The ranking system works on how many points you have. The more kills you
get the more points you have and the higher ranking you achieve, letting
you get better weapons and ships.
You will get 10 points for each Thunderbowl you completed,
and a one-off cash reward for going up a rank.

Objectives: W is White on Radar
B is Blue on Radar
Enemies: R is Red on Radar
Y is Yellow on Radar
Allies: G is Green on Radar

Notes: Pu is Purple on Radar
Pay - 8,000 cr (money)
Bounty - 100 cr a ship
Bonus - 1,000 cr for every surviving cargo stomper
Objectives-
1 - Protect cargo stomper
2 - Stay with convoy
3 - Expect attack from air and suface
Enemies-

R - Pirate Interceptor
R - Pirate Tanks

G - Cargo Stomper - Protect

Notes-
There are always 2 Fighters coming at the convoy, and 2 or 3 times
interceptors attack. Always in pairs.
2 attacks by tanks. One at ½ way and one just before the Depot.
2.Covert Insertion
Empiret Naval Security
Pay - 15,000 cr
Objectives-
1 - Stay in canyons to avoid SAADS(Automated Defences System)
2 - Locate and destroy all Shield Generators
3 - Await orbital strike on Rebel Base
Enemies-
R - SAADS
R - Rebel Tanks
R - Rebel Fighter
Buildings-
N/A - Rebel Base
Y - Shield Generators
Notes-
Take out the Tanks as fast as you can. If left alone for 30 sec or so
you will be just about dead. There are not a lot of Fighters but before
the 1st silt you will be attacked by 4.
Andrew's Note- Just a small thing that might help.
You do not have to do the missions in this order. It's just the way I
did it.
I don't find the Stun Missile a lot of help at this point so if you want
to then sell them and get a 2nd laser.
By the 2nd mission you should have the cr to buy a Recharge Booter. YOU
NEED IT!! After that save your money for your next ship.
3.Rebel Smugglers
Empiret Naval Security
Pay - 12,000 cr
Objectives
1 - Destroy Rebel Fleetship
2 - Be aware of Rebel Fighters in area
3 - Conclude operation before Police arrive
Enemies-
R - Rebel Fleetship - Intercepted and destroyed
R - Rebel Fighters
Y - Police Fighters - Completed mission before their arrival (5 min)
Allies-
G - Empiret Battlecruiser
G - Empiret Fighters
Notes-
Kill the Fleetship 1st. Your shields will hold if you have the Recharge
Booter. It will take you a minute or two at the most. Then just kill the
fighters till the timer gets down to 1 minute and then go to the
jumpgate.
Andrew's Note-
The more kills you have the better Rank/Rating you have.
4.Insult and Injury
Friends of the Rebellion....
Pay - 12,000 cr
Objectives-
1 - Closely follow electronic Warfare Pod to avoid detection
2 - Destroy ship identified as carrying Commissar Yujold
3 - Escape through jumpgate
Enemies-
R - Insult - Has Commissar Yujold (every time I've played it
he has)
R - Injury
R - SAADS - DO NOT APPROACH. This thing KILL you very quickly
R - Empiret Fighters - Forget about them till the Insult is dead
Allies-
G - Rebel Hauler - Has Electronic Warfare Pod in tow
Notes-
The Insult has Yujold
You don't have to follow the Rebel Hauler all the way just go for the
Insult.
And if you can, kill the Injury. (I know you can I do it every time)
This is one of the LINK Missions. All these missions you have to do. You
can tell that it is one of these missions by the pic of the
General((?)the hologram guy you see in the movie parts)
5.Valdemar.... LINK MISSION
The General(?)
Pay-10,000 cr
Objectives-
1 - Locate and protect the general until pick-up
2 - Destroy any threat of Empiret interception
3 - Local life forms are hostile use force as required
Enemies-
R - Natives - Class-D life forms
R - Empiret Tanks
Allies
Y - Drop ship - 3 minute timer starts when you find the General
Y - General - Will fire Flares when drop ship start coming
Notes-
This mission is very easy. Just kill everything as it comes at you.
There a few of the Natives and then the tanks come one at a time after
that. Then just wait for the Drop ship.
You will get a FREE ship from the General too. :)
The Zaibatsa Ryusei has one more Hardpoint then the last one so get a
3rd GP Laser.
Objectives-
1 - Destroy cargo bay door on the Morgan's Ghost
2 - Protect support unit during withdrawal of decoder
3 - Destoy Morgan's Ghost
Enemies-
R - Morgan's Ghost - Pirate Mother Ship
R - Cargo - Ignore
R - Pirate Raiders
R - Pirate Hauler
R - Pirate Interceptors
Allies-
G - Diva's Fighter - Will grapple decoder
Y - Decoder
Notes-
Destroy any guns around the cargo doors.
Then open the door and cover Diva as she picks up the Decoder.
When she starts to go to the jumpgate go ahead and kill the 4/5 Raider.
With them kill all of the Fighter will be coming from behind so fly in
reverse following Diva.
When she is safely in the jumpgate go and attack the Morgan's Ghost.
But before killing the Morgan's Ghost you can kill a LOT of Raiders.
And the more you kill the better for your rank.
Andrew's Notes-
Ok people now you're on your way to Marjorie's Station. There are 2 new
ships and a lot of new weapons. It is best to sell all your Laser Mk 1
and get Mk 2.
And in this Station there are 3 or 4 missions where you need to have
some thing(most times the Grapple gun or Stun Missile)
1.Retrieval
Hilach Merc
Weapons Needed - Grapple Gun
Pay - 12,000 cr
Objectives-
1 - Grapple and retrieve the Donachet Idol
2 - Move into shadow asteroids to keep cool
3 - Move from shadow asteroid to shadow asteroid to avoid critical heat-
up
Enemies-
R -Donachet Cruiser - Stay away. You can't kill them
R -Donachet Fighter
Pick-up
Flashes R - Donachet Idol
Notes-
Shadow Asteroids cool down your ship very fast
Fly in, get the Idol, fly out.
2.Convoy
League Police
Pay - 12,000 cr
Bonus - 1,000 cr for every Module
Objectives-
1 - Escort refugee convoy as far as Police Beacons
2 - Do not allow Empiret forces to divert Refugees
Enemies-
R - Empiret Escort - Take out 1st
R - Empiret Fighters
Allies-
G - Cargo Modules - Refuges in-side
G - Haulers - vulnerable to attacks
Y - Police Beacons
Y - Police Interceptors
Notes
Kill Escort 1st. As long as the Escort is away from the Haulers the
convoy will be safe .
After killing around 15 to 20 Escorts you just get pairs of fighters
coming at you not the Convoy.
3.Investigation
Dargothan Combine
Pay - 13,000 cr
Objectives-
1 - Follow Dargother Fighters to terraformine station
2 - Eliminate threat to the to the station
3 - Minimise Tolrasuar casualties
Enemies-
R - Tolrasuars - Kill the weapons on it. DO NOT KILL THEM.
R - Kaikarak Fighters
Allies-
G - Dargothan Fighters
G - Terraformine station - Protect
Notes-
One attack by 3 or 4 Fighters when you go after the 1st Tolrasuars.
4.Thunderbowl 1
Thunderbowl Association
Pay - 20,000 cr
Bounty - 2,000 cr a kill
Objectives
1 - SAADS are active
2 - Destry all other competitor
3 - Keep low-Stay alive
Enemies-
R - Scara Mouche
R - Hyack Lownes
R - Zel Ugeddevon
Y - SAADS
Notes-
IMO Scara is the hardest to kill

