And now I have finally changed my mind, I will no more longer call this Game
Bust-A-Move, but Bust A Move instead! o_O;;
VERSION 7.1a
- Added text here and there.
VERSION 7.1
- More stuff about Bust A Groove. I'm still decidin' whether to put down the

I'll probably hold this Guide off for a few days in order to complete my pop'n
music Guide. ^^;;
VERSION 7.0
- Just bought Bust A Groove for my sister for her 16th Birthday on November 13th!
So I added a whole bunch of stuff pertainin' to Bust A Groove. And added the

VERSION 6.0

Also corrected my grammar! =P Also found a new thing about Hiro-Kun, GO READ

VERSION 5.1
- Found the Website containin' the drawn posters! =P
VERSION 5.0
- Found two new merchantdises! ^^ Changed avex group's name to avex network now

miscellaneous text here and there . . .
VERSION 4.2
- Just saw the music video to "aozora no knife"! So I added some stuff about it
and I found the avex trax Official Website, so I added that to my Links! ^^
Also added some stuff about Heat that I forgot to put down from reading "Heat

section 11.0!
VERSION 3.2
- Added a new section about the Arcade Game and added a note by DJ Heat at the end

VERSION 2.0a
- Changed Capoeira's BAM Theme title.
VERSION 2.0
- I forgot to add some things about some characters, and added miscellaneous text
here and there! =P Oh yeah, just recently watched my video tape I recorded on
Bust A Groove, so I added some more DYN?s [Did You Notice?s].
VERSION 1.0a
- Had to change this Guide around! I saw some mistakes in it! =P
VERSION 1.0
- Created the "Did You Notice? When You're Bustin' Moves With The Groove" Guide!
1.1 - ABOUT THIS GUIDE
Welcome to my Guide on one of my favorite Video Games of all time, Bust A Move
[called Bust A Groove in the U.S.] and Dance Summit! ^^;; I JUST LOVE THESE GAMES TO
DEATH! While playing this Game against my sister, I will usually point things out to her
that she never noticed. Since my "Did You Notice?" Guide for LUNAR was quite popular, I
thought that I should do one for Bust A Move/Groove and Dance Summit too. But this time,
with a different approach: I talk about every single thing I can find!!! Mainly those
someone would normally not realize while playing the Game. Most of the things in here
either came from common sense, personal knowledge, and from my friends or family. ^^;;
Well, I hope you love this Guide and let me know your feedbacks on it! So please
feel free to e-mail me any questions, flames, praises, comments, or anything at all to
enigmaopoeia@hotmail.com. Thank you and happy reading! ^^;;
WARNING: This Guide is strictly for entertainment purposes only! So laugh at
your own risk! =P
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
2.0 - DID YOU NOTICE? ABOUT . . .?:
These are just miscellaneous compiliations of what I have noticed and heard while
playin' BAM/BAG or DS thus you can mainly call the information below "useless, but very fun
to note/read"! ^^;; I'm just typing these just so that Fans of Bust A Move/Groove and
Dance Summit can have a good laugh and learn something new like how I did. =P
If you would like to submit something, please e-mail me at enigmaopoeia@hotmail.com
along with your DYN?s. But if you would like to state that I posted something wrong,
please state why along with proof to my e-mail address? Thanks for understanding, and read
on! And do note that the DYN?s here are in no particular order. Gomen ne~! ^^;;
2.1 - THE SERIES
What can we notice about each Bust A Move/Groove series?
2.1a - BUST A GROOVE
- The genre of BAG is Rhythm Action or Dancing Simulation.
- The original title of Bust A Groove was Bust A Move: Dance And Rhythm Action, but it had
to be change due to copyright purposes because there is already another Game, by Taito,
called Bust-A-Move which stars Bub and Bob the Dinosaurs. By the way, didya know that
Taito's Bust-A-Move Game was originally titled Puzzle Bobble!?!? o.O;;
- There are no OSTs whatsoever for BAG or BAG2 nor would there ever be one! =( I think it
would be kewl to actually have their OSTs! I will purchase it just to listen to the
extended versions of Shorty's and Kitty-N's BAG Themes! =P
- The nickname of Bust A Groove is BAG or BaG.
- This Game is called both Bust A Groove and Bust-A-Groove, but it's mainly Bust A Groove.
The title, Bust-A-Groove, is what I use in reference to the European version. ^^;;
2.1b - BUST A MOVE
- If you have the OSTs of BAM as well as have CDDB installed into your multimedia players
on your computer! You can actually put the OST into your computer and you will see that
the Tracks are already titled for ya!
- The genre of BAM is Rhythm Action or Dancing Simulation.
- The official Artist of the BAM series is Hideyuki Tanaka!
- The ATTACKS are officially called Jammers.
- The nickname of Bust A Move is BAM or BaM.
- This Game is called both Bust A Move and Bust-A-Move, but mainly it's Bust A Move.
- On the opening screen in which it shows the companies who produced BAM, there is one
company in which their name is in complete Japanese and it has a panda next to it. The
translation of the company's name is Frame Graphics. =P
- In order to figure out whether or not you are winning the match, watch where the camera
is panning toward. If you are the main focus of the camera, then you are winning! If
the camera shows both opponents, then it's an even match! But if the camera pans toward
the opponent, then you are losing! Then again, if you are performing Solos, to figure
out whose winning, listen very carefully for the crowd. [It's better to hear them if
there is no BGM! ^^;; ] If you hear the crowd cheering when you are performing your
Solo, then you are winning! But if the crowd is cheering for the opponent when they are
doing their Solo, then you are losing!
- Both of the DJs in BAM and BAM2 keep sayin' something about Stone Cold such as DJ Kickin'
says, "Bustin' a Stone Cold" while DJ Dangerous says, "Bust a Stone Cold move". Could
this be reference to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin? Hmm . . .
- BAM was the father of Dancing Simulations! It was the second Game ever to be created
under the genre, Rhythm Action. [PaRappa The Rapper was the first!]
2.1c - DANCE SUMMIT
- The genre of DS is Rhythm Action or Dancing Simulation.
- The official Artist of the DS series is Hideyuki Tanaka!
- DS was the first of the BAM series to introduce the grouping of four Dancers into a Team.
- The nickname of Dance Summit is DS or ds.
2.2 - THE AMERICAN PLAYSTATION GAMES
Let's learn all we can from the American Games:
2.2a - AMERICAN BUST A GROOVE
- The picture on your Memory Card would be of a Chibi-Heat bustin' a groove!
- You will always encounter Capoeira on Stage 6 and Robo-Z on Stage 12.
- BAG has a different font, layout, and interface screens than BAM!
- BAG does not include an auto-load or an auto-save feature! =(
- There is no way possible to access into Robo-Z's Stage on 2player Game. The only way
means is by using a cheat! x_X;; [Do note that in BAM, you CAN access Robo-Z's Stage!]
- About those ATTACK2 you see, there is NO WAY IN LIFE YOU CAN USE THEM! They are just
there for show in the Dance View! I checked out "ENIX World"'s Website and it only
stated the characters can only perform one Jammer thus making ATTACK2 "just for show".
Doesn't that sucks? =(
- The sound effect Wind was originally called Kaze in BAM.
