Darkstalkers. As I've said before in my other FAQ's,this FAQ
is SOLELY for the use at GameFaq's. Do not use this anywhere else

Demitri is one heck of a character! He's my second
favorite Darkstalker(next to my Talban) He's awesome,strong and does
a fairly good amount of damage.
In this FAQ,I'll explain the basics,and how to use Demitri to your
advantage.

Demitri Maximoff

Date of Birth: 1438
Race: Vampire
Height: 179 cm
Weight: 101 kg
Demitri is the prince of darkness. He reigns with an iron fist in the
dark world. Until his untimely defeat by Morrigan's clan. Now,after 100
years,he has arisen from his enchanted coffin. And sets out to do
battle and prove his massive strength and agility and be hailed once
again as the prince of darkness.
*NOTE*: All ES moves are performed by the motion followed by two
punches/kicks.
Chaos Flare-D,DF,F+P(can also be done in the air)
Demitri hurls a fiery bat projectile,and for effect,the bat bites the
opponent if it hits.
Bat Spin-D,DB,B+K (can also be done in the air)
Demitri dissappears behind a puff of smoke,and reappears twirling
diagonally downward.This attack hits three times,more in the ES version.
Demon Cradle-F,D,DF+P
Demitri does a basic uppercut,except he use his whole body.
Dashing Demon Cradle-Dash Forward,F,D,DF+P
Demitri dashes intimidatingly forward and performs the uppercut.

Bat Dive-F+MP or FP
Demitri raises the opponent and slams them into the ground.
Quick Pleasure-F+MK or RK
Demitri bites the opponent in traditional vampire-style,then discards
them over his shoulder while wiping his mouth in satisfaction.
Bat Fly-In air,F+MP or FP
Same as the Bat Dive,except it's performed in the air.
Negative Stolen-360+P
Demitri does a Zangeif-like piledriver to the opponent,slamming them
into oblivion.

