I. Introduction

Hello and welcome to Darkness King's Zophar Boss Guide! This guide has been
created by popular demand to help everyone with what is probably one of the
hardest bosses in the game, and not to mention the final boss of the regular
game. Hopefully this guide will be what you need to get the job done, but if its
really necessary you can email me at the address above, or drop a line to
MHulbert if you want to. Please look to the disclaimer for anything legal and
enjoy the guide!

II. Disk 3 Walkthrough - Final Battle Against Ghaleon
=============================================================================
After everything that happened, you are back at Vane. First thing you
got to do is talk to Lemina's mom. After you are done that, go out to the town
and talk to everyone else.
Ronfar - In the library
Jean - By the Statue
Lemina - Cave of Trial
Leo - Roof Top of Miria (Have to talk to the other 3 first)
After that Ghaleon will appear. Here comes Hiro backup.
Now it is time to fight, now since you are not allow to use any magic power for
the first little bit of the battle, just attack normal. After awhile, your
characters will be able to use magic power again. Here are some of Ghaleon's attacks
- Sword Flashing/Down, about to do +200 damage to everyone.
- Sword Sparking/Front, about to do +130 to a single character.
- Attack normal
- Use Items to heal (Yes, I am serious. I have seen it a few times)
With Hiro's Triple Sword attack (which he learn at level 50), you should have
no problem at taking him down.
- Hiro and Jean attack normal for first round.
- Lemina use Power Drive on Hiro then Jean.
- Ronfar should always be using Tranquil Litany. If necessary, use Divine Litany.
- Leo use Flash Blade to attack, sometimes help Ronfar to heal.
- Jean should use Blue Dragon Palm after Lemina use Power Drive. If necessary, use
Slam Dance or Doppel Dance.
- Hiro use Triple Sword after Lemina use Power Drive. If he doesn't have Triple
Sword yet, use Poe Sword

III. Disk 3 Walkthrough - Zophar's Keep
=============================================================================
Note: There is a Statue of Althena aboard the Destiny. I wouldn't suggest
you to use it when you are in trouble in the Zophar's Keep, because it is a long
way.
Note: Save at least 2 Silver Lights for the final battle
Note: During this trip, try not to use Mp if isn't nessessary
Note: If you want to heal, I suggest you use MP instead of Items
Note: Save up at least 3 Life Jewels you find in this trip
North = Top
South = Bottom
West = Left
East = Right
After you enter, keep walking Get a Silver Light in the middle on this
place. Turn west, keep walking. After that, turn southwest. Now make a turn at west,
follow the path, grab the Silver Light and head up stairs.
Follow the path and go north, after that, go northeast. Now head up
stairs, push the color thing. Go back to the 2nd floor, go through the new
open door. Get the Fiend Ring, equip it if you want (Depend on your equipment).
Go down south to get another Silver Light. Follow the path, and go up stairs.
Push the color thing again. Go back down to 2nd Floor, go down
southwest and grab a Life Jewel. Now go north and get another Life Jewel. Go down
southwest then go northeast, push the color thing again. Return to last junction
and go to the southwest. Climb the stairs and push the color thing.
Go back to the second to last junction then go north. Head up stairs to
floor 3. Go south, east and then south again and go up stairs. Go to the east side and
get a Life Jewel. After that Go north and cross the weird bridge. Go north again,
then go west. Go north again, the northeast and head go up stairs.
Go west, north and then southeast. Grab the Silver Lights Go back to the
second to last junction and go south. Go south again then go northwest and head
up stairs.
- SAVE YOUR GAME NOW, Zophar's battle coming up next
Note: Save I said before, there is no Statue of Althena here.
- Use Life Jewel to Heal (to Full, if possible)
- Use Silver Lights or Star Lights to heal your Mp to full (Save 2 Silver Lights).

IV. Equipment Status
=============================================================================
- Have at least some Silver Lights/Star Lights, but not necessary
- Hiro at least level 50, With Tri-Ring/Goddess/Warrior Crests
- Ronfar should be at least level 51, with Angel Ring, and Fresh Ring
- Jean at least level 51, something that boost her power/speed
- Lemina at least level 51, White Dragon Protection and Angel Ring
- Leo at least level 50, Red Dragon Crest

V. Zophar 1st Form (Standing Form)
=============================================================================
- Ok before we start the actual fighting, here's a little background information
on our homeboy Zophar. As you can see he's not a real nice guy, actually the
pinnacle of all evil up to this point in Lunar. He controlled the False Althena
and he "thought" he was controlling Ghaleon, little did he know :P Alright,
basically he sacked the Blue Star, and now he's trying to take over Lunar as
well, luckily our brave heroes are here with some other ideas in mind, how will
they fair, now you control their destiny...
- Hiro Attack Normal for the first round. Then use Triple Sword EVERY ROUND
until he has like 80 something MP left, then use Poe Sword. Use Poe Sword
until he has a range of 60 to 66Mp left. For the rest of the battle, just
attack normal again until 1st form die.
- Jean should be using Blue Dragon Palm every round here, save up 64MP if
possible, if not then save up at least 20Mp. After that attack normal.
- Leo should be using Flash Blade, but if his Hp somehow got low, use Soul
Blade. Save up however much MP for him to use Red Dragon Anger. Then attack
normal
- Ronfar should be using Tranquil Litany EVERY ROUND
- Lemina should be using Power Drive this first round on Hiro. Then after
that, use White Dragon Protection EVERY ROUND. Save up 55Mp if possible, if
not, just use it all up. Then attack normal
Note: If you someone dies at the first form, using this guide, I suggest you
to try again. Just make sure you attack as normal after you have save up
enough amount of MP I told u to.

