When Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 was released on the PlayStation, it was viewed as
the most incredible skateboarding game so far. A few of the aspects that made
it so good were: responsive controls, excellent graphics and gameplay, and
realistic movements. It also had another aspect, which added to the already
addictive quality of the game: Gaps.
A gap, also known as a transfer or Blue Text Transfer(BTT), is simply a trick
from one point in a level to another. Such as jumping over a fence or grinding
along a rail. There are gaps in every level, and finding all of them can be
quite a challenge, as there are over 500 gaps in the game!
In terms of accuracy, I've tried to be as detailed as I can in writing the gaps
and their scores. To find the score for grinds, as soon as the blue transfer
text was displayed on screen I pressed pause and wrote down how much had been
added to the total. This means that the scores for grind gaps are as accurate
as possible, but not necessarily all correct.
It is also important to note that there is no gap checklist in this game. With
the gap checklist in THPS 2, the names and points of gaps would be displayed.
While I have tried to be as detailed as possible in the gaps list, it's likely
that I will miss some gaps in the early versions of this guide. For this
reason, if there are any gaps that I've missed, feel free to e-mail me and tell
me which one (or more) it is.

Bucket O' Hot Sauce - 250 points

When the bucket is pouring lava in the lava tub, use one of the quarter pipes
on either side to jump over the bucket.
At the back of the level is a control booth. There are quarter pipes on either
side of the control booth. Use the quarter pipes to launch up onto a grind on
the rail above. From the rail, jump over onto the platform on the other side of
the rail. There will be a tiny launch ramp on the platform. Use the launch ramp
to jump up onto either of the two platforms above.

Control Booth Transfer - 500 points

At one end of the level is a control booth with the words "Molten Operation"
written on it. There are quarter pipes on either side of the control booth.
Jump the gap from one quarter pipe to the other for this gap.

Deep Fried Transfer - 500 points

In the tub where the bucket pours lava, use the quarter pipes on either side to
jump over the tub.

Generator Transfer - 500 points

Go forward at the start of the level, but before you go down the rollin, stop.
Turn around to see two quarter pipes with a gap between them. Jump the gap from
one quarter pipe to the other.

Hardway Over The Hot Tub - 350 points

Go straight forward from the start of the level, and jump over the half pipe at
the bottom of the rollin. Continue skating on, passing by or over the green
press. After the press is a small ramp, and just after the small ramp is a tub
of lava. Use the small ramp to jump over the tub and land on the other side.

Just Passing Through - 250 points

At the side of the tub of water there is a triangle shaped ramp. Use either
side of the ramp to jump over the walkway above.

Over The Pipe! - 250 points
---------------------------
Go straight forward and down the rollin at the start of the level, and then use
the small ramp on the side of the half pipe to jump over it.

Poolside Over Under Gap - 750 points
------------------------------------
On either side of the tub of water there is a quarter pipe. Hold forward as you
go up the quarter pipe, and then jump over the tub of water.

Rollin Transfer - 500 points
-----------------------------
Go forward and down the rollin at the start of the level, and then stop at the
bottom of the rollin and turn around. On either side of the rollin will be a
quarter pipe. Jump over the rollin by using the quarter pipes.

Split The Wickets! - 150 points
-------------------------------
On either side of the rollin at the start of the level there is a small ramp.
Go to the top of the rollin and look down at the catwalk. The middle of the
catwalk branches off and forms a 'V' shape, with the man on the control panel
on the left branch. For this gap, jump from the small ramp at either side of
the middle rollin, fall through the V shape in the catwalk, and land in the
half pipe.

Up And Over!!! - 500 points

On either side of the rollin at the start of the level there is a small ramp.
Use small ramp on the right of the rollin to launch over the second catwalk
platform.