- The sound effect Chick was originally called Yolk in BAM.
- The highest Level you can MAX is Level 8.
- BAG has a set dance pattern such as in Strike's dance commands are the same as Heat's or
Pinky's or Kelly's, etc. They are only different during the Solos.
- The DJ is DJ Kickin'.
- There are High Scoring Moves you can perform during the Solos in order to get your
Enthusiasm Gauge maxed out. Read Henry LaPierre's High Scoring Moves Guide in GameFAQs
[http://www.gamefaqs.com] on what each character's High Scoring Move is! ^^;;
- In the Sony of America and in the official BAG Website, it states BAG has "Exciting Play
Modes - Single Player, Two Player, Dance Edit and Practice Mode". Now let me say this:
YOU CANNOT PLAY A GAME ON DANCE EDIT!!! >=( Kinda makes ya wonder if they ever play the
Game themselves?! -_-;;
- In the official BAG Website, you will see screenshots from BAM in there!!!
- The mysterious powers are called GROOVE-A-TRON or "dance energy groove-tron".
- BAG has a option in which you can choose to play the Game in English or in Spanish! The
default is English if you don't select anything. ^^;;
- BAG is censored! NOTHING IS SAFE FROM THOSE DAMNED CENSORS!!! >=(
- BAG is CONSTANTLY gettin' compared to PaRappa The Rapper even though the two are of
different genres: One is a Dancing Simulation while the other is a Rapping Simulation!
Well, I can't blame them since BAG was the second Rhythm Action Game produced and PaRappa
was first. -_-;;
- The statues of the characters [Robo-Z, Pinky, Shorty, Heat, Hamm, and Kelly] in the BAG
manual doesn't have their names engraved on it like it was in BAM! HOW WEIRD!!!
- In BAG, it has clips of DJ Kickin' speaking in English, Spanish, German, French, and
Italian! ^^;;
- On the back of the CD, it states that BAG is for EVERYONE, yet it has a warning for mild
language. WHAT MILD LANGUAGE!?!? x_X;; Hmm . . . I'm thinkin' of what mild language
they could be talking about: Probably the use of "Niggas" in Pinky's Theme or they could
be talkin' about Hamm's Theme in which you can hear the word "N~" in it? I DUNNO!
- The opening phrase DJ Kickin' says is different in BAM.
- Only Shorty's, Hamm's, and Hiro's endings has been altered.
- The companies of BAG are 989 Studios and ENIX of Japan.
- The box cover of BAG is okay though I've seen better covers. It features 1P Hiro and 1P
Frida both on the cover in which it looks like they are holding each other's hands over
a white, violet, and pink background.
- The CD cover of BAG is very much like the cover itself except it has a printed scan of
Frida and Hiro on it [like the box cover] over a pinkish background.
- The character statues you would see in the BAG manual looks similar to a Ray Catena
billboard I saw! x_X;;
- The characters of BAG are: Heat, Frida, Strike, Hamm, Shorty, Kelly, Gas-O, Pinky,
Kitty-N, Hiro, Robo-Z, Capoeira, Burger-Dog, and Columbo.
- The nickname of Bust A Groove is BAG or BaG, but many people think the nickname is
Busta1.
- You have the option to choose between Instrumental or Vocal modes. Not bad featue for
those who cannot stand the vocals of the Singers. ^^;;
- In order to use a secret code called STAGE SKIP, you must access every secret characters
as well as Robo-Z and Capoeira. Then anytime during a Stage under 1player Game mode,
press and hold L2 and then SELECT. You should be able to skip that Stage! ^^;;
2.2b - AMERICAN BUST A GROOVE 2
- In the BAG2 ad, the screenshots below are from BAM2!
- The companies of BAG2 are ENIX of America and ENIX of Japan.
- The DJs are DJ Dangerous and DJ Mix Deadly.
- The characters of BAG2 are: Heat, Comet, Shorty, Strike, Tsutomu, CAPOEIRA, Bi-O,
Hiro, Kitty-N, Kelly, Columbo, Robo-Z Gold, Pander, Sushi Boy, McLoad, Michael Doi,
ChiChi&Sally, and Hustle Kong.
- The CD cover of BAG2 has a green background with Heat's, Shorty's, Kelly's, and Strike's
feet on the center.
- Didya know if someone is playing 1player game, you CAN go against them and actually STEAL
their Game from them?! Wonder how? Just plug in the second controller and press START
at any time while that person is in a Stage! Then you will see the words "SECOND SHAKER"
on the screen, and just choose your character [The first Player cannot change their
character!] as you go up against them for their Game! ^^;; You will go against them in
that Stage they were recently playing on! [Sorry, you can't cut into someone's Game when
they are going against Robo-Z Gold or Pander! =( ] And whoever wins the match takes
control of the rest of the Game or until the other Player wants to steal back their Game
or vice versa! =P
- The mysterious powers are called "Groove-tron".
- BAG2 does include an auto-save feature! ^^;;
- The picture on your Memory Card would be of Capoeira's heads!
- BAG2 removed the dance move in which the Dancer will clap their hands. [You will
normally see this on the eighth beat in BAM/BAG].
- BAG2 takes place a year after BAM.
- If you are going to play a 1player game, be aware that the majority of your opponents
will be Strike, Kitty-N, Kelly, and Robo-Z Gold! You will rarely go against Shorty,
Tsutomu, and Bi-O! =(
- The nickname of Bust A Groove 2 is BAG2 or BaG2, but many people think the nickname is
Busta2.
- There is no Instrumental Mode in Bust A Groove 2! [Well, maybe that is because some of
the Themes are already Instrumental such as Robo-Z Gold's and Bi-O's!] Which is both
good AND bad considering on how you look at it! =P
- [From Reo-kun] About the little system of bars at the central bottom of the screen: A
bar is added whenever you get a COOL!, CHILLIN!, or FREEZE!. Once all of the bars are
aligned, some eye candy will be put into the Stage such as cars jumpin' over the Dancers
and etc.! ^^;;
- [From Reo-kun] You can now reflect your opponent's attacks by pressing the last command
in the JUST beat in which that means you have to attack back EXACTLY on the fourth beat
in order to reflect. [I remember having a battle with my sister in which we just kept
reflecting each other's attacks for about eight times in a row! ^^;; Of course, I
usually win (and even my sis admits it!)! I'm a Jammer Queen. ^^;; ]
- BAG2 is Dual Shock compatiable, but it's really nothing special about it . . .
- The company who produces the Themes in BAG2 is east west.
- BAG2 removes the two sets of dance commands in which you don't have as much freedom as to
choose which dance move you will follow. It can be for better or for worse, but I
personally find it for the better! ^^;;
- BAG2 has three modes of difficulties which has been greatly improved from BAG: In EASY
mode: In the dance command, you only have to use the directional pad, and you have to
press the Circle button to ATTACK, and you have to press the Cross button to DODGE. In
NORMAL mode: In the dance command, you have to use the directional pad as well as the
Cross and Circle buttons, and you have to press the R1 button to ATTACK, and you have to
press the R1 button to DODGE. And in MIX difficulty: In the dance command, you have to
use the directional pad as well as the Cross, Circle, Triangle, and Square buttons, and
you have to press the R1 button to ATTACK, and you have to press the R1 button to DODGE.
I personally LOVE this~! ^^;; MIX mode is SO awesome~!
- BAG2 improved in which every Dancer has their own unique dance patterns, unlike in BAG
which had a set dance pattern. =(
