Easy LuBu:
We all know that to unlock Lu Bu we have to get 1000+ K.O.s at the Hulao gate. This seems almost an impossible task, even with a character who
has maximum attributes. Also, no one wants to save after using the hand code to unlock all the characters, it wounds "gamers' pride." So here's a
nice and simple way to do the difficult and earn the elusive Lu Bu.
Fight in Free mode with any likable. The character should be powerful, but not super. If the character is too strong it's likely that the enemies
will fall too quickly and the battle will be won before 1000 sprites have even been spawned by the game engine. My choice for this was Diao Chan (The
woman with the batons, not the rings). She has a pretty good power off the
showroom floor, plus being off the showroom floor leads to my next point. The character should have as few bodyguards as possible. The default 2
peons is great because they don't fight and die easily; this leads to zero
robbed K.O.s. After choosing the character move from starting position to
the center of the map (I chose to pick up the life bonus on top of the northern-most brick wall first). At the center of the map there will be an
overwhelming crowd of enemies. Attempt to keep the character at the edge of
the battle and keep a look out for dropped items to replenish stamina. Eventually after having fought through the center mass the enemy general
shows himself to you. Fight his guards, but do not fight him. Instead retreat and clear the edges of the map. In the lower right of the map there
is a string of wooden walls that Cao Cao's force is likely to be almost through. Go to him and obliterate his entire force. After this head north
through the path that contained the wooden forts and flank the remaining troops from behind. There should be gates continually spawning more
enemies. TRY HARD NOT TO SECURE ANY GATES. Once a gate captain is killed
the gate stops producing enemies. Attacking from the rear this way prevents
accidental encounter of the enemy general.
There is no fear of being cut off in the middle of battle because the enemy never makes it near Dong Zhuo's location, plus the computer can't
fight worth crap to defeat the enemy before you meet him.

Now you can play with Ma Chao, Jiang Wei, Liu Bei, Zhuhe Liang and Huang Zhong.

Kill 1,000 dudes on the second stage at the Battle at Hu Lau Guan.