Midnight Pleasure-WP,MP,F+WK,MK(only on Level 2)
Demitri dashes forth,and,if it connects,bites them like mad
then does some martial arts to the opponent.
Demon Billion-F,D,DF+KK
Demitri turns into a muscular demon(his true self) and dissappears,
enclosed by bats who fly a short width on the screen.
Midnight Bliss-D,F,DF+PP
Demitri suavely floats up to his opponent,and if it connects,
turns the opponent into a female,then zaps them of their strength.
Demitri is quite a versatile character. Most of his attacks deal
good damage,and he has just the right attack for any occasion.
I wouldn't suggest using his Demon Billion super too much,as he
can be hit out of it.
The Midnight Bliss is fun to watch,easy to execute,and cannot be
blocked. Try doing this after you come in with a jumping attack,then
quickly perform the move for maximum satisfaction. The same goes
with his Midnight Pleasure super.
Use his Chaos Flare in the air to stop opponents who constantly jump.
His Bat Spin is good. Try using the SK version if you're close to the
opponent.
Demitri's Dashing uppercut is perfect for those who want to stop their
opponents quick.
Demitri's dash is excellent,as it can go through just about everything.
And it provides Demitri a quick escape if he's cornered.
Vs.Demitri-Demitri tends to dash a bit and also throw a couple of Chaos
Flares at you to keep you at bay. Use the bat spin sparingly. And give him
a taste of his own medicene by dashing in and giving a good roundhouse or
fierce. Or just a good old Demon Cradle.
Vs.Jon Talbain-Talbain is quick and will get you with a Beast Cannon if
you're
not careful. He will also try to keep you away by performing a Million
Flicker.
The best time to get Talbain is right after he's finished performing the
Beast
Cannon. You can easily get him with a low kick chain-combo. If you're trying
to perform the Midnight Bliss on him,good luck,he always dodges it. Your
best
bet is to wait until he gets up after being knocked down.
Vs.L.Raptor-Lord Raptor isn't too fast. But will always try to knock you
out of the air or will almost always attack when airborne. Use Demitri
standing forward to knock him out of the air,or his jumping forward when
meeting with him in the air. Try using the Midnight Pleasure on him for
a good power-drainer. Chain combos won't work as well against Raptor
unless you see an opening.
Vs.Victor-Victor isn't exactly the fastest in the whole game,but can still
be quite as annoying with his electric punches and kicks,which he'll
constantly
try to poke you with. He'll often try to get you with the Mega Stake,which
is easily avoidable. Counter with a Demon Cradle. Dash in and throw him,too.
Recommended supers against Victor are Midnight Bliss and Midnight Pleasure.
Vs.Morrigan-Morrigan is one of the most annoying characters to fight against
in the game. She'll constanly dash or fly up in the air. When you see
her do a couple of standing jabs,be careful. This means she'll try to do
her Darkness Illusion on you. Counter with a quick chain combo. If she
tries to do the Finishing Wire,snap her out of it REALLY fast with a Bat
Spin.
The Midnight Pleasure is the best super against Morrigan,when up
close,though.
Vs.Anakaris-Ah,Anakaris. One of the cheapest fighters to play against,and
one
of the most annoying. Anakaris seems to love to counter your jumping attacks
with a ducking Fierce. I wouldn't recommend jumping too much. Fight him off
with Chaos Flares. When you see an opportunity,dash in and do a Midnight
Bliss.
Also use the Bat Spin when he jumps. Watch out. He'll always trip you
somehow
with his annoying chain combos.
Vs.Felicia-This is one of Demitri's worst opponents to battle. Felicia is
extermely quick,and when need be,very cheap. It's hard to land any kind of
super on her,since she'll cowardly walk away from you when you do it.
Dash in as often as you can and throw her. When she does a couple of
standing
jabs,this means she'll try and do her Dancing Flash super. Dash forward and
do a Demon Billion,since she likes to jump around and confuse you. A good
Fierce or Roundhouse is good now and then,too.
Vs.Bishamon-Bishamon is a chain combo cheapie. Watch out for his Karame
Dama,as he'll throw it often and get you with his many attacks that follow.
Try counter with chain combos and a good Fierce or Roundhouse when up
close. Use the Midnight Pleasure when you got him cornered,since he tends
to block,and this super cannot be blocked. It's a good and annoying way to
beat him.
Vs.Rikuo-Rikuo loves to do dashing Strong Punches,which will almost always
get you if you're not careful. He'll also try to get you a lot with his
Sea Rage super,quickly jump in with a roundhouse and knock him out of it.
He's also vulnerable to chain combos,too. Use this to your advantadge.
Vs.Sasquatch-One of the few anti-air characters in the game,Sasquatch
will constantly try to knock you out of the air with his Big Breath
and Big Typhoon moves,which he does constantly. Throw a few Chaos
Flares to snap him out of it. Use the Forward Bat Spin on him. Try
not to get to close to him,as he'll always some manage to throw you.
Any of Demitri's supers can counter this twit,especially the Midnight
Pleasure.
Vs.Hsien-Ko-This projectile-happy Chinese zombie has many tricks up
her sleeve,literally. She'll constantly try to keep you at bay
with her Ankihou,which throws out random projectiles. Quickly
dash and either throw her or do a low chain combo. Watch out
when she tries to do a chain combo on you,this most likely means
she'll do a Tenraiha on you,which is a super that will quickly
do a lot of damage to you. Use the Midnight Bliss on her.
Vs.Jedah-The master of this game,and also the cheapest. A
chain combo king that will almost always get you with them.
His dash is dangerous to you,too,as it can hit you and knock
you out of the air. Try not to jump in too much,as you'll be
vulnerable to his Nero=Fautica. Your best bet is to constantly
chain combo him,and when you see fit,either do a Demon Billion
or a Midnight Bliss,since he tends to block a lot.
Vs.Lilith-Her Merry Turn move is her most valuable move,and she
will try and constantly perform it. Just counter with basic
attacks. Same thing here as with Morrigan,since the two play
almost similar.
Vs.Q-Bee-Queen Bee isn't too hard. She'll try and constantly
hit you with her Air Delta A move. And her supers are easily
avoidble. Chain combos are your friend here. Use the Midnight
Pleasure on this ugly bee.
Vs.B.B.Hood-She,like Q-Bee,isn't hard either. You can counter
her attacks with a chain combo or a Midnight Pleasure,when close.
Watch out for her Beautiful Memory super,though. This can be quite
damaging.