- The BEST feature about BAG2, to me, is you can steal your opponent's Solos by using your
Jammer on them before the Solo starts!
- BAG2 introducted new characters who replaced the old characters in BAG: Frida was
replaced by her younger sister, Comet; Gas-O was replaced by his father, Bi-O; Hamm was
replaced by the child prodigy, Tsutomu; Robo-Z was replaced by it's upgraded form, Robo-Z
Gold; Pinky was replaced by the "unique" Pander; and Burger-Dog just became a background
character! =P And they also added more new characters such as Sushi Boy, Michael Doi,
ChiChi&Sally, Hustle Kong, and McLoad!
- In BAG2, some of the characters has two sets of lip movements.
- There are two characters in BAG2 who has _REALLY_ cheap moves as in they are SO SIMPLE
to input even in MIX difficulty IMHO!!! They are: McLoad and Sushi Boy! >=(
- Many people prefer BAG over BAG2 because BAG2's Themes wasn't produced by avex trax [as
well as there is no Frida or Gas-O in BAG2], but I think they're both great Games despite
whoever produced the Themes as well as whoever is in it! ^^;;
- BAG2 has a set pattern dance matches for 1player Game. Depending on who is your first
opponent determines what secret character you would go against on Stage 5, that is if you
have achieved Level 5 and keep gettin' Fever Time's.
- The highest Level you can MAX is Level 5.
- On the STAGE SELECT screen, the pattern of the Stages does not follow the patterns of the
characters! o_O;;
- In order to use a secret code called STAGE SKIP, you must access every secret characters
as well as Robo-Z Gold and Pander. Then anytime during a Stage under 1player Game mode,
press and hold L2 and SELECT, and then press START. You should be able to skip that
Stage! ^^;;
- In order to achieve COOL when doing Level 1 moves, you must perform a JUST on the eighth
beat.
- The box cover of BAG2 has a violettish pinwheel background with 1P Strike, 1P Shorty and
Columbo, and 1P Heat on the cover.
- There are no endings in BAG2, they were cut out. =(
- The once yellow arrows of BAM2 are now colored in BAG2 according to their colored button
counterparts.
- There is now CG VERSUS graphics whenever you play a 2player Game.
- The colored arrows and the CG VS. screens all came from the BAM2 CO-OP.
2.3 - THE EUROPEAN PAL PLAYSTATION GAMES
Let's learn all we can from the European Games:
2.3a - EUROPEAN BUST-A-GROOVE: DANCE & RHYTHM ACTION
- The companies of B-A-G are Sony Computer Entertainment Europe [SCEE] and ENIX of Japan.
- The European Bust-A-Groove is officially titled Bust-A-Groove: Dance & Rhythm Action.
- The mysterious powers are called DANCE ENERGY GROOVE-A-TRON.
- In Sony Of Europe's Website, it states B-A-G is really titled Bust-A-Move 2 in Japan!
Here's the description from SOE: "London, September 1998 -- Sony Computer Entertainment
Europe has announces that it has recently signed Bust-A-Groove (known as Bust-A-Move 2 in
the Japanese NTSC market) and will be releasing the title across PAL territories in
November 1998". Are they gonna say that B-A-G2 is BAM3 in Japan??? o_O;;
- B-A-G allows more content to be put in there that the American BAG censored such as
underground parties, cigarettes, Strippers, and Diplomatic fathers! =P
- B-A-G has minor censors in it, so I'm not THAT angry at it! =P
- B-A-G is a PAL version.
- My nickname for the European Bust-A-Groove is B-A-G or BAG PAL.
- The box cover of B-A-G is a LOT KEWLER than the American BAG one, IMHO. It features 1P
Frida, 1P Hiro, and 1P Strike inside of a lighted tunnel.
- The CD cover of B-A-G is very kewl, it features a close-up of 1P Strike behind a black
background with red and blue stripes. VERY NICE, IMHO~! ^^;;
- The characters of B-A-G are: Heat, Frida, Strike, Hamm, Shorty, Kelly, Gas-O, Pinky,
Kitty-N, Hiro, Robo-Z, Capoeira, Burger-Dog, and Columbo.
- In the Italian version, the DANCE ENERGY GROOVETRON is known as the ENERGY OF DANCE
RHYTHM-A-TRON.
2.4 - THE JAPANESE PLAYSTATION AND PLAYSTATION 2 GAMES
Let's learn all we can from the Japanese Games:
2.4a - BUST A MOVE: DANCE & RHYTHM ACTION
- The company of BAM is ENIX of Japan.
- The sound effect, Kaze, is Japanese for Wind.
- You will always encounter Capoeira on Stage 6 and Robo-Z on Stage 12.
- About those ATTACK2 you see, there is NO WAY IN LIFE YOU CAN USE THEM! They are just
there for show in the Dance View! I checked out "ENIX World" Website and it only stated
the characters can only perform one Jammer thus making ATTACK2 "just for show". Doesn't
that sucks? =(
- BAM has a set dance pattern such as in Strike's dance commands are the same as Heat's or
Pinky's or Kelly's, etc. They are only different during the Solos.
- [From Reo-kun] BAM has a more dynamic sound system then BAM2. There are a lot more of an
echo that can be heard, especially in Stages like Pinky's.
- The highest Level you can MAX is Level 8.
- The picture on your Memory Card would be of a Chibi-Heat bustin' a move!
- There are High Scoring Moves you can perform during the Solo Parts in order to get your
Dancing Gauge maxed out. Read Henry LaPierre's High Scoring Moves Guide in GameFAQs
[http://www.gamefaqs.com] on what each character's High Scoring Move is! ^^;;
- Bust A Move is a common phrase as to whenever you want to go and show off your new dance
moves, you will say, "I am bustin' a move!" And DJ Heat told me that: "Also, bust a
move is a term used in Breakdancing battles, usually just a time where people just step
in the middle and do one thing, usually an awesome-looking freeze, then steps out, hence
the term 'bust a move'." KEWL! ^^;;
- BAM does not include an auto-load or an auto-save feature! =(
- The character statues you would see in the BAM manual looks similar to a Ray Catena
billboard I saw! x_X;;
- The official title of Bust A Move is Bust A Move: Dance & Rhythm Action.
- The nickname of Bust A Move: Dance And Rhythm Action is BAM or BaM, but many people
think the nickname is Busta1!
- People often think that Bust A Move is really titled Busta-Move or Bustamove! x_X;;
- The mysterious powers are called "DANCE ENERGY GROOVETRON".
- Bust A Move is Basuto A Muubu in Japanese.
- The company who produces the Themes in BAM is avex trax.
- BAM has a different font, layout, and interface screens than BAG!
- There is no option to choose a Spanish version in BAM.
- The DJ is DJ Kickin'.
- The box cover of BAM is a white background with 1P minature statues of the characters
both on the front and back of the box. Very simple and very chic.
- The CD cover of BAM has a green background with a picture of 1P Frida and 1P Heat in
red. Pretty nice considering that it's similar to the BAM OST cover.
- The characters of BAM are: Heat, Frida, Strike, Hamm, Shorty, Kelly, Gas-O, Pinky,
Kitty-N, Hiro, Robo-Z, Capoeira, Burger-Dog, and Columbo.
- You have the option to choose between Instrumental or Vocal modes. Not bad featue for
those who cannot stand the vocals of the Singers. ^^;;
- In order to use a secret code called STAGE SKIP, you must access every secret characters
as well as Robo-Z and Capoeira. Then anytime during a Stage under 1player Game mode,
press and hold L2 and then SELECT. You should be able to skip that Stage! ^^;;
- To open up Dance View, you must finish the game as any character in any difficulty.
- To skip Fever Time!s, you have to press the Cross button.