Back End Rail 2 Rail - 100 points
---------------------------------
At the back of the level there is a control booth, and just after the control
booth is a yellow rail. For this gap, jump from the yellow rail over to a grind
on the ledge in front of the windows. You can also jump from the ledge to the
yellow rail for the same gap.
On either side of the rollin at the start of the level there is a small ramp.
Use this ramp to launch up onto a grind on one of the catwalk rails. You can
get the same gap by launching out of the half pipe and landing on the catwalk.
At one end of the level is a control booth with the words "Molten Operation"
written on it. There are quarter pipes on either side of the control booth. Use
the quarter pipes to launch up onto a grind on the rail above. From the rail,
jump over onto the platform on the other side of the rail. There will be a tiny
launch ramp on the platform. Use the launch ramp to jump up onto either of the
two platforms above. If you're on the left platform, jump up to a grind on the
rafter on the left. If you're on the right platform, jump up to a grind on the
rafter on the right. Either rafter will give you the same gap.

From Way Down Town! - 200 points

On either side of the rollin at the start of the level there are two tiny
launch ramps. Use the left launch ramp to jump onto the left part of the
catwalk. From the catwalk, start grinding along the left yellow rail, and then
jump from the yellow rail onto a grind on the rail on top of the furnace.
There are three rollins at the start of the level. One over on the right, one
on the left and one in the middle. Go down the left rollin. After riding
through the half pipe, the furnace will be up on the left. Using the quarter
pipe, jump up into a grind on the rail going along the top of the furnace.

Furnace Walk - 150 points

There are three rollins at the start of the level. One over on the right, one
on the left and one in the middle. Go down the left rollin. After riding
through the half pipe, there will be two kinked rails to the right of the
furnace. Grind either the left or right rail for this gap.

Furnace Walk Rail 2 Rail - 50 points
------------------------------------
There are three rollins at the start of the level. One over on the right, one
on the left and one in the middle. Go down the left rollin. After riding
through the half pipe, there will be two kinked rails to the right of the
furnace. Grind either the left or right rail, and then jump over to the other
rail.

Generator Hop - 250 points
--------------------------
Go forward a little way, but stop before going down the rollin. Turn around and
face the generator. There will be a quarter pipe on either side of the
generator. Grind along one quarter pipe, jump the gap in front of the
generator, and then land in a grind on the other quarter pipe.

Hot Tub Jump - 150 points
-------------------------
In the tub where the bucket pours lava, grind either of the quarter pipes, jump
the tub, and land on the other quarter pipe.

Lil' Rail Hop - 50 points
-------------------------
On either side of the rollin at the start of the level there is a small ramp.
Use small ramp on the right of the rollin to launch over to the catwalk
platform. Once on the right catwalk platform, start grinding on the left yellow
rail, and then jump the gap, landing on the next catwalk rail for this gap.
Note: This gap can only be attempted after completing the Un-Jam 5 Valves goal
in Career Mode.
Turn around at the start of the level and head into the generator. Go all the
way up the spiral path, until you reach the top. At the top, start grinding the
edge. Grind all the way down the spiral path for this gap.

Porch Rail Tap - 500 points

At the back of the level is a control booth. There are quarter pipes on either
side of the control booth. Use the quarter pipes to launch up onto a grind on
the rail above.
To the left side of the green press are two yellow kinked rails with a slope
going up between them. Grind the right rail for this gap.

Press Walk Rail 2 Rail - 50 points

going up between them. Grind one of the rails and jump into a grind on the
other rail.

You do it by grinding the "Press Box Kink" then jumping off and landing on
another grind on the rail beside it. Not TC's rail, but the rail on the
opposite side of the press box.

Rail Hop - 100 points

At the start of the level, turn right before going down the middle rollin, and
then turn left to go down the rollin next to the right wall. Go through the
half pipe, and up the slope next to the tub of water. Keep going forward, there
will be a yellow rail on the left side of the slope going down. Grind down this
rail, and then jump over to the long yellow rail.

Railin' On Furnace Row - 250 points

There are three rollins at the start of the level. One over on the right, one
on the left and one in the middle. Go down the left rollin. After riding
through the half pipe, the furnace will be up on the left. Using the quarter
pipe, jump up into a grind on the rail going along just to the side of the top
of the furnace. This is the rail next to the Furnace Topper Rail.

