Follow her until you reach a
weird looking door. She'll open it up for you. Follow her through. Keep following her until you
reach a fence. She will climb over it, but you won't be able to. Instead, run to the left where a
ladder will be waiting for you. Climb up the ladder before any dinos can attack her. In the next
room the girl will run over to a control panel. You will be ambushed by some raptors when you chase
after her. Once you get to the top though, a force field blocks you from getting to her. The only
way to get past the force field is to press the 4 switches around the room. Search for them and come
back to the force field when you are done. Now use the control panel located a little left of the
ladder to shut it off. Once the field is deactivated, go though the door. Upon entering, run
straight and pick up the Superintendents Will file. Now go through the door to the back of the room.
Walk across the platform and into the double doors. Keep walking straight and you'll end up in
another room. Pick up the Noah's Ark Planning f
Restock on ammo and medical supplies, and also save if you wish. After that, go thought the door
and enter a huge door. Go down the steps and walk forward. A cutscene starts between Dylan and the
girl. She turns on a hologram, which is displayed in the center of the room. This hologram tells
Dylan about everything. What happened here, and what this place was doing here. He also knows all
about what happened to Regina and Dylan. When Dylan heard this, he was stunned, but that wasn't the
biggest thing. The person telling him all of this is no other than Dylan himself, only from the
future. After some more talk, he tells Dylan that there is another Time Gate, but it can only be
used once. The hologram then ends. Follow the girl to the next door and go in. Upon entering a large
boom is heard. The self-destruct has been activated. And to add insult to injury, a mysterious
survivor shoots a few disks at Dylan and the girl. After a short struggle, the true nemesis appears.
Yes, the Giganotosaurus is back.
When the cutscene ends, run left towards the bridge. Now start running across the bridge as fast as
you can. If you are still on the bridge when the Giganotosaurus smashes it, game over. If you
successfully managed to survive, keep going straight to the console right in front of the bridge. A
cutscene will start up showing you that the exit has been blocked off. Turn on the terminal you're
at now, this will start the anti-satellite up. Now turn left and run straight towards the screen on
the wall. Turn it on, now communications are active between the facility and the satellite. Now get
ready for a long run. Follow the path all the way to the right. Keep going until you reach another
computer terminal on the way back, this dino doesn't want to die. When you reach the main terminal,
fire the weapon. The screen then jumps into a cutscene of the satellite. It charges up and shoots a
beam that disintegrates the Giganotosaurus as well as a mile of rock that will be in its path. Good
Work.
*** 5.18 The Escape ***
After being awe struck at the extraordinary power of the satellite, you realize that you still have
to escape. From the main terminal, run east to the door that was previously blocked. That's it, now
just sit back and watch the ending.
*** 5.19 The Ending ***
Just sit back and watch, I'm not gonna tell you.
*** 6. Dino Files ***
1. Velocaraptor
Meaning: Swift Seizer
Length: 4.8 meters
Height: 1.8 meters
Observation Records
We originally thought dinosaurs were just "slow and dumb reptiles". We soon realized that wasn't
true at all. The Velocaraptor proved us all wrong. The claws on each foot are sharp as blades
providing for a powerful slash making them a killing machine. The long hard tail is used as a
balance when running in high speeds. However, it is also used as a weapon. Their tail whip is so
powerful that it can shatter bones.
Combat Notes
When and if you encounter them, never show your back to them. The moment you start running away you
become prey to them. No soldier has come back alive running away from them. The basic rule of this
world is to fight. The raptors are most prosperous carnivorous dinosaurs in this world. They live in
flocks in different areas. Their behavior and endurance are not all similar but they do have one
thing in common. Speed. They are fast. It is best not to use heavy weapons. Also on very rare
occasions there have been encounters of Blue Raptors reported. Their attack and toughness are said
to be "Ultra Raptors" level. Go hunt them down if you dare claim yourself as a "real" hunter.