- To open up Capoeira, you must finish the game as any character on NORMAL difficulty.
- To open up Robo-Z, you must finish the game as any character on HARD difficulty.
- To open up Burger-Dog, you must finish the game as Hamm on HARD difficulty.
- To open up Columbo, you must finish the game as Shorty on HARD difficulty.
2.4b - BUST A MOVE: DANCE & RHYTHM ACTION (LIMITED EDITION)
- The company of BAMLE is ENIX of Japan.
- My nickname for Bust A Move: Dance & Rhythm Action (Limited Edition) is BAMLE.
- This CD features an interview with hatsumi morinaga, the Singer of Kitty-N's BAM Theme
"aozora no knife (Bust A Move Edit)".
- The box cover of BAM is a white background with minature statues of the characters both
on the front and back of the box. Very simple and very chic.
- The CD cover of BAM has a green background with a picture of Frida and Heat in red.
- The characters of BAMLE are: Heat, Frida, Strike, Hamm, Shorty, Kelly, Gas-O, Pinky,
Kitty-N, Hiro, Robo-Z, Capoeira, Burger-Dog, and Columbo.
2.4c - BUST A MOVE 2: DANCE TENGOKU MIX
- The company of BAM2 is ENIX of Japan.
- There are two box covers for BAM2. One in which has a green background along with a
green jewel case with 1P Shorty on it, and the other has a red background along with a
red jewel case with 1P Strike on it. [Do note that the Strike cover of BAM2 is VERY
rare while the Shorty one is common! ^^;; ]
- The CD cover of BAM has a green background with a picture of Frida and Heat in red.
- The DJ is DJ Dangerous.
- The mysterious powers are called "Groovetron".
- BAM2 does include an auto-save feature! ^^;;
- The picture on your Memory Card would be of Capoeira's heads!
- BAM2 removed the dance move in which the Dancer will clap their hands. [You will
normally see this on the eighth beat in BAM/BAG].
- BAM2 takes place a year after BAM.
- The word Tengoku is Japanese for Heaven, so that means that Bust A Move 2: Dance Tengoku
MIX is basically translated as Bust A Move 2: Dance Heaven MIX in English, but do note
that it is still officially titled Bust A Move 2: Dance Tengoku MIX!
- "Dancing Heroes" is a show you can watch on BTV! =P
- Bust A Move 2: Dance Tengoku Mix is really titled Basuto A Muubu 2 Dansu Tengoku MIX.
- If you are going to play a 1player game, be aware that the majority of your opponents
will be Strike, Kitty-N, Kelly, and Robo-Z Gold! You will rarely go against Shorty,
Tsutomu, and Bi-O! =(
- The nickname of Bust A Move 2: Dance Tengoku Mix is BAM2 or BaM2, but many people think
the nickname is Busta2.
- There is no Instrumental Mode in Bust A Move 2! [Well, maybe that is because some of the
Themes are already Instrumental such as Robo-Z Gold's and Bi-O's!] Which is both good
AND bad considering on how you look at it! =P
- BAM2 has the new country code and it is Mod Chip protected.
- [From Reo-kun] About the little system of bars at the central bottom of the screen: A
bar is added whenever you get a COOL!, CHILLIN!, or FREEZE!. Once all of the bars are
aligned, some eye candy will be put into the Stage such as cars jumpin' over the Dancers
and etc.! ^^;;
- You really need no knowledge of Japanese in order to play BAM2 because almost 90% of it
is in English!!! The only things in Japanese/Romanji are the title of Shorty's Theme,
the instruction manual, and the subtitles on the characters' endings. But don't worry
about the characters endings being in Japanese because there's an English voice-over
during them! ^^;;
- BAM2 is Dual Shock compatiable, but it's really nothing special about it . . .
- The company who produces the Themes in BAM2 is east west.
- BAM2 removes the two sets of dance commands in which you don't have as much freedom as to
choose which dance move you will follow. It can be for better or for worse, but I
personally find it for the better! ^^;;
- BAM2 has three modes of difficulties which has been greatly improved from BAM: In EASY
mode: In the dance command, you only have to use the directional pad, and you have to
press the Circle button to ATTACK, and you have to press the Cross button to DODGE. In
NORMAL mode: In the dance command, you have to use the directional pad as well as the
Cross and Circle buttons, and you have to press the R1 button to ATTACK, and you have to
press the R1 button to DODGE.
- BAM2 improved in which every Dancer has their own unique dance patterns, unlike in BAM
which had a set dance pattern. =(
- The BEST feature about BAM2, to me, is you can steal your opponent's Solos by using your
Jammer on them before the Solo starts!
- BAM2 introducted new characters who replaced the old characters in BAM: Frida was
replaced by her younger sister, Comet; Gas-O was replaced by his father, Bi-O; Hamm was
replaced by the child prodigy, Tsutomu; Robo-Z was replaced by it's upgraded form, Robo-Z
Gold; Pinky was replaced by the "unique" Pander; and Burger-Dog just became a background
character! =P And they also added more new characters such as Sushi Boy, Michael Doi,
ChiChi&Sally, Hustle Kong, and McLoad!
- In BAM2, some of the characters has two sets of lip movements.
- There are two characters in BAM2 who has _REALLY_ cheap moves as in they are SO SIMPLE
to input even in MIX difficulty IMHO!!! They are: McLoad and Sushi Boy! >=(
- Many people prefer BAM over BAM2 because BAM2's Themes wasn't produced by avex trax [as
well as there is no Frida or Gas-O in BAM2], but I think they're both great Games despite
whoever produced the Themes as well as whoever is in it! ^^;;
- BAM2 has a set pattern dance matches for 1player Game. Depending on who is your first
opponent determines what secret character you would go against on Stage 5, that is if you
have achieved Level 5 and keep gettin' Fever Time's.
- The highest Level you can MAX is Level 5.
- On the STAGE SELECT screen, the pattern of the Stages does not follow the patterns of the
characters! o_O;;
- In order to use a secret code called STAGE SKIP, you must access every secret characters
as well as Robo-Z Gold and Pander. Then anytime during a Stage under 1player Game mode,
press and hold L2 and SELECT, and then press START. You should be able to skip that
Stage! ^^;;
- In order to achieve COOL when doing Level 1 moves, you must perform a JUST on the eighth
beat.
- In the Beta version of BAM2, the Jammers wasn't symbolized as blue gems on the bottom of
the score bar, but rather they were symbolized as a circle with the word "Jm" written on
it in yellow.
- The characters of BAM2 are: Heat, Comet, Shorty, Strike, Tsutomu, Capoeira, Bi-O, Hiro,
Kitty-N, Kelly, Columbo, Robo-Z Gold, Pander, Sushi Boy, McLoad, Michael Doi, Hustle
Kong, and ChiChi&Sally.
- There is an official dance pad to BAM2, but it is ultra rare.
- [From DJ Rie] In America and Europe, the rare BAM2 cover is the the one with Strike on
it, and the common one is the one with Shorty on it. But in the Philippines, the rare
(Very, VERY rare) BAM2 cover is the one with Shorty on it and the common one is the one
with Strike on it! o_O;;
2.4d - DANCE SUMMIT 2001 BUST A MOVE
- The company of DS2K1BAM is ENIX of Japan.
- My nickname for dance summit 2001 Bust A Move is DS2K1BAM.
- The characters of DS2K1BAM are: SCHOOL MATES [Olive, Betty, Banbi, Candy], DATA BE BOPS
[3D, Suzuki, G-Pan, Honda], CUSU-CUSU [Cindy, Kei, Sahara, Me], FLOWER DANCING TEAM
[Marguertie, Jasmine, Cherry, Saffron], GALAXY4 [Orion, Miranda, Planet, Apollo], DISCOS