VI. Zophar 2nd Form (4 Hands Form)
=============================================================================
Note: This Form only last 7 or 8 rounds, and you don't even need to attack, it
is a form of 'story line', but u can use it to your advantage.
Note: You can use your advantage by destroy the front two hands (the one that
is held up, and the one that looks to be lying on the ground). They are the
only killable targets in this form.
Note: Use a Life Jewel here if necessary
Note: If you have over 5 Silver Lights, you can use 1 here.
- Remember I told you to save up 60MP earlier? Well, use it here. Have Hiro
Use Triple Sword on each hand once. Then attack normal on the hands.
- If Jean has 64MP left, use Dragon Fist Twice. If she only got 20MP,
use Dragon Palm on each hand once. Then attack normal.
- Have Leo to use Red Dragon Anger once, then attack normal.
- Have Ronfar use Tranquil Litany EVERY ROUND, don't be afraid to use moves
like Anger Dice when u are low at MP.
- Have Lemina use Catastrophe once then use White Dragon Protection for the
rest, if u don't' have enough MP to use white Dragon Protection. Then use
Items to heal your allies.
- After you destroyed the hands you should have at least 1 round left. Here,
spread out Leo, Hiro, Jean and Lemina OR Ronfar (you would want 1 of them to
keep healing others this round)
Note: You would want to use ANYTHING but Star Lights/Silver Lights to destroy
those 2 hands.

VII. Zophar 3rd Form
=============================================================================
Note: Lucia will give you full HP/MP before you start
Note: If u successfully took out the 2 hands last round, you would have less
trouble here
NOTE: THE ONLY TARGET YOU WANT TO KILL IS THE HEAD/BODY! LEAVE THE HAND ALONE
- Hiro Use Triple Sword EVERY ROUND
- Jean uses Blue Dragon Palm EVERYROUND
- Leo uses Flash Blade EVERY ROUND. If you have a few Star Lights/Silver Lights,
have Leo us Soul Blade EVERY ROUND
- Ronfar Use Tranquil Litany EVERY ROUND
- Lemina use White Dragon Protection Every round
- When Leo/Jean/Hiro MP are getting low and if u have a silver lights, have that
members give themselves Silver Lights/Star Lights and have the other 2 keep
attacking. You can do this for 3 rounds.
- If Ronfar/Lemina is low on MP, have either Leo/Jean give him/her a
Star Lights/Silver Lights before the round his/her MP is low, so that those 2
can keep using Tranquil Litany/White Dragon Protection.
NOTE: If that does happen, for this round, have Leo and Jean both use Silver
Lights on them. Have Hiro Use a Life Jewel
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NO MP HEALING ITEMS, LET WHOEVER HAVE ANGEL WINGS DIE, BUT
IN THAT ROUND, MAKE SURE YOU KEEP UP THE DEFENDING TOO
- If you have NO Angel wings/MP healing items, just make sure when people die,
have them heal like the way I shown below, and after that, have them attack
as normal.
- If you only have 1 MP healing thing, give it to Lemina or Hiro, you decide.
- If somehow Hiro die, Have Jean revive him and have Leo use a healing item
on him. Make sure Lemina/Ronfar keep up the defend/healing too.
- With that Zophar should be dead soon.

VIII. Zophar 4th Form
=============================================================================
LOL, so is still not over? The 4th form.
Note: This is a time battle, which means you can just defend and heal every
single round until Zophar die (which mean time run out).
- Only Hiro/Lucia are in this battle
- Just keep healing/attack at this form, it will end in a few rounds, you can
just keep defending too... it will eventually end.
Once you have delivered the final blow to Zophar there will be a cut scene
ending, one of the most touching in the game, Hopefully you enjoyed playing
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue, one of the, if not the, best game ever created.
ENJOY THE ENDING! MAKE SURE YOU DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE EPILOGUE!

IX. General FAQ
=============================================================================
Q: You mentioned about Angel Rings, what happen if I don't have it?
A: If you have no Angel Rings, just give them something that increase Power or
speed.
Q: I have only 1 Angel Ring, who should I give it to?
A: Give either to Hiro, Ronfar, or Lemina
Q: I entered Zophar's Keep, but my level isn't high enough yet, what can I do?
A: If you are around level 48 or so, you can level up in the there.
Q: When I am leveling up in Zophar's Keep, I used up my Star Lights/Silver Lights
what can I do now? I am low in MP, and the boss fight is coming up
A: You are out of luck. However, you can always try to steal starlights from
'The Mirror' Monsters
Q: I still can't beat him, what should I do?
A: Try switching jobs between Jean and Lemina. Have Jean use WDP every round. Then
have Lemina use Catastrophe every round.