2. Tyrannosaurus Rex
Meaning: Tyrant Lizard King
Length: 14.5 meters
Height: 4.8 meters
Observation Records
As the name states it well, they are the largest land carnivores of this Cretaceous world. They act
upon their hunter instinct are always on the hunt for prey in order to sustain energy for their
gigantic bodies. What is so special about them is their implacability. Once they set eyes on their
prey they have a habit of pursuing it. A soldier once reported that he saw one swimming trying to
follow its prey. Not to mention their savageness. After making a toy of their prey, they will finish
it off with a lethal bite.
Combat Notes
No reports have come in with regards to killing a T-Rex. Every soldier who tried to kill it has
died. There is hardly any combat data. If we were forced to give an indirect conclusion, it would be
safe to say that T-Rex has no real weakness. Rumor has it that there was one person who escaped the
implacable T-Rex chase. She was not a soldier but simply Intelligence Personnel. Supposedly
good-looking and about 20 years old.
3. Allosaurus
Meaning: Odd Lizard
Length: 3.0 meters
Observation Records
Anyone who encounters this dinosaur will first feel threatened. Though they're over 8 meters in
height, they can easily jump over obstructions, which are 2 meters in height and will not let a prey
escape from them. The fear is just overwhelming. Their prey is not limited to herbivores but also
small carnivores. You should look out for the Allosaurus in areas where Velociraptors are present.
There have been sightings of the Allosaurus hunting in groups.
Combat Notes
They always position themselves to face their enemy. This is probably because they have a real hard
armor on their head. Shooting their head will not really hurt them. The smart way is to go around to
their side and shoot them in the side of their stomach. However, their quick feet make it difficult
to move to their side. If this is difficult you'll have to rely on a weapon with firepower.
Observation Records
Commonly known as Compy, their diet consists of mainly insect. They are tiny dinos. They are
typically no threat to humans. They move in packs and their social life revolves around their pack.
It's when they started nesting in our Research Facility that they became a nuisance. Their eyes
appear to be similar to those of the birds. We speculate that when they detect small shiny metallic
things, it is their behavior to take them back to their nests. This behavior has frequently caused
problems inside our facility.
Combat Notes
No real notes have been taken since they do not directly inflict harm to humans. However, we are
thinking of way to stop them from stealing small belongings from the soldiers.
5. Pterodactyl
Meaning: Winged and Toothless
Length: 3.0 meters
Height: 6.0 meters
Observation Records
They mostly feed on fish. These flying reptiles are typically found near lake sides. They hover and
glide over the water searching for fish, and then with tremendous speed they dive to snatch their
prey. Although their diet consists of mainly fish, they also feed on small mammals and even on
mammals like us humans. Lately, the Pterodactyl have started to attack humans near the facility,
trying to fight for their territory.
Combat Notes
When they are circulating above you, it is very hard to shoot them. Although they seem to be flying
slowly, in fact they are flying fairly fast. Before they attack their prey, they'll come and
surround you. That's when you should shoot them down. One thing you have to remember is that their
skin of armor is thicker than it appears and if you are to busy trying to shoot one down, the others
will attack you off guard. To lessen the chance of this happening it is important to choose an
appropriate weapon.
6. Mosasaurus
Meaning: River of Mosa Lizard
Length: 6.0 meters
Height: .08 meters
Observation Records
Their main diet seems to be the ammonites, which live in the bottom of the waters. During breeding
season many Mosasaurus gather near the facility in search of food. The jaws, which are strong enough
to crush even the hardest shells, are without a doubt a threat to us humans. Even the diver suit
will not stand up to a Mosasaurus' bite. Despite their large size, they are able to swim quickly.
Their mobility is extraordinary.
Combat Notes: The first thing to do is stop them. Shooting needles is one way. But the best way is
to blast them with the shockwave and knock them out. Shockwaving them is especially useful when
there are multiple enemies. They like to hide in small places. So you should be cautious near walls
where there are holes and openings.
7. Plesiosaurus
Meaning: Near Lizard
Length: 17.0 meters
Height: 3.0 meters
Observation Records
Our lifeline, the 3rd Energy Generator, is located in a lake, underwater. Half of the mechanics who
go under for preventative maintenance never come back. They probably become bait for that giant
thing. They are carnivore reptiles. With their long necks they surface the head and breath. It's
been reported that they have been seen attacking the Pterodon from the water with their long agile
necks.