exclusive controller.
2.5 - THE ARCADE CO-OP GAMES
Let's learn all we can from these coin-operated Games:
2.5a - AMERICAN BUST A GROOVE
- The companies of BAG CO-OP are NAMCO, ATLUS, and ENIX of Japan.
- The nickname for the American BAG Arcade Game is BAG CO-OP.
- [From DJ Heat] I've heard that the reason the BAG Arcade machines had been recalled is
because . . . people kept falling off . . . hehe, pretty funny. Here's a rebuttal to DJ
Heat from Kitty-N: One point you [She meant DJ Heat] mentioned was that people were
falling off. That is not true. It is a regular machine with the up, down, left, right,
Jammer, and the Dance buttons. The down button is actually a pedal near your foot that
you step on. No one has been falling off unles you can't stand up right..lol. ^^;;
- [From Kitty-N] Unfortunately, Wonderpark in Milpitas (near where I live in Fremont, CA),
has taken out BAG. I spoke with the Manager there and he said that it was because it was
on test. However, I have not seen it back since 6 or so months ago...=(
- [From Kitty-N] In the Arcade, the commands for the high scoring solos are changed. For
example..in the PS version, Shorty's high scoring command is down, down, down, and
circle. In the Arcade, they changed it to down, down, right, and Dance button. Shorty's
new command was Kitty-N's one for the PS...as for Kitty's new command, I never was able
to find out...=( Some characters' high scoring commands are incredibly simple...such as
Shorty's...while some are incredibly long..like Gas-O's..(left, down, right, up, up,
right, down, and Dance button)...whew!
- [From Kitty-N] You can NOT dodge attacks. Whoever hit the Jammer button first gets the
attack, the Player who did not beat the other person to it can NOT dodge it...=\...that
makes it kind of cheap since you can attack like 4-5 times a Stage. Really ruins the
game.
2.5b - JAPANESE BUST A MOVE: DANCE & RHYTHM ACTION
- On the Premiere of BAM CO-OP, posters of a drawn Heat and Frida were given away!
- There are codes for BAM CO-OP in which you can input a code which allows you to go to
MANIAC MODE to SUPER MANIAC MODE! x_X;; Damn!
- The companies of BAM CO-OP is NAMCO, ATLUS, and ENIX of Japan.
- The nickname for the Japanese BAM Arcade Game is BAM CO-OP.
2.5c - JAPANESE BUST A MOVE 2: DANCE TENGOKU MIX
Now printing . . .