Roll In Hop - 100 points
------------------------
Go forward and down the rollin at the start of the level, and then stop at the
bottom of the rollin and turn around. On either side of the rollin will be a
quarter pipe. Start grinding along one of the quarter pipes, jump over the
rollin, and then land in a grind on the other pipe.

Round The Bend!!! - 500 points
------------------------------
At the start of the level, turn right before going down the middle rollin, and
then turn left to go down the rollin next to the right wall. Go through the
half pipe, and up the slope next to the tub of water. After going down the
slope next to the tub of water, there will be a huge yellow rail curving around
the back of the level. Grind the whole rail for this gap.
At the back of the level there is a control booth, and just after the control
booth is a ledge in front of some windows. Start grinding along the ledge, jump
the gap, and land on the other ledge for this gap.

Stomp The Presses! - 250 points

To the left and right side of the green press is a thin green slope which can
be used as a launch ramp. Use the ramp to jump up to a grind on the side of the
press.
To the left of the green press are two yellow kinked rails with a slope going
up between them. Grind the left rail for this gap.

Tub Rail Tap - 250 points
-------------------------
At the side of the tub of water there is a triangle shaped ramp. Use either
side of the ramp to jump up to a grind on the edge of the tub.

Walkin' A Thin Line - 500 points

At one end of the level is a control booth with the words "Molten Operation"
written on it. There are quarter pipes on either side of the control booth. Use
the quarter pipes to launch up onto a grind on the rail above. From the rail,
jump over onto the platform on the other side of the rail. There will be a tiny
launch ramp on the platform. Use the launch ramp to jump up onto either of the
two platforms above. From the platform, jump up to a grind on the rafter.
Go down the rollin and drop into the half pipe. On one of the parts of the
catwalk there is a man standing near a control panel. Get some air on the half
pipe, and stall on the edge of the catwalk with the control panel.

Edge O' The Tub Extension - 250 points

Do a stall on the edge of the tub of water by using the quarter pipe on either
side of the tub.
There are three rollins at the start of the level. One over on the right, one
on the left and one in the middle. Go down the left rollin. After riding
through the half pipe, the furnace will be up on the left. Using the quarter
pipe, jump up onto a stall on the rail going along near the furnace.

High Voltage Walkway Lip - 750 points

Turn around at the start of the level and head into the generator. Use the bowl
to launch up past the first platform and stall on the middle ledge of the
spiral.

Turn around at the start of the level and head into the generator. Use the bowl
to launch up to a stall on the lowest edge of the spiral.

At one end of the level is a control booth with the words "Molten Operation"

the quarter pipes to launch up onto a stall on the rail above.

Circus Act Around The Bend! - 500 points
----------------------------------------
At the start of the level, turn right before going down the middle rollin, and
then turn left to go down the rollin next to the right wall. Go through the
half pipe, and up the slope next to the tub of water. After going down the
slope next to the tub of water, there will be a huge yellow rail curving around
the back of the level. There is a path on the right side of the yellow rail.
Start the manual before going up the slope of the path, and then follow the
path along near the yellow rail to the end.

From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. There are three bowls in this
area: one near the curved rail, one near the totem pole, and one in the middle.
For this gap, jump from the middle bowl over to the bowl next to the curved
rail.

Breezy Channel Gap - 250 points
-------------------------------
From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. Go to the back of the area, where
there are three rollins of different heights. On either side of the rollins are
quarter pipes. Use the quarter pipes to jump over the rollins.
From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. Over the fence, turn right to see
a curved quarter pipe in the corner of the park. On the left side of the
quarter pipe is an exit to this area. Go through the exit to come to a big
launch ramp near a frozen river. The side of the frozen river can be used as a
launch ramp. Using the side of the frozen river, jump over the fence and land
in the bowl near the totem pole.

Car Gap - 200 points
--------------------
Go forward from the start of the level, and you should soon see two cars on the
left, with a small launch ramp on each side. Use the launch ramp to jump over
the cars.

Climb The Tree - 100 points

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above.

Comin Out Of The Sky - 50 points

The reverse of the Load And Go gap. So instead of jumping from the cabin
quarter pipe up to the raised quarter pipe, jump from the raised quarter pipe
down to the cabin quarter pipe.