Combat Notes
When attacked by them, aim for their heads. Using their long necks they'll try to pull their prey
into the water. When you are attacked, the best thing you can do is fire back at them. When you
encounter them in water, unfortunately the only thing that will really hurt them is explosive
artillery. You also have to be careful of the strong current they produce when they swim. It may be
wise to avoid fighting them in water.
8. Inostrancevia
Length: 3.7 meters
Height: 1.2 meters
Observation Records
The cave route, which leads to the City, passes through a volcano. Two years ago, the volcano
suddenly started acting up. From about that same time the four-legged creatures began appearing.
They seem to favor hot and dark places. We believe that these four-legged creatures were herbivores
due to the scarcity of living organisms in their habitat. But when one of our men was attacked by
one of them, we learned that they were actually carnivores. Although they are slow, we have to find
ways to counter them.
Combat Notes
We still have yet to find a way to fight them. It's their ultra-hard armor they wear which makes
them so tough. No regular firearm will hurt them. Their jaws are also very strong. Strong enough to
even crush a helmet. The only effective way we know so far is, when they stand on their hind legs.
This is when you should shoot their stomach. It seems to be their only weak point. Currently a
prototype weapon is in the late stages of development. This mine like weapon, when complete should
flip them on their backs. But we don't know for sure if it will really work.
9. Triceratops
Meaning: Three Horned Face
Length: 8.5 meters
Height: 3.0 meters
Observation Records
They are herbivores and they can be found in the outskirts of the city in the fields. They protect
the herd's eggs in herds. They are social dinosaurs. They are very gently in nature and they will
not become vicious unless forced to, suck as when their eggs are stepped on. A half a year ago,
their attack on the city was unstoppable. A section of the city was completely destroyed. They seem
to remember who harmed them. Ever since then, some of our soldiers have had to pay with their lives
for it.
Combat Notes
If you dare fight them, you have already lost the fight. An angry Triceratops is unstoppable. The
only thing that will stop it is an even angrier Triceratops. All we can do against them is to use
heavy firearms and aim for their noses and get as far away as possible. Since they have priority for
their social lives, they will not come after you if you leave their territory. All you can do is
run.
Observation Records
Ever since coming to this world, we've encountered many different dinosaurs. But this is the 1st one
we thought we could handle easily. But we soon learned that we were sadly mistaken. They are
equipped with two arsenals. One is their sharp beak and the other is their poison. Their name "Egg
Robber" was originally based on a misconception. But it turns out that they use their beaks to crack
the hard shells of eggs, and to protect themselves they have acidic poison. They are well equipped
in both offense and defense.
Combat Notes
You shouldn't stop moving when you fight them. Some will spit poison; some will and kick you. You
will have a better chance of surviving if you continue to move around and attack. Their small size
makes them a pain. They scamper and attack in-groups. They really get on your nerves. To counter
them, use a weapon with which you can blaze away. It should do the job.
11. Giganotosaurus
Meaning: Giant Lizard
Length: More than 20 meters
Height: More than 7 meters
Observation Records
There exists a dinosaur much larger than the T-Rex……such a rumor spread among the soldiers. The
search for "it" began 3 years ago. There have been no sightings. However, last summer deep in the
jungle, a dead T-Rex was found, with huge teeth marks on its throat. The rumor was not going to end
just as a rumor. Not for a while.
Combat Notes
There is nothing known about their attacking behaviors. This can mean 2 things 1 is that no such
dinosaur exists. 2 is that every other soldier who did encounter it has disappeared without a trace.
Soldiers have strayed away from the troop; approximately 70% of their bodies have not been found.
Judging from this, we cannot ignore the fact that there just may be a gigantic dino who has
swallowed our men whole. Anyone who has seen the giant hasn't lived to tell about it.

1. Doctor's Papers, Time Shift
Again the day has come…Jan.14th. This is the day when the 3rd Energy accident occurred and we were
sent to this time. This is the 10th
2. Incineration of Plants
From recent reports it appears that in parts of the jungle near the facility there has
Been a sudden outbreak of poisonous plants called "pp-34". From the body approximately 80 cm in
diameter, they continue to spout poisonous spores. One of our members who inhaled the spores is in
an unconscious critical state. For those of you who are on the medicine plant sample collecting
team, temporarily stop the sample collecting and set up a team to rid us of these poisonous plants.
