Please don't take anything from this guide without my authirization.
This guide talks about Psychic Force 2' Might, who is the shuujinkou
(main character) of the game. His appearance was in Psychic Force 2012
for the Dreamcast, which is a prequel to the true sequel of 1996's
Psychic Force for the PSX.
Now the true sequel (Psychic Force 2) are out on the PSX. Although the
PS quality are a little low than DC, but the PS Psychic Force 2 has a
lot of features to cover its downside. Especially the Psy-Expand mode,
which allows your chosen psychiccer to perform another elemental moves
beside your psychiccer's own element.
First note that I assume that the reader of this guide (that's you!) is
one of the people that in these criteria :
- an average Psychic Force player; mostly since the first Psychic
Force.
- a begginer player; mostly since Psychic Force 2012.
- a true Psychic Force otaku; not only having all Psychic Force games
(which includes Psychic Force Puzlle Taisen, a Puzzle-Bobble game
with casts from Psychic Force), but also has any Psychic Force
merchandise (if any!) and owned or watched the Psychic Force OVA
(a two-volume anime video, based on the first Psychic Force).
Profile Of Might, Master Of Lightning
-------------------------------------
Name : Might
Group : Nothing
Type : Lightweight
Gender : Male
Age : 16
Seiyuu : Midorikawa Hikaru
Job : Psychiccer Hunter
Story : A young psychiccer hunter, who lives to hunt other existing
psychiccers for their lives. He is proud of it, although he
has no reason why he done it in the first place.
He has a relationship with a cute girl named Patricia Myars
(Patty), who Might will only listen to.
Might's Chou Nouryoku Waza List
------------------------------
This section talks about Might's list of chou nouryoku waza (special
ability moves;term for special attacks in the world of Psychic Force).
I made the list short with the move name, along with the directions,
consumed psycho gauge percentage, and the damage cost on the bracket.
Also some comments regarding the move are engraved below.
- Erekutorigaa/Electrigger (S or --o --o + S;psy.30%;200)
Might' strong lightning blast. You can change the direction by hold
down S and release during the Electrigger.
- Magunetto Ankaa/Magnet Anchor (180 Degree + L;psy.30%;0)
This move can be followed into a combo or by another move to put a
decent damage to your opponent, since the move is only used to pull
Might's opponent right into him. Best accompanied by Lightning Sword.
- Raitoningu Haundo/Lightning Hound (o-- --o + L;psy.40%;200)
Might charge into his opponent while surrounded by lightning. You can
can the direction of the Lightning Hound by input any direction on
the D-Pad with the L button. Not only the direction will change, but
the damage will increase for another 200. The only kickback is you'll
use another 40% psycho gauge for it. Great for slaming your opponent
to the corner.
- Raitoningu Soodo/Lightning Sword (180 Degree + S;psy.40%;300)
Might's 'ikazuchi no tsurugi'/'sword of lightning'. Fast with a good
damage. If you wanna be a good master of Might, then Lightning Sword
is your key, beside the Magnet Anchor.
- Sandaa Bureiku/Thunder Break (o-- --o --o + L;psy.45%;0)
The purpose of the move is to power up the damage of Might's special
ability moves, as lightning sparks all over his body.
If Might inflicts any damage, the Thunder Break is gone.
- Ekisukyuushion/Excursion (o-- --o --o + S;psy.60%;340)
Might's own super special ability move. It would be good in combo if
your can get your timing right.

Might's Attack Damage List
--------------------------
This section talks about Might's list of damage while performing normal
attacks, including defensive ones in the world of Psychic Force.
To make it short, here's the list of attacks with the damage cost in
the bracket. Note that I made this list based on Joseph 'Jacel' Ong's
Psychic Force 2 Guide, so please give him the proper credit.

- Dash L Attack (40)

- Dash S Attack (110)

Might On Psy-Expand
-------------------
Psy-Expand Mode is a special customisation game mode for Psychic Force
in general and home-made for PSX Psychic Force 2. Like Capcom' Street
Fighter Zero 3's World Tour Mode, your chosen psychiccer will raise his
/her experience through fighting with another psychiccers through some
regulations like:
- normal attacks only
- special ability attacks only
- win by time limit
- no barrier guard
- no psycho charge
- sudden death.
- etc.
Not only your psychiccer will gain experience level ups, but also has a
chance to receive/learn some other moves from other psychiccers who you
just fought. However, those moves received in levels depends on your
performance fighting the other psychiccers. For more psychic pleasure,
Taito has made limits to two command moves, which is:
- Psy-Expand Move 1 (--o --o + G + L)
- Psy-Expand Move 2 (o-- | --o + G + L)
o
As this guide talks about Might, I suggest to get Burn's moves like
Exploder, Burning Trail and Burst End. Also Regina's Spark Rain, if
you want a similar move to Burn's Exploder. I myself receive Exploder
and Burning Trail both on level B, which is the high class level (A is
the highest).
I know, I know that I also like Burn Griffith from the original Psychic
Force and there's plenty of moves from other psychiccers that some of
them are considered your favorite, even your personal top class move.
So you can send me your favorite moves that suitable or much cool for
Might to learn via email, if you like. Also with the reason why Might
should use the move.
End Of Guide
------------
I like to end this guide and hopefully this guide helps you playing Psychic
Force 2's Might. I know this guide may look incomplete, but at least this
will adds your guide collections.
Future updates (if any):
- expand the contents of Might On Psy-Expand section with your suggested
moves.
- put up more sections, if you have any ideas.
Future plans (if any):
- made another Psychic Force guide, but this time it will be for Burn.
Of course, with a Psy-Expand section. It will be cool for Burn to learn
Might's Lightning Sword for a change. The hardest part is finding info
on the seiyuu who roles for him in this game.
- this is nothing to do with the guide, but has to do with Psychic Force ...
I WANNA GET THE OVAS!!! (in Nihongo, of course!)
Here's the list of psychiccers who inspired me building the guide:
- Tanaka Kenichirou-san
The author of the only guide for Psychic
Force. In other words, give Tanaka-san a big psychiccer credit.
- Herbert Quiong for his first guide on Psychic Force 2.
- Miracle Peanut for another Psychic Force 2 guide,
which is quite informative. He also put the seiyuus whose voicing in the
game, too.
- Joseph 'Jacel' Ong for another yet most complete
Psychic Force 2 guide. He is also made the Psychic Force 2012 for the DC
and the arcade, so please give him another psychiccer credit.
- The guys in Animanga for one helluva time.
And the list of websites for you to surf into:
- Taito The true home of Psychic Force.
- Psychic Force Shrine
This site provides best Psychic Force coverage in English, which also the
place for the international fans of Psychic Force series.
- GameFAQs The home of many resourceful guides on all the
game titles, including some import titles.