Corral Gap Transfer - 50 points

Go into the area of the level with the big pine tree in the middle. There is a
quarter pipe going surrounding most of the area. The quarter pipe has five gaps
in it. Jump over any of the gaps.

Funbox Hop - 10 points
----------------------
From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. Over on the left side of this
area, near the fence to the car park, is the funbox. Jump the gap of the
funbox.

Hillside Tree Path Launch - 50 points

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform, and then turn left and drop down off the platform to land in
the area with the big pine tree. Jump onto the big trunk of the pine tree, and
face toward the branch which leads to the wooden path. Using the edge of the
pine tree as a ramp, jump up to the path.

From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. There are three bowls in this
area: one near the curved rail, one near the totem pole, and one in the middle.
For this gap, jump from the middle bowl over to the bowl near the totem pole.

Load And Go - 250 points
------------------------
After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform, and then continue along the wooden platform, taking the left
wooden path at the junction. Jump the gap between the paths and land on the
next path. Upon landing, start grinding along the rail on the left and grind
through the lever to raise the half pipe nearby if it's not already raised. Use
the quarter pipe just before the hut, and jump up to the raised half pipe on
the right for this gap.

Over The Blade - 25 points

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and face the
slope. Use the quarter pipes on either side to jump over the slope.
After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform, and then continue along the wooden platform, taking the left
wooden path at the junction. Jump the gap between the paths and land on the
next path. Upon landing, start grinding along the rail on the left and grind
through the lever to raise the half pipe nearby if it's not already raised. Use
the quarter pipe just before the hut, and jump up to the raised half pipe on
the right. There will be a launch ramp on one side of the half pipe, so use
this to launch up to the half pipe above. For this gap, Jump from the half pipe
with the roof over to the sloped half pipe.

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform, and then turn left and drop down off the platform to land in
the area with the big pine tree. Going around the edge of this big area is a
long quarter pipe. At one side of the area there is a frozen river. Follow the
river along until you see a big launch ramp propped up on a tree trunk. Using
this ramp, jump over the river and land on the ramp on the other side.

Still Bootleggin' - 50 points

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform, and then continue along the wooden platform, taking the left
wooden path at the junction. Jump the gap between the paths, and land on the
next path for this gap.

There's Gold In Them Thar Hills. - 100 points

From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. Over the fence, turn right to see
a curved quarter pipe in the corner of the park. On the left side of the
quarter pipe is an exit to this area. Go through the exit to come to a big
launch ramp. Jump from this ramp and land on the ramp on the other side of the
river.

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform for this gap.

From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. Over near the back of the area are
two snow piles with three rails going along between them. For this gap, jump
from one snow pile to the next.

You're Over The Hill! - 500 points
----------------------------------
After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform, and then turn left and drop down off the platform to land in
the area with the big pine tree. Jump over the big trunk of the pine tree for
this gap. You can get this gap by jumping over just the corner of the trunk.

Ahhh! My Head! - 200 points

From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. There will be a totem pole at the
side of this area. Use the quarter pipe nearby to jump up into a grind on the
wings of the pole. For the gap, jump from the wing and land on the other side
of the fence.

Air Over The Blade Grind - 250 points

At the start of the level, go down the slope and grind the fence on the left.
There will be a bulldozer on the left side of the fence. When you get to the
gap in the fence, jump over the blade of the bulldozer and land in a grind on
the next section of the fence.

Airin' Up And Out - 250 points

Airin' Up and Out - Go down into the parking lot and use the long quarter pipe
and transfer to the rail up above you and to the right side. (Extra from Elliot

All that Glitters - Go up onto the house and grind the first guard rail and
transfer to the other guard rail on the other side. (Extra from Elliot Long:
Its the rail that is immediatly left of you when you fall into the water
below).
From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. To the right of the bowl nearest
the fence, there is a curved rail. On the other side of this rail there is a
quarter pipe. Above the quarter pipe, there is a high rail which leads down to
the triangular platform at the corner of the area. Launch from the quarter to a
grind on the high rail for this gap.