Use the Flame Launchers for this emergency operation. When doing so, remember to keep your distance
from the target.
3. Researcher's Notebook
March 25th
Lately many of our guys have reported missing belongings. Especially smaller items such as hand
mirrors and watches. Just the other day, my silver rocket followed the same fate. There are rumors
that it's the handy work of a tiny dinosaur. It's got a real jivy name like "Compy" or something.
4. Manager's Diary, Mechanics
June 2nd, 10:30 PM
Tomorrow afternoon two mechanics are coming to this facility from Edward City. It is time for the
annual maintenance check of the 3rd Energy Reactor. This will be the 9th time. The instant something
happens to the underwater reactor, that is when all lifelines will be cut off to us. Again, all we
can do is pray that nothing will happen. As weird as it may sound, sometimes I feel that it'll do us
all a favor if that reactor just blew up on us.
June 3rd, 4:00 PM
The mechanics, who went to the underwater 3rd Energy Reactor, still have not returned. They probably
became their lunch. This is a problem. One of the mechanics, Bob, has the key to the entrance of
Edward City. To get from this facility to the city, it is critical that we get back the key. I guess
there is no real choice but to get the diving suit and go down myself. I just hope I don't become
their dinner.
5. Mechanics Note
To Bob,
I heard that you were placed in charge of this area. As a present for your new position, here is a
memo which may come in handy. It's about restarting the power. When you try to initialize the
power-restarting program, it often stops right? Well, its due to the malfunctioning of the 3
controls terminals. Here are some tips to operate it. When you initialize the program, it quickly
overloads and the lamp turns red, right? Well, when that happens all you need to do is just give it
some electric shock with some kind of tool. It should wake the sucker up.
See Ya
Mike
6. Preventative Maintenance
As always, we'll conduct the preventative maintenance by assigning labor tasks. Bob will be in
charge of the 3rd Energy Reactor itself. Alec will be in charge of checking the Water Circulation
System. As in previous years for the safety of the mechanics, during maintenance work make sure to
close the shutters for the cooling aqueducts. Alec will unplug the plug, which allows control of the
shutter and keep it until bob is done checking the reactor. The other day there was an explosion in
the water circulation chamber. This explosion caused a crack in one of the concrete columns. One
more explosion would have probably destroyed it. Remember to repair that as well.
7. Shop Owners Papers
I underestimated the idea of trying to protect human territory. The plan to clean out the dinosaurs
intruding into the city failed. The humans in this world are about to be extinct. We human shouldn't
have never laid our hands on 3rd Energy. The military folks still don't get it even after all this.
Their plan is to fire the 3rd Energy Missile in this area of the jungle and wipe the whole area out.
They plan to take the data disk to the Missile Silo in the jungle and input the data in a warhead.
The missile is scheduled to strike this area at noon tomorrow. It's either the missile first or us
first…who knows?
8. Management of Keyplates
This is a notification that now all facility keys will be managed in this control room. The colors
of the lock terminal corresponds to the colors of the key. Matching the colors of the keys and the
terminals will release the security lock. Due to security reasons, only one key can be removed at a
time. Also, the keys electronic information is reprogrammed each week. For this reason always return
the key to the Key Control System after use.
9. Report on Unidentified Body
Another dead body was carried in. As expected he was not a resident of Edward City. If this is rally
true, then the only possible conclusion is that he and the others must have come from another time.
Could such a thing be possible? These past months, youths about the age of 17 or 18 have shown up
before us and attacked. Communication with these youths have not been successful, but rather
impossible. Today we plan to remove one of the bodies out of preservation liquid and conduct an
autopsy. The result will be reported to Colonel Maison who is dispatched at the 3rd Energy
Facility.
10. Super Intendment's Will
I knew it would all come to this. There's no way humans and dinosaur could ever co-exist. But if we
sacrafice our lives now, we would leave a change for the existence of the human race. The irony is
that this whole facility which we are trapped in was built to sustain a suitable environment for the
dinosaurs. I am the superintendent of the facility and I'm the only one left. I don't belong here.
