I. Introduction
This is my Tales of Destiny Debug Guide. If you haven't noticed yet, the
code is available at CMGSCCC's GameShark site. It's strange that this code
was out for a pretty long time but nobody made a debug guide for it. So I've
decided to make one.
=======================================================================
II. The Debug Code
It's at http://www.cmgsccc.com/psx/tod/misc.shtml, look for the Debug Menu
code, it's #9 on the list, but why bother since I've put the code down here.
The code itself is easier to input than any other Debug Room code. It's:
801B3B28 0004
The code says it's made by KingEdgar0, so I'll... give him credit for
that.
I think it's only for the NTSC version, but I don't know because I haven't
got any PAL version or whatever, so I presume it's for the NTSC version.

III. The Debug Room - Main
When you enter the debug room, you'll be in a plain area with a stone
'border', with three exits leading to three places in the world map.
1) West
2) East
3) South
You'll see on the upper corner the characters you can get in the game:
Rutee Leon Garr Bruiser
Mary Chelsea Karyl Philia
The order may not be right, but who cares? Well, talk to any one of them
and they'll say:
'I'm (name of character). Will (name of character) join your party?'
Yes
No
Of course, choosing yes will result in that character joining your party.
Note that EVERY single character will have 3000 HP and 300 TP and starts off
at Lv 1.
Oh and Lilith isn't choosable. Anybody knows how to get Lilith through the
debug menu? Lilith is playable with a GameShark. The code is 301CE762 000A.
This puts her in the 2nd slot in the in-active roster. Again, thanks to
CMGSCCC for that, or whoever made the code.
At the lower part of the room is Arche that glows blue whenever you talk
to her. The first time around she'll give you all the items, including
dummied out ones like Deck Brush and Sephira. The second time and around
she'll tell you that the music you're listening to is number 60.
There are also 8 stone bush babies leading to different locations
depending on what location you choose to go. Also in the lower part is Rick
Cartman, Eric Cartman's evil twin ^_^

IV. The Debug Room - Features
If you press R1, you'll see a textbox like this:
____________________
STAGE 56
GROUP 402
____________________
This is what I will call the 'Battle Test' menu. You can choose the battle
background and what group of enemies you want to battle. With this code, you
can even fight the last boss and other boss enemies, even ones in the Tower
of Druaga.
This is the 'Map Test' menu. However, most places you'll either be stuck
in a wall or something. '1314' is the Debug menu room. The first few numbers
are the world map, and different versions of it.
Also if you press X and then R2 you'll get to view the Event menu. This is
basically viewing all the cutscenes in the game, such as flying the Draconis
to dycroft, etc.
Press X and then R1 and you'll get to choose 1 out of 3 minigames. There's
the Rock-Paper-Scissors one, the 'space invaders' type game with
reinforcements, then the space invaders type game without reinforcements (in
Moreau).
That's all about the features in the Debug room that I know of.

V. Stage Background and Enemy Groups
This will be probably the biggest or 2nd biggest section of this guide
when it's completed. There are 54 (because you can't select 00 and 01)
stages in the game and 400 groups (because you can't select 00 and 01
again). It'll also play the corresponding battle tune when you fight them
(like boss battle themes when battling bosses). Nighttime means that the
background is darker (when the aerosphere or whatever is gathering up in the
sky).

=======================================================================
VI. Battle Features
This is unique. If you open the menu while in battle in the debug room (or
any other place, provided that you had the debug code active) you can access
a secret option that has no icon. It's beside item, and is called Debug.
There are a few things here:
In no particular order
Parameter - Lets you mess around with the enemy or your statistics like
level, HP, MP, power etc.
Don't Look Atari / Look Atari - Look Atari results you with a blue
translucent square around you.
Exp Normal / Exp x20 - Nuff said.
To Field - Ends the fight
Move Enemy / Stop Enemy - Stop Enemy results in the enemy sitting there
looking stupid
=======================================================================
VII. Interesting Things
Leon vs. Leon
-Get Leon in your party.
-Talk to Arche, and get all the items.
-Equip Leon with the chanelling.
-Get in a battle, kill off Stahn.
-Move Leon into S. Auto mode (or manual)
-Press R1, move the Group value to 32