- The box cover of BAM OST has a silver background with the heads of the 1P characters.
- The CD cover of BAM OST has a green background with white writings.
- The nickname for the Bust A Move Original Sound Track is BAM OST.
- [From Esqlima] If you are playing Monster Farm 2 [Known as Monster Rancher 2 in the
U.S.], and you inserted the BAM OST into it. Your monster would be number 009, the name
is Sepiarieevru, and the Sabu would he Hamu. [I don't own MF2, so I don't know!]
2.6b - BUST A MOVE 2: DANCE TENGOKU MIX ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK
- There are two known BAM2 OSTs! One is the official by east west while the other is a

- The Producers of the BAM2 OST is east west.

- The box cover of BAM2 OST has a blue background with 1P Shorty on it. [It's like the
BAM2 cover, but in blue with a normal jewel case.]

flames around the center.

2.7 - THE BUST A MOVE/GROOVE CHARACTERS
UNDER HEAVY CONSTRUCTION~!!!!!!!!!!!!!
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
3.0 - CUT IT OUT!:
I hate it when people censor stuff because it's either too racy, difficult, or
unexplainable to the "clean, white World" [no pun intended] we live in today. -_-;; Here
are all of the censorships, Americanizations, changes, additions, and etc. that I have
found. But if you want to read my complaints on them, please goto Section 4.0. ^^;; :
3.1 - AMERICAN BUST A GROOVE
- The original title, Bust A Move, had to be changed to Bust A Groove due to copyright
purposes.

- Kitty-N's occupation was changed.
- They made DJ Kickin' say different stuff from the original version to the American for
the introduction and character select screens.
- The difficulty is much easier than the Japanese version.
- New logo design.
- The assignment of the controller is different.
- You have to wait till you see the Opening Movie to skip it unlike the Japanese version
in which you can skip the companies logos.
3.2 - AMERICAN BUST A GROOVE 2
- There are now two DJs [DJ Mix Deadly and DJ Dangerous] in which BAM2 only had one [DJ
Dangerous].
- The original title, Bust A Move 2, had to be changed to Bust A Groove 2 due to copyright
purposes.
- Kitty-N's, Shorty's, and Kelly's Themes was dubbed into English.
- Comet's Theme was resung.
- Instead of yellow arrows, BAG2 had them like so: Green up arrow, red right arrow, blue
down arrow, and pink left arrow. These colorful arrows were originally in BAM2 CO-OP.
- The main screen shows the words "Bust A Groove 2".
- There are no slideshow endings with James Suneoka. -_-;;
- Heat, Strike, Shorty, Tsutomu, and Michael Doi has new Voice Actors.
- Strike's profile stated that he is serving time for a crime he did not commit was false,
in BAM2 -- Strike was always a bad boy.
- Strike does not want the "groove-tron powers to take over society", he originally wanted
the Groovetron in BAM2 so that he would never goto jail again.
- Shorty's father was always a Diplomat. He didn't turned from DJ to Diplomat.
- Tsutomu doesn't "loses control" when he gets upset: He originally pisses in his pants
whenever he gets ticked! =P
- Hiro never moved out of his 6-Tatami Apartment.
- New CG 2player Game loading screens! ^^;; A+ in my book!
- In BAM2, it wasn't stated that Kitty-N didn't liked to be called Kitty Nakajima unlike in
BAG2. o_O;;
- In the Game, the Zombie name is Bi-O whereelse in the BAG2 instruction manual, his name
is Bio.
- The character's Astrological Signs are different than those from BAM2 such as Heat is
really an Aries, not a Libra. -_-;;
- In BAM2, it never stated that Capoeirans has individuals personalities unlike what they
stated in BAG2.
- Kelly isn't an "Investment Banker" or an "Executive for a foreign capital trading firm".
She is, and always would be a Secretary.
- Hiro is NOT a Computer Programmer, he was always Unemployed.
- Strike is dance style is NOT Hip Hop, it's Gangster Groove.