There is no future for this world. The children hurt by the dinosaurs have been put inside
life-support chambers. I trust that the people of the "past" will take care of them. The
life-support chambers are almighty. It should be able to heal any wound, no matter how critical they
may be. Also the life-support chambers will feed knowledge and teach them about this world. However,
the chambers were originally designed for the growth of dinosaurs. Thus the knowledge fed will be
limited to the knowledge of co-existing with the dinosaurs. The tragedy is that the children will
eventually loose their speaking ability. But instead they will have inputted the instincts to
protect the dinosaurs. Today I have recorded my messa
11. Noah's Ark Plan
Year 2009
It all began in Bolzinia, a small republic in the southern sea. The first "overdrive" was the
beginning of everything. During transportation something went wrong and it resulted in a crack in
the space-time which skewed history after the Cretaceous Era. To investigate the skewed biological
history after the Cretaceous, and extensive experiment was conducted in a global scale. The
result…devastating. The "Space-time skew" would take its effect on all living organisms. The Earth's
history would change dramatically and the change would wipe the human race from ever existing. That
was the conclusion of the experiment. The pan was to transport the living organisms of the
Cretaceous through the timegate to a world with similar environments, far into the future. After the
crisis had passed, the organisms would then be returned to their original time. We called this the
Noah's Ark Plan. This was the only plan that would leave any chance for the existence of the human
race. We hope that this plan is successful and we shall declare execution of this plan.
12. Storage Room Items
All instruments and materials will be transferred to the research facility tomorrow. Starting next
month an extensive experiment will start relating to the Timegate. There just aren't enough
computers to save all the data. We need as many computers as we can gather. The Timegates Revival
Project has hit against a wall. We hope the experiment will bring about effective measures. All 5
Research Facility Keys to Lieutenant Wolf of the Transport team today. The key cards are kept in a
box in the wall of this room. Approximately 250 people of the soldiers' families have been moved to
the living quarters of Edward City last month. Now it'' all up to us to revive the Timegate.
13. Researchers Records
The recovery of the Timegate seems impossible with the limited instrumentations we have in this
world. Today was supposed to have been the last hopeful experiment. However, the lack of instruments
stopped us from conducting this experiment. One week ago, the Transport team led by Lieutenant Wolf
was supposed to bring us the instruments for the experiment. They never arrived. Something must have
happened in the Military Facility. We still haven't been able to establish communication with them.
If we still intend on pursue with the experiment we need to go to the Missile Silo on the other side
of the suspension bridge. But the bridge was destroyed in a recent combat. The only other way to the
other side is through the deadly poison zone. It is too dangerous to even go near the area.
14. Soldier's Paper
It looks like this is the end for us. After surviving all this time… and to be killed by humans. Who
are they? Those people with the full-face helmets and the rider suit. Somehow I managed to escape.
But I seem to have dropped the key for this facility. How foolish of me. I can only think of one
place where it might be. I must have dropped it somewhere near the spring in the jungle. That spring
has rather a fast current considering its small size. I must go there quickly or else it may drift
away somewhere. The disk I was to deliver to Colonel Maison has been stolen by them helmets. I
believe that the data was about some kind of autopsy.
15. Elevator Security Code
The security code for the elevator to the underwater 3rd Energy Reactor has been changed. The new
code # is ----.
16. Support File
This file contains a few pointers which may help you in the beginning of your mission especially
when you become lost or stuck.
TRAT Headquarters
Extinction Points
When you kill your enemy you will earn points called "Extinction Points". On this mission you will
buy ammo, weapons, health recoveries, and other items using these "Extinction Points". It is
important for a smooth and successful mission that Extinction Points to be earned efficiently.
However, Extinction Points won't do you any good unless you use them. We recommend equipping
yourselves with the most powerful weapon whenever possible.
Combo
When you kill an enemy, points earned will be displayed on the screen. If you succeed in killing
additional enemies while the points are being displayed your credit increase rate will go up. This
is called a combo. This is important technique you should learn to use.
Combat Technique
By pressing the R1 button you can move about in a firing stance. You can even change from target to
target.