But this is a good way to make some fast cash.....
4.Surgical Striker
Jardinian Bulletin
Pay - 22,000 cr
Objectives-
1 - Penetrate Police defenses
2 - Take out all 3 tethers holding the Precinct 31 in orbit
3 - Escape
Enemies-
R - Police Fighter
R - Police Interceptor
R - Precinct 31
Notes-
It's easy to kill off all the Fighters and Interceptors and then take
out the Precinct.
5.Hunting
Jardinian
Weapons Needed - Stun missile
Pay-
Commission only - 5,000 cr a Protoshelp
Bounty - 500 cr a kill
Objectives-
1 - Take plenty of stun missiles
2 - Stun Protoshelp
3 - Avoid damage from Protoshelp Bull
Enemies-
Y - Protoshelp - stun them
Y - Protoshelp Bull - will attack you but you can't kill them
R - Rangers
Allies-
G - Hunting Barge
Notes-
Have around 10 to 15 stun missiles.
The timer on the mission is 5 minutes.
There are Protoshelp cow and bull. Bulls attack and will protect the
cows. You want to stun the cow NOT the bull
6.Protection
Syndicate
Pay - 20,000 cr
Bounty - 500 cr a kill
Objectives-
1 - Defend the SS Angli
2 - Destroy all Donachet forces
3 - Celebrate in style
Enemies-
R - Donachet Fighters
R - Donachet Cruiser
Allies-
G - SS Angli - Protect
G - Syndicate Escort
Notes-
Just take out the Cruiser as soon as it shows up and then kill off the
Fighters.
Allies-
G - Yacht-Protect
G - Mining ship - Protect
G - Mining robot - Protect
Notes-
There is no way you can save every ship but save as much as you can
8.Marjorie under Attack LINK
Marjorie Station
Pay - 32,000 cr
Bounty - 500 cr a kill
Objectives-
1 - Defend Marjorie Station
2 - Destoy all enemy craft
3 - Gamble your pay in Marjorie's Casino
Enemies-
R - League Interceptors
R - League Fighters
Allies-
G - Jardinia Fighters
9.Rescue Hilachet Ship LINK
HilachMerc
Weapon needed - Decloaker missiles
Pay - 36,000 cr
Objectives-
1 - Decloaking missiles are essential
2 - Sweep area for cloaked asteroids
3 - Protect Hilachet ship as required
Enemies-
R - Donachet Fighter
Allies-
Flasher G-Hilachet cruiser
G - Hilachet ship
G - Mining shuttles
Notes-
Look for the asteroids that have the light thing and fire a Decloaker
missile at it. Try to kill the Fighters when they're sill coming out of
the jumpgate.
Andrew's Notes-
There are 2 parts to this mission. Anybody know WTF the 2nd part is
for?? All I know is to go to the jumpgate.
10.Calculus 3
Unisoft External Security
Pay - 40,000 cr
Objectives-
1 - Rendezvous with the Calculus 3
2 - Shoot the Couplers(weak stops)that hold the escape pods to the
Calculus 3
3 - Respond to any threat with deadly force
Enemies-
R - Red Sun - Forget about it. You can't do anything to it
R - Sha'Har Fighter
R - Sha'Har Syncaris
Allies-
G - Calculus 3
G - Diva - follows the Red Sun
Notes-
To kill the syncuris take out the 2 guns on the side of it and then you
can kill it.