Old School 70's Disco.

- "Hello Kitty-N" from BAM2 is now "Hello Kitty" in BAG2.
- The assignment of the controller is different.
- In BAM2, 2P Comet dons on bunny ears whereelse in BAG2, Alternative Comet wears a
bonnet. Why was that change made? You can still see the black cottontail! o_O;;
- You have to wait till you see the Opening Movie to skip it unlike the Japanese version
in which you can skip the companies logos.
- The opening line said by DJ Dangerous, "Yo, Gangster, get ready to gang bang!" was
changed to DJ Mix Deadly saying, "Hip Hoppin' on the dance floor!"
- The translation of the character's phrases is different such as BAM2 Heat says "Arigatou
yo kattana!" which translates to "You should be thanking me!" whereelse BAG2 Heat says,
"You just got whupped!" Though it is along the same line, it is still incorrect.
- In Comet's BAM2 Stage: Sake and Beer was taken out of the sign and instead replaced
by Anago and Ika. o_O;;

- Kitty-N's Theme was changed to a Remix of it's own.
- The difficulty is much easier than the Japanese version.
- New logo design.
- The assignment of the controller is different.
Okay, it took me just to watch my sister play Star Ocean: The Second Story in
order to compel me to type this . . . ^^;; What I do is explain the censorships in the
Bust A Groove series and give out two examples, a conclusion, and an arguement from
American Video Games in which I find these censorships to be stupid! I would also talk
about other stuff worth mentioning!:
4.1 - HIRO SMOKING A CIGARETTE
Okay, we all know Hiro is known for smokin' a cigarette. But in the Bust A Groove
series, unfortunately, 989 Studios and ENIX of America tried their "best" to remove his
cigarette [They forgot to remove the cigarette in the Opening FMV of both BAG and BAG2!
And 989 Studios also forgot to remove the ashtray (FULL OF CIGARETTES!) in his ending.]
But why is it wrong for Hiro to smoke when these American Video Games show their characters
smoking a cigarette!?!
4.1a - ERNEST FROM STAR OCEAN: THE SECOND STORY
Now to first clear myself, Star Ocean: The Second Story is rated E for EVERYONE,
just like Bust A Groove! So now that's off my chest, I can continue . . . There is this
character in which his name is Ernest Raviede, and if you check him out very carefully, he
is smoking a cigarette! x_X;; So, it's okay for a person to smoke in a RPG, but not in a
Rhythm Action Game? Doesn't make much sense to me!
4.1b - CID FROM FINAL FANTASY VII
You just see this comin', don't cha? Another reason why I think it's stupid for
characters in RPGs to smoke a cigarette and not in Rhythm Action Games! But this is not a
very good example since FFVII has a TEEN rating, and we all know that there's stuff in TEEN
rating Games that are allowed that an EVERYONE rating cannot. =(
4.1c - CONCLUSION
Really, it's stupid to censor Hiro's cigarette. Is 989 Studios and ENIX of America
trying to make Bust A Groove a cancer-free Game? Or are they afraid of the health of the
Dancers that goes up against Hiro? Or are they afraid that kids might think they too will
be as kewl as Hiro if they stick a cigarette in their mouth? Either way, I just don't see
why this has to be censored! Kids watch television every day, and think of the chances the
kids would have to at least see one a person smoking a cigarette! x_X;; You will often
see this in cartoons in which you will see characters like Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes
puffing on a cigar! x_O;; That just ain't right! Still, this is such a stupid
censorship hands down . . .
4.1d - ARGUEMENT
Yes, people might understand that kids are influenced these days by the things they
see and if they happened to see Hiro smoking a cigarette, they just might do as well in
order to be like the Natural Playboy themselves. Since they censored the cigarette, kids
wouldn't be pressured or thought to even smoke a cigarette. Because of censorships, kids
would not think they would be intelligent if they smoked a cigarette like Dr. Briefs in
Dragon Ball Z nor would they think they would be popular if they smoked like Hiro.
4.2 - HAMM AND HIS PINK LIPS
Most people didn't notice, but in BAM, Hamm's lips were outlined in pink! But when
Hamm came to BAG, his pink lips vanished *almost* completely!!! [There are times in which
you can still see the pink outline.] x_X;; I can see as why Hamm's lips needs to be
unpronounced because of racism, but don't we see these kind of pink outlined lips in
cartoons nowadays?? x_X;;
4.2a - BUGS BUNNY AND ELMER FUDD FROM LOONEY TUNES
I don't see why the Americans have to cut that out because if you ever watch those
old Bugs Bunny cartoons, you will usually see Bugs Bunny stick a piece of dynamite into
Elmer Fudd's lips, and when the dynamite exploded -- it will show Elmer with dark skin and
_PRONOUNCED_ LIPS! So it's okay to do that in cartoons, but not in Video Games?!? DOESN'T
MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME!!! >=(
4.2b - CHIEF PUDDLE FROM UM JAMMER LAMMY
We all are familiar with the Rapping canine Firefighter in Um Jammer Lammy, Chief
Puddle. Did you ever notice that he has pronounced lips like Hamm??? Hmm, I cannot see
why can Um Jammer Lammy have this and not Bust A Groove! o_O;; They both are rated E and
are Rhythm Action Games! Gah, this makes no sense!!!
4.2c - CONCLUSION
Hamm's lips are somewhat of an understanding censorship because there will be a lot
of controversy over it one in which is racism! And then we'll probably never ever will see
the lights of Bust A Groove 2 coming to the U.S.! ^^;; So I'm not completely *angry* with
Hamm's lips, but still if cartoons and other Rhythm Action Games can do it -- why can't
BAG as well? >=(
4.2d - ARGUEMENT
What is one of the most controversial topics in this World today? It's racism, and
the last thing we need is another complaint! If Hamm's lips was kept pronounced, it would
appeared to others that Bust A Groove is a racist Game, a Game only for KKK's or for other
racists to enjoy!
4.3 - THE MISTAKE OF AGING
Question by Kitt D: "Why does everyone say the American ages are screwed up in
BAG2?! (My note: There was incorrect information on the ENIX of America Website!)
America hasn't seen the game since 1998!! So if someone has BAG and all of a sudden after
two years they age only one year!!"
4.3a - CONCLUSION
My Answer: See, here's the deal. Here are the ages [of those who returned] in
Bust A Groove:
Heat - 19 years old.
Strike - 21 years old.
Shorty - 12 years old.
Kelly - 23 years old.
Hiro - 20 years old.
Kitty-N - 16 years old.
And here are their Bust A Groove 2 ages as stated on the Website [It was corrected
in the BAG2 instruction manual though!]:
Heat - 20 years old. He aged one year!
Strike - 22 years old. He aged one year!
Shorty - 14 years old. She aged two years!
Kelly - 24 years old. She aged one year!
Hiro - 21 years old. He aged one year!
Kitty-N - 18 years old. She aged two years!
It doesn't make much sense! So if someone argues that: "Hey, maybe it did went
through a one year cycle, but since Kitty-N's and Shorty's Birthdays are earlier than
everyone's, that is why they aged two instead of one." OK, I understood that, but it's not
true. As shown on Hiro's computer in BAG, it was dated on: October 15, 1999 -- which
probably means that is the date of when everyone danced against each other in BAG. So if
BAG started on October 15, 1999 and in BAG2 [for say] it *also* started on October 15,
2000, it wouldn't make as much sense as to why would everyone aged in different years!
Here is everyone's Signs which tells us a little of their Birthdates:
Heat - September 22 - October 22.
Strike - February 19 - March 20.
Shorty - July 23 - August 22.
Kelly - May 22 - June 21.
Hiro - March 21 - April 20.
Kitty-N - August 23 - September 21.
So if BAG started on October 15, 1999 [Around Heat's Birthday], so that must've
mean that Heat aged one year. Then Strike aged one year, then Hiro for one year, then
Kelly for one year, then Shorty for one year, and then Kitty-N for one year. Then it goes
back to BAG2 in which it started on October 15, 2000 -- then Heat would've aged two years
while everyone else one. See, ENIX of America doesn't have a good point. While it's a
minor mistake, for people like me, it's a good laugh.
4.4 - WOULD THE REAL KITTY-N PLEASE STAND UP?
Remember that all that glitters is not gold all the time? The same goes for
Kitty-N, people praise her to the max, but they don't know her REAL story! Below is the
real story of Kitty-N in which I compiled from different sources, this may not be the
official information, but it's SO accurate -- it's scary! o_O;; Read away:
4.4a - THE TRUE STORY OF KITTY-N
You think you know everything there is to Kitty-N, right? But you are only hearing
HALF of her story! This is her full story for the JAPANESE version that I typed up myself,
the American version of Kitty-N is very screwed up by making her something that she wasn't:
When Kitty Nakajima was 16 years old, she worked as a Photographer for the TV
program, "LOVE LOVE SOLDIER MIRACLE 5", who secretly wanted a break to become an Idol. So
now that she acquired the DANCE ENERGY GROOVETRON powers [as shown in the ending of BAM],
she actually joined "MIRACLE 5" and became a Love Love Soldier, what she had always wanted
to be! On screen, the Love Love Soldiers are known as Justice Fighters, they right wrongs.
They make sure criminals pay, along with special effects and Martial Arts. ^^;; Since
that is only your TV role, once you're off screen -- you go onto your normal life until
tomorrow when you air another episode. It seems that Kitty-N didn't. On and off screen,
she was still a Love Love Soldier. She took this position SERIOUSLY!
A year passed and Kitty-N grew more and more popular! Thus it led her, at 17 years
old Ex-Love Love Soldier, to leave "MIRACLE 5" and started her own career! She created her
own TV program in which she was the Star of it called "The New Love Love Soldier:
Kitty-N!". Kitty-N's popularity grew more as day grows by, but not without bumps along the
way. One of the original Love Love Soldiers, Rumiko, sent her death threats because once
she left "LOVE LOVE SOLDIER MIRACLE 5" -- their ratings dropped. And also, Kitty-N has
fallen in love with her Dance Instructor, Michael Doi, who turned out to be Homosexual.
The life of Kitty-N is a hard one indeed. =P
Well, I hope that answers everything. ^^;;
4.5 - WHY I THINK KITTY-N AND HIRO ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER!
Everyone say many things about who does Kitty-N or Hiro look good with. But you
have to admit that they are really perfect for each other! Don't believe me? Then read
on, you might be a believer! ^^;; :
4.5a - WHY I THINK SO
So this comes to why I think that Kitty-N would look good with Hiro:
Think about it, Kitty-N fell in love with Michael Doi. So by that knowledge, we
know what kind of men she likes or looks for in a boyfriend, here are eight qualities I
picked out of Michael Doi:
- He is androgynous and acts the part; he is girly.
- He likes to dress flashy; he wear sequins.
- He has a semi-deep voice with a somewhat feminine pitch.
- He has gel back hair; he takes care of his hair.
- He has a hairy chest.
- He likes men.
- He is a Dance Instructor.
- He is skinny.
Now let's compare. What does Hiro have that Michael Doi also has?:
- He is androgynous and acts the part; he is girly.
Hiro is one of the few androgynous men in the BAM series. It is also shown because
he has long eyelashes!
- He likes to dress flashy; he wear sequins.
Hiro wears a sequined shirt, he is flashy like Doi!
- He has a semi-deep voice with a somewhat feminine pitch.
Ever listen to Hiro? His voice is pretty girly. Kawaii! ^^;;
- He has gel back hair; he takes care of his hair.
Hiro is KNOWN to take care of his hair! [A lot, actually!]
- He has a hairy chest.
Doi and Hiro both have hairy chests!
- He is skinny.
Hiro is as skinny as they come. ^^;;
Think about it, six out of eight -- that's not bad! Hiro is the Hetereosexual
version of Michael Doi! If Kitty-N can't get Doi, she might as well look at Hiro. He
would probably give her much more happiness than Michael Doi. ^^;; No offense toward
Doi, but he should be datin' that Bodybuilder while Kitty-N should date Hiro.
'Nuff said.
An arguement would be why Hiro with Kitty-N when Hiro is shy as heck around women?
Well, here goes: Kitty-N and Hiro both share similar traits: Snobbish, coinceited, and
in love with themselves. But Hiro is shy and Kitty-N is loud. Since Kitty-N is the
attention getter, she would notice that Hiro won't give any attention to her because he is
shy, so she would do all in her Love Love power to get Hiro to notice her! It's a match
made in Dance Summit Tengoku! =P [I'm lame, I know!]