Around The Horn - 100 points

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform. Go through the tree tunnel, and then stop and turn around,
facing the tunnel. A rail will start on the left side of the wooden platform.
Go through the tunnel again, and follow the wooden platform along until it
ends. Jump onto the rail at the end of the platform, and start grinding along
the rail. Grind around the rail to complete this gap.

Banner Ad Dot Com - 100 points

Go forward from the start of the level, and turn right just before the quarter
pipe. Go down the slope of the car park to the quarter pipe at the end. Start
grinding along the quarter pipe to the right, and then jump the gap between the
banners for this gap.

Big Air Fence Stomp - 250 points
--------------------------------
From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. Over on the left side of this
area, near the fence to the car park, is the funbox. After the funbox there is
a curved quarter pipe. On the other side of the quarter pipe is a wide slope.
Using this wide slope, launch to a grind on the fence.

From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. There are three bowls in this
area: one near the curved rail, one near the totem pole, and one in the middle.
For this gap, grind from the middle bowl, jump, and land in a grind on the bowl
near the totem pole.

Bowl To Rail - 50 points

From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. There are three bowls in this
area: one near the curved rail, one near the totem pole, and one in the middle.
There is a rail going around the side of the bowl nearest the fence. Grind the
bowl, and then jump up to a grind on the rail.

Breezy Pants Gap - 100 points

From the start of the level, go down the small slope and then jump over the
fence to the right to land in the bowl area. Go to the back of the area, where
there are three rollins of different heights. On either side of the rollins are
quarter pipes. Start a grind on one quarter pipe, jump over the rollins, and
land on a grind on the other quarter pipe.
Go down the small slope at the start of the level, and then turn 180 to the
left. Go to the right of the quarter pipe and continue forward to come to a
broken wooden bridge over a stream. Jump in the stream to appear on the
platform above. On the platform, go straight forward and grind the log. At the
end of the log, jump onto the rail leading down to the log below. At the end of
this log, jump down to the rail on the left, which is just next to the machine
with the lever which raises the half pipe.

Corral To Tree Grind - 50 points
--------------------------------
After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform, and then turn left and drop down off the platform to land in
the area with the big pine tree. Going around the edge of this big area is a
long quarter pipe. Go over to the corner of the area which is near the bowl
area. There will be a tree going up at an angle over the frozen stream. Grind
the quarter pipe, and then jump over into a grind on the tree.

Crossover The Easy Way - 250 points

Go forward from the start of the level until you see two rails going down on
either side of a path to the right. Grind down either of the sloped rails, and
then at the gap, jump over the path and land on the flat rails.

Crossover The Hard Way - 500 points
-----------------------------------
Go forward from the start of the level until you see two rails going down on
either side of a path to the right. Grind down either of the sloped rail, and
then at the gap, jump over the path and land on the other sloped rail.
Go forward from the start of the level, and you should soon pass two cars on
the left, with a small launch ramp on each side. After passing the cars, turn
around and face them. Use the small launch ramp before the cars to jump and
land on a grind on the curb going along just to the side of the ramp.
At the start of the level, there is a low rail to the left. To the left of the
rail is a curb. Jump onto a grind on the low rail, and then jump over to a
grind on the curb. You can also get this gap by jumping from the curb up to a

slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on

next path. Keep going forward to come to a quarter pipe on a hut. Don't go up
the quarter pipe. Instead, approach it, and then turn around and face the other
way. There will be a rail going along the right side of the wooden platform.
Grind the rail all the way around the corner, and then jump into a grind on the
corral quarter pipe in the area with the pine tree.
Go forward from the start of the level, and you should soon pass two cars on
the left, with a small launch ramp on each side. After passing the cars, turn
around and face them. Use the small launch ramp before the cars to jump and
land on a grind on the fence going along the side of the area.
At the start of the level, there is a low rail to the left. To the left of the
rail is a curb, and to the left of the curb is a fence at the side of the area.
Jump onto a grind on the fence, and then jump over to a grind on the curb. You
can also get this gap by jumping from the curb up to a grind on the fence.

