Welcome to Lagoon. Lagoon is a real-time RPG (like
Zelda: A Link to the past). In the game, you play
Nasir, Hero of the Light. The game difficulty
is normal, but, because of the short attack range
of Nasir, the game can be pretty hard and even
frustrating some times. There arn't many riddles
in the game, so the game shouldn't be that hard to
complete. If you spot any errors in this faq,
please e-mail me at: slam@tentacle.nl
Have fun!
In order to destroy the many monsters, Nasir will have
to find several different swords in his quest. Below is
a list of all the swords, with their strenght and their
locations.
To increase his defensive power even more, Nasir can
equip a shield as well. Although he cannot use the
shield to block enemy projectiles, is comes in very
handy.

and talk to the Major inside.
man come in telling there's a problem.
- At the cave a man has reported there are demons
in the cave. Also there is someone named Giles in
the cave.
- Go to the Cleric at the Worship Site.
- Now go to the Major's House and collect 300 gold to
buy a weapon.
- Do so at the Armor shop and go to the cave

- Chests : 4
- Items : - Healing Pot
- Monsters : - Blue Slimes (1st Floor)
- Blue Goblins (1st Floor/2nd)
- Skeletal Warriors (2nd Floor)
- Boss : Samson
- Go to the third floor. there you'll encounter
Giles. He's healing potion won't cure injured, so
you must give him you're healing potion. Howerver,
the him enough to let him go to Atland all by
himself. Therefor, you must go with him. Lead
him back to Atland.
-------------------------------------------------------
*RETURN TO ATLAND*
- Back in Atland, Giles will leave you and he will
tell to go to the old lady faith healer in town.
She knows something about the locked door in the
Gold Cave.
- Go to the place of faith (Giles will be standing
next to it). The lady will tell you about a demon
named Samson, who lives behind that door. She'll
give you the key.
- Go to the Gold Cave and open the locked door on the
main floor. You'll have to fight Samson now.
Boss : Samson
The first boss of Lagoon is Samson, the Cyclops.
My advice is to train until you have level 6, then
you can easily beat him. Once Samson is defeated, you
gain the red crystal and entrance to the Elf Field.
- Talk to the elder at the entrance. He'll tell you
about Philips Castle. You need three tablets to undo
the spell on the castle.
- Go to the major's house. Accept his request to save
the people trapped inside Philips Castle and you'll
get a Movable Cape and an Earth Staff, now you can
use magic yeah!!
- To get the first tablet talk to Thor, the blue guy
standing left of the elderly elf. He'll give it to
you. He'll also join you to search for the other
tablets.
- Return to the Elf Field. You and Thor will search
alone. Kill a few enemies and find Thor. He'll have
found the second tablet.
Now head northeast to Philips Castle.
- Walk to the castle (Jump across the broken bridge).
Before the second broken bridge, go left and jump
across the cliff. Open the chest and you'll get the
final tablet.
- Return to the elder at Voloh.
- Back at Voloh he will give you the spell to open the
door of Philips Castle. Thor will leave you now
saying he has other things to do. Now you must save
the people inside Philips Castle...
- Monsters : - Black Knights (1st Floor)
- Golden Knights (1st Floor)
- Will 'o Wisps (B1)
- Dark Monks (B1)
- Ghosts (2nd Floor)
- Demon Clouds (2nd Floor)
- Boss : Natule
- When you arrive at the dungeon cell, select the
movable cape and talk to the three towns people.
They'll give you the key to the 2nd floor.
Boss : Natelu
The boss of this level is a chimera called Natelu.
The best way to beat him is to train until you have
level 12+. Then you should be able to beat him.
When you've destroyed Natelu, you'll receive the
Silver Sword.
- Go back to the castle entrance of Philips Castle
and enter the door to the right (it should be open
now). Go through the teleporter. You'll arrive in
the Dwarf Dessert.
- Talk to the Elder in the center of town. He will
tell you about a Sword named 'Moon Blade'. You will
need it. The Moon Blade is made of Moon Stone, which
can be found at the Dwarf Cave to the East.
Unfortunately, the Cave is blocked by two large
boulders. To aid you in your quest, the Elder gives
you an ancient book and the Earth Staff.
- Talk to Thor. He lost his pendant. Promise you'll
look for it and return to Voloh. Talk to the guy
standing northeast of the elder at the entrance.
He'll give you Thor's pendant.
- Return the pendant to Thor.
- When you give the pendant back to him, he'll reward
you with a Powerfull Mirror. With it, you can smash
large boulders and thus enter the Dwarf Cave to
search for the Moon Stone.
- Go to Denegul. Mathias will be waiting for you. He
tells you, Felicia is kidnapped by Ella and that
she's being kept in Dwarf Cave.
- Show the Moon Stone to the old man northeast of
town. He'll be so happy to see a Moon Stone, that
he will give you a Freezing Pot.
- Go back to the Dwarf Cave and use the Freezing Pot
at the lava flow. Now you can walk across the lava.
You'll encounter Felicia and Ella and are warned
not to go on, but to return to Denegul. Continue
instead.
NOTE: Save your game before going into the next
room.