6.4a - "HAPPY HEART IN THE SUNSHINE"
Oh, I'm missing you and wanna see you every day!
Deep in my heart, I'm longing for your love!
I need to feel the warmth of you!
I wanna be in the sunshine! Shine on me with your love!
Soft breezes, tickling me. I can't stand being alone anymore!
I can't stay in this little town, hurry! I've got to get out of this place!
Please, send me your signal of love!
Your shine of love within me, I wanna feel your love!
Yes, my rambling heart's gonna get it!
'Cause I know there should be someone who truly loves me!
Comes with melodies. A brand new day like you never knew!
I should be the first one, the very first one to get in!
Soft breezes, tickling me. I can't stand being alone anymore!
I can't stay in this little town, hurry! I've got to get out of this place!
So, I'm missing you, I wanna see you every day!
Deep in my heart, I know I'm longing for your love!
I need to feel the warmth of you.
I wanna be in the sunshine! Shine on me with your love!
Please, send me your signal of love!
The sign of loving me, I wanna feel your love!
Yes, my rambling heart's gonna get it!
'Cause I know there should be someone who truly loves me!
I am searching everyday! I am searching everyday! I am searching everyday!

6.4c - "Moon Light Party"
(Clap, clap, clap your hands! Clap, clap!)
Gathering the memories from the missing recollections,
Take my hand and hold on tight, and we'll be as one.
The everlasting aching pain that has been clinging all 'bout you.
Cast to the side, and just one now! And look up to the sky!
Moon Light Party! Dance until the end!
Moon Light Party! Under the shiny Moon!
Moon Light Party! Till we fall asleep.
Moon Light Party! Night Party! Come on, clap your hands!
Seems like there's no hope, but look straight on the road ahead!
Just let your body swing along with the rhythm of the wind!
I finally got away from this side of the boring city!
So throw away everything and just look up to the sky!
Moon Light Party! Let's just all get high!
Moon Light Party! Right up into the sky!
Moon Light Party! Until we are through!
Moon Light Party! Night Party! Come on, clap your hands!
(Clap, clap, clap your hands! Clap, clap!

7.0 - BAM2 ENDINGS
Since the endings were cut out in BAG2, here are the endings to BAM2 that you have
missed. I only list the dialogue spoken by James Suneoka, DJ Dangerous, the Narrator, and
etc. I hope they are put into a good format for easier reading! ^^;; I fully describe
everyone's endings, so I hope ya like it!:
7.1 - STRIKE'S ENDING
NARRATOR "FAMILY TV PROGRAM! DANCING HEROES!"
DJ DANGEROUS "And now for your entertainment pleasure, introducing the host of hosts --
JAMES SUNEOKA --!"
[Trumpets started to blare as the curtains opened revealing a man, James Suneoka. He put
on a quick show to his Fans. The crowd cheers as James Suneoka came onto the Stage.]
JAMES SUNEOKA "Hey, hey, what did Snow White say to Pinocchio?"
[There was silence.]
JAMES SUNEOKA *hugging himself* "Lie, lie till your nose grow no more!"
[The crowd started booing as an octopus fell down from the sky and onto James Suneoka's
head.]
JAMES SUNEOKA "Peace be with all living creatures! And now today's special Guest!"
[The crowd cheers as Strike started to come onto the stage as he waved to the audience
and the screen showed Strike's background.]
[The picture that came on the screen was a picture of Strike's mugshot from prison complete
with his tag ID, R643-Z24, as well as his serial number, 09431126 64489957.]
NARRATOR "Strike has been gangbanging with Gangsters from birth. Two years ago, he
was nabbed by the boys in blue, with some help from a snitch that has been
running with him."
[The screen showed a picture of Strike wearing a tight black- and white-striped tanktop
while handling chopsticks.]
NARRATOR "He turned over a new leaf while in the house of correction. Diligently,
stuffing chopsticks into plastic bags everyday, he was out on good
behavior. Having shaved fifteen years off his sentence, all his Gangster
homeboys came to pick him up, but what did they all think he did?"
[The screen showed a picture of Strike with a microphone stand in his hand as he was
attacking the media.]
NARRATOR "He turned to Music. While he was behind bars, he and his prison buddies
formed a band called 'Notorious' whose funky jams shot into the linelight
in less than two months."
[The screen showed a picture of Strike with his face up on the signs of New York Times
Square as well as on the cover of Billboard magazine.]
NARRATOR "Their debut Single soared to the top of the charts in no time. But that
didn't mattered to 'Notorious'."
[The screen showed a picture of Strike along with his Gang was shown on the screen as they
were robbing a Bank. Strike was dancing happily on the counter as money too was dancing
around him.]
NARRATOR "They'll always be Gangsters to the bone. In between recording and live
sessions, they rob Banks of their tissue paper. Dancing to the rhythm of
their guns!"
[The screen showed a picture of Strike aiming his handgun to a Bankteller, the same one in
his BAM2/BAG2 Stage.]
NARRATOR "They are the street Kings, messing with their own lives and the lives of
people who get in their way!"
[The screen showed a picture of the handgun being fired in which it turned out to be a
toygun as a signboard appeared from it in which it stated in Japanese: Hazure, which
translates to "Loser". Then the screen showed a picture of Strike laughing omniously.]
NARRATOR "Living up to the name, 'Notorious'!"
[Then it showed back to the Dancing Heroes Stage.]
JAMES SUNEOKA *act like he's crying* "Oh, you're breaking my heart!"
STRIKE *took out a bazooka from his back, and fired it at James Suneoka!!!*
JAMES SUNEOKA *observing himself as a giant hole was in his stomach*
STRIKE *was speechless*
JAMES SUNEOKA "Oh, look up! You messed up my new threads, man."
[Then the camera pan toward James Suneoka.]
JAMES SUNEOKA "And it's time for the colorful Strike to get down and nasty. Ya'll ready
to BUST A MOVE!!"
[The crowd cheers as Strike dance on stage while the credits roll as well as James Suneoka
dancing to the beat of the background Ending Theme "Bust A Groove". As the credits finish
rolling, Strike then posed as the camera pan toward him.]
JAMES SUNEOKA *waves to the audience* "That's all from DANCING HEROES! Seeya next week!
Peace!"
STRIKE *waves, but is embarassed to be near James Suneoka*
[The crowd kept cheering as the cameras then shut off.]

8.5 - BUST A MOVE ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK
There are actually programs inside of this thing, go and see them for yourselves!
Too bad they're all in Japanese though. ^^;; So far from what I found, it has: An AVEX
AUDIO player, an InterQ Go!Go! thingy, and an avex network information program. Neat! =P
8.6 - DANCE SUMMIT 2001 BUST A MOVE
Now printing . . .
If you love Bust A Move/Groove and Dance Summit, you will certainly love their
merchantdises! I so far compose this list of almost all of the goodies from the Bust A
Move/Groove series! If there is an * before the merchantdise listed, that means that my
sister and I personally own it. ^^;;
If you happen to know of any BAM/BAG and/or DS merchantdise that I did not list,
please e-mail me at enigmaopoeia@hotmail.com as well as sendin' me proof such as an URL
address, a scan, or a screenshot. And if you created something, give me a picture of it
so I can post it up here! [NOTE: I won't call any Fan Arts or Fan Fictions as
merchantdises! A merchantdise (to me) is something that is ON SALE, and *usually* Fan
Arts or Fan Fictions are not for sale, only Doujinshis are! =P ]

11.4 - CREDITS
First of all, thanks to all of the companies who made Bust A Move and Dance Summit
happen! This is one of my favorite Video Games of all times! ^^;; Thanks to NAMCO and
ATLUS for releasing Bust A Move/Groove to the Arcades, too bad I never saw it. =( Thanks
to ASCII for creating a very kewl controller for dance summit 2001! And also thanks to 989
Studios and ENIX of America for at least releasing Bust A Groove and Bust A Groove 2 --
even though you have to censor it for the American audience, but at least you brought this
great game to the U.S.! =P Also I would love to thank both avex trax and east west for
composing the most wonderful Themes I've ever heard! Danceable too~! =P And I would
personally like to thank Hideyuki Tanaka for being one of the hardest working Artists out
there in this World! I admire you so much! Hopefully Bust A Move/Groove and Dance Summit
would never die, and I'll make sure that won't happen! ^^;;
You know I would love to thank all of my friends as well as my younger sister, but
Hell, I'm not gonna make this Guide as long as it already is. You know I love you guys,
and thanks for being kewl friends~! ^^;;
Thanks to all of the people who are reading this Guide whether they like it or not,
yes -- that even means you! =P Also thanks to those I forgot to mention! Sorry! ^^;;