fence to the right to land in the bowl area. At the left side of the area is a
ledge behind a quarter pipe. Grind the ledge, and then jump up to a grind on

fence to the right to land in the bowl area. Over the fence, turn right to see
a curved quarter pipe in the corner of the park. Go forward and start grinding
the lip of the quarter pipe, and then jump down and land in a grind on the

be a tree branch from the big pine tree on the right side. Jump from the rail

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform, and then turn left and drop down off the platform to land in
the area with the big pine tree. The pine tree has big branches coming out of
it. Grind one of the branches for this gap.
The reverse of the Good Eye! gap. So instead of grinding from the rail of the
wooden platform onto the branch of the pine tree, jump from the branch of the
pine tree onto the rail. To do this, jump onto the big trunk of the pine tree,
and face toward the branch which leads to the rail. Using the edge of the pine
tree as a ramp, jump up to a grind on the branch, and continue to hold the
grind button to land on the next rail.

After going down the slope at the start of the level, turn around and use the
slope to jump up to the wooden platform above. Jump over the rail to land on
the next platform. Upon landing, go through the tree tunnel and then start

Go forward from the start of the level and turn right when you see the slope
going down on on the right. There will be a rail on the right side of the slope

Rail Cheater: It's nearly impossible not to do this gap, while performing the

performed after the stomp as it seems.

From the beginning head right and over the fence into the pool area. Skate past
the pools and the totem towards the "Breezy Gaps", which are located at the
three high roll-ins. Now grind the fence leading to the totem pole or the edge
beneath it, facing the pools. At the end of the fence/edge you'll see a red
rail. Just stay on the grind button while on the fence or do a small leap from
the edge and then grind the red rail. That's the Rail Stomp.

area: one near the curved rail, one near the totem pole, and one in the middle.

Ok, start by going to the Generator and get the Load and Go gap by launching up
to the raised platform. Launch off of the raised platform and in to the half
pipe with the breakable roof. Now go to the end of the half pipe on the right
side, and at the very end you should be able to look out at the place with the
large tree stump in the middle. To get this gap you need to launch out of the
right side of the half pipe (near the end) and on to the rim of the part with
the large tree stump. After launching out of the half-pipe (may take a few
tries), hold down Triangle and hope that you land on the outer-fence area of
the circular part. If you did it right, you should land on one of the 'Triple-
wood log parts' of the rim, and you should get the Rockslide!!! gap.

I find it easier launching out of the left side of the half pipe. I have only
got the gap so far by landing on the huge quarter pipe which goes around the
pine tree, although there may be an easier place to land for the same gap. It's
one of the most difficult gaps of the game, and well worth the 1,000 points.

I'm not exactly sure how to do this one. I did it once by accident and then one
more time. It involves grinding the rail by the generator (the Nice Shootin'
direction), jumping off over the generator and then landing on the rail again.

I've found that the only way to do it is to grind the rail slowly, and then
jump up and land on top of the generator. From the top of the generator, jump
down to a grind on the rail. This gap is so difficult due to the tiny surface
area of the generator.

Start at the beginning of the level and turn 90 degrees right. Hop over the
fence and go past the quarter-circle quarterpipe thing (there will be a skater
on it if you have not impressed him yet). Turn right again and hop from wooden
ramp to wooden ramp. Go into the big bundt cake pan area with the big tree in
the middle and a fence surrounding most of it. Use the right analog stick to
look around and find the tree that has been cut through and has the bridge
running through it. You are going to launch up the snowbank quarter pipe, just
to the right of that tree, over the bridge, all the way down to the stream, and
grind one of the logs that crosses over the hole in the ice. Yeah, I know it
sounds tough. That's because it is. When I got bored of career mode and went
back to investigate it, I had to turn on super stats just to do it and reassure
myself it was real! Don't worry though, the first time I executed this gap (by
accident) I didn't have any cheats on. Anyway, it's a very difficult gap; don't
expect to integrate it effortlessly into your lines.