Boss : Eardon
In the next room, you'll have to fight the giant
Living Stone Eardon. He very tough, but if you have
a level of 20+, you should be able to beat him.
- After Eardon is dead, the door to Hobbit Valley
will be opened.
- Go to the church and give the Mint to the cleric.
Now you will be able to go through the window to the
right.
- Talk to each Spirit in the Basement. From one spirit
you'll receive the Star Staff.
- When you talk to the last spirit, you will be told
about Duma, who lives in Siegfried Castle. The
spirit will give you Duma's Key.
- Go back to Siegfried Castle and unlock the door in
the Center.
Boss : Duma
When you enter the room, Duma will be waiting for you.
Make sure you've saved your game before entering.
Although he looks easy to beat, he's quite tough. His
most powerful attack is smashing with his hands. Make
sure you've got level 23+, and use the Power Ring
wisely. You should be able to beat him that way.
- After Duma is dead, you'll receive the Water
Crystal and the Key of Siegfried. Use the key to
open the door to the northwest.
- On the second floor, you will encounter Thor and
Battler. A small conversation will take place and
the two will leave. Go through the teleporter to
Gnome Tree.
- Talk to the Elder gnome. You'll get the Angel's
Bell. With it, you can summon Nymphs.
- Now, talk to the girl northeast of town. She'll
give you Truth Fire. Use it on the gnome, who lies
al the time. With Truth Fire, he'll have to tell
the truth. He'll give you the Fur Mantle. With
it, you can enter the Ice Cave. First go to the
Gnome Plain.
The boss of this level is Thimale. In order to beat
him, you must fisrt destroy the 6 small capsules. When
they are dead, the large snow ball will be opened and
Thimale will be revealed. Hit it to kill it. Make sure
you don't lose too much life when hitting the capsules.
- When Thimale is gone, you will receive the Life
Ball.
- Walk to the Nymph Spring and use the Angel's Bell
at the end to call the nymphs. Three nymphs will
appear. They will give you the Moon Staff and
blow you away to Phantom Hill, where Ella is.
- Go up Phantom Hill, and find Ella's Room (a small
hole in the ground). Save your game and go in.
Boss : Ella
Ella is not that tough, but she isn't easy to beat.
The best way, in my opinion, to beat her is to fight
her until she has about 40% of her life bar left.
The point is, that she teleports faster as she loses
life. So is you kill her too much, you won't be able
to hit her anymore. When you has about 40% life
left, equip the Power Ring and when you get the
chance, kill her fast!!
- Once Ella is dead, stairs will appear outside,
and you'll be able to carry on. End the end of
the stairs go right and jump over the cliff.
You'll encounter Zerah. A small Conversation will
take place, and when Zerah is about to attack you,
Mathias appears. The two will battle each other
and at the end both will lie on the ground. Talk
to Zerah. He will escape. Talk to Mathias. He
will tell you the truth about you and Thor...
- After his story, Mathias will give you the
Thunder Crystal and with his last breath, he
will blow you to Clouds.
- First of all, find the Silence Terrace. Stand in
the Moonlight and use the Moon Stone. It will be
turned into the Moon Blade, the strongest sword
in the game.
- Now go to the 3rd floor and find the Statue. then
use the Statue on the 4th floor to free the
princess. Behind the mirror lie the stairs to the
5th floor.
- On the 5th floor you must kill Battler.
Boss : Battler
At the beginning of the battle, Battler summons two
demons. Don't waste you're time beating them, but focus
yourself on Battler instead. Equip the Power Ring, and
you'll have him dead in no time.
- When Battler is no more, go north. Jump on the
island. There is a small church. Talk to the cleric
inside and go down the stairs outside.
- Find the door leading to the bosses and save your
game. It's the last time you can save your game
before the ending theme. You have to beat all the
bosses without saving.
Boss #1: Evil Spirit (First time)
In the room, you will have to fight the Evil Spirit
for the first time. At first it's a beast with four
eyes. Just hit the eyes, until it changes in a Blue
Gargoyle. Is will be good thing to equip the Curing
Ring now. Wen you've beaten it a door will open to
the north. Enter it.
Boss #2: Zerah, the Warlock
In the next room, Zerah and Thor will be waiting
for you. Thor will disappear and Zerah will change
himself into a Giant Werewolf. However, he's very
easy and does little damage (note that he hasn't
got a life bar, so he's not a real boss). When
you've beaten Zerah, Thor appears once again.
Boss #3: Thor
The fist time, you have to fight Thor in his normal
form. When his life bar is empty, he will change
into a giant phoenix. The best way to beat him is
to equip the Curing Ring and stand exactly where
his moving rythm ends. He will hit you, but because
you do more damage, you will eventually win the
battle. When you've beaten Thor, he will change
back into his normal form. Talk to him. He will
give you his pendant. Then his soul goes into the
pendant. Now it's up to you to beat the Evil Spirit
alone...
Go back to the room where the Evil Spirit was.
Final Boss : Evil Spirit (2nd time)
When you enter the room, the blue Gargoyle will
be turned red and will rise again. The only
difference now is, that it has the abiliy to
teleport. Just use the same tactic as before and
you should be able to beat him.
When you've beaten the Demon, you can enjoy the
Ending theme...