For this one get on top of the haunted house, so head left from the start and
left again at the halfpipes, skate through the haunted house (it has to be open
of course), you'll come to a quarterpipe at the and of that room, transfer to
the right ("I got a bad feeling about this!") at the opposite side transfer to
the right again ("Look out behind you") onto a small halfpiperoof. From here
fly up to the main roof. There's a halfpipe on the main roof and on one of the
quarterpipes is a platform on which you have to go (slowly). You'll see two
cables going down to Skillz' house, jump over the small spiked fence and grind
one of the cables all the way down, that's the gap. I tried to jump out of the
roof halfpipe directly on that cable without a result, so get on that platform
first.

with cargo driving). Gate Transfer is achieved when you launch from one of the

rail going through the middle. Above that is the outer-wooden-fencing that
separates the 2 'areas' (vert and street). To get the gap, you must grind the
wooden fence and when it inclines upward (a bit after the funbox mentioned
earlier ends) you need to ollie off (at the right time) and grind the sprinkler
system above. This requires precise timing, as if you ollie too late you will
not get the angle needed, and if you ollie too early, you won't get the height.

wooden ramp at the side of the road to launch up onto the building ledge. Next,
grind the ledge and then jump over to a grind on the edge of the next building.
Grind around the corner, and then jump onto the rail on top of the cherry sign.
This gap can only be completed in Career Mode, after the earthquake has been
started.
Skate over to the car wash, and jump up onto the roof. A good way of doing this
is to jump from the quarter pipe near the car wash, next to the store with the
Huge Discounts sign on it. Up on the rubble strewn roof of the car wash, turn
the skater toward the broken bridge, which slopes steeply upwards. Jump onto
the sloped section of the bridge, and then jump over the small gap to the next
section of the bridge, which a car has smashed through a wall and is balancing
over the edge. Jump on the wall and grind over the crack in the wall where the
car is balancing to make the car fall down, which will complete the gap.
The earthquake must be started before this gap can be completed.
Sloping up to the roof of the building to the left of the wavy stairs near the
start of the level is a thin rail. Grind all the way up the rail to get to the
roof. Jump from the roof over to the section of road below, and then use the
wooden ramp at the side of the road to launch up onto the building ledge. Next,
grind the ledge and then jump over to a grind on the edge of the next building.

gap is air off of that brown little kicker-rounded thing and grind a wire. You

the arch to drop down some steps to the road. Once on the road, turn around and

with a rail going down them. Start grinding on the ledge, jump over the steps
with the rail going down them, and then land on the rail.
At the side of the car wash, there is a big gap between two quarter pipes.
Grind one quarter pipe, jump the gap, and then land in a grind on the next
quarter pipe.
At the side of the car wash, there are two quarter pipes with a gap between
them. Grind the left quarter pipe, and then jump over to a grind on the ladder
of the fire engine. Grind all the way up the ladder, and then start grinding
along the ledge of the building. At the end of the ledge, jump to the right and
land on the edge of the sloped roof of the building.
From the start of the level, jump down the wavy steps, and then turn right on
the road. Where the road slopes down, there will be a rail on the left side of
the road. Grind down the rail.
This gap can only be completed after the earthquake has been started.

up to the platform is to go past the full loops in the level a short way, and
then turn back around and face the loops. Use one of the loops as a quarter
pipe, and jump forward off the loop at an angle to land on the red platform. To
get this gap, just land on the red platform.

Amaebi Gap, and Edomae Gap, you need to air from the quarter pipe and start a
grind on the sign. Before the sign reaches the line with the lanters, you need
to ollie off and grind a circular sign to the left. This gets you the Fugu Juju
Gap. Continue grinding the circular sign ,until you reach the end. At the end
ollie and start to grind,the ledge/balcony like platform infront of you. This
gets you the Maguro Gap. Continue grinding along the ledge/balcony like
platform until you reach the end. At the end you should see a blue platform
that is slightly higher than the ledge/balcony like platfom you just grinded.
Ollie out of the grind and into a grind on the blue ledge. This will get you
the Edomae gap. At the end of the blue platform, ollie out of the grind and
land in a grind on the light blue sign and you will get the Amaebi Gap. (VERY
IMPORTANT NOTE: You *MUST* Ollie and grind onto the light blue sign [for the
Amaebi Gap] BEFORE you reach the very end of the platform, or else you will
ollie into a curve-ish type thing and it will make you go in the wrong

On the right side of the level there are 2 cubes. Go to the 2nd one. It can be
used as a kicker to air up to the platform behind the neon-orange 'explosive'
sign. Once on the platform, look behind you. You should see a platform with a
purple sign behind it. Ollie onto that, and to the right you should see a very
flat platform suspended by some beams. Ollie onto that. To get this string of
gaps, you need to go to the very edge (facing the start of the level) of the
suspended platform. Turn 180 degrees and you should see the orange explosive
sign. Grind the RIGHT side of the platform you are on, and at the end, ollie
right and grind the edge of the platform with the purple sign behind it. You
have gotten the Chakinzushi Gap.
Skate to the quarter pipe at the right side just before the right bowl. Grind
along the quarter pipe to the right, and then jump off at the end and grind the
steep sign. Quickly jump and grind to get further up the sign. Near the top of
the sign, you will get this gap. An easier way is to use one of the small
circular platforms to launch onto a grind down the sign.

striped display. At the end of that ledge use the raising to jump onto the next
display. This jump is the gap.

Go down the rollin from the start of the level, and then turn around and face
the spectator stand. High up above is a rail going along to the right. Use the
quarter pipe below to launch up onto the rail, grinding along to the right, and
then quickly jump up to a grind on the roof of the stand. Continue to hold
grind to start grinding along a rope. After the rope, is a small ledge of a
billboard. Ride along this, and then jump up to a grind on the curved platform
above for this gap.

Grind the rope with the lanterns, and when you're near the end, ollie off and
grind the curved-outcropping under you. Ollie off the end of that and grind the
yellow rail that goes across the Weak Assed California Transfer. You *SHOULD*
get the gap.
Another thought if you don't get it that way is to try and ollie off the
lantern rope and into a grind on the yellow rail, without grinding anything
else, but that may be tough.

to the slope. This slope is between two quarter pipes with a yellow edge. Grind

normal quarter pipe, and then land on the other curved quarter pipe.

Do the "MEGA MECHA MAYHEM!!!" to get into the secret area. From the entrance
platform, before going down into the secret area, you'll see two blue shining,
curved rails coming up to you, which are actually the ledges of two quarter
pipes below, with a rift in it. Above is a rail with the same bend. Now go down
and grind the ledge of the QP back to the entrance, and jump the rift over the
entrance. Don't jump to far, because landing on the rails behind the ledge will
give you the "YANAGAWA NABE GAP".
This gap can also be done at the oposite side of the secret area by jumping the
oposite rift, but it's more difficult there.

From the start of the level, skate up the left slope to the walkway. Go about
halfway along the walkway, and then turn 180 to the left. The orange ledge will
be on the right. Grind the right walkway rail, and then quickly jump up to a
grind on the orange ledge. At the end of the orange ledge, jump down to the
curved ledge, and then finally jump from the curved ledge to a grind on the
billboard ledge.
From the start of the level, skate up the left slope to the walkway. Go about
halfway along the walkway, and then turn 180 to the left. The orange ledge will
be on the right. Grind the right walkway rail, and then quickly jump up to a
grind on the orange ledge. At the very end of the orange ledge, jump up and
hold grind to grind a hidden ledge for the gap.

On the right side of the level there are 2 cubes. Go to the 2nd one. It can be
used as a kicker to air up to the platform behind the neon-orange 'explosive'
sign. Once on the platform, look behind you. You should see a platform with a
purple sign behind it. Ollie onto that, and to the right you should see a very
flat platform suspended by some beams. Ollie onto that. To get this string of
gaps, you need to go to the very edge (facing the start of the level) of the
suspended platform. Turn 180 degrees and you should see the orange explosive
sign. Grind the RIGHT side of the platform you are on, and at the end, ollie
right and grind the edge of the platform with the purple sign behind it. You
have gotten the Chakinzushi Gap. Keep grinding, and at the end of the platform,
ollie out and into a grind on the ledge behind the orange explosive sign. You
now have the Meji gap. Continue the grind around the ledge and drop into a
grind along the rail that circles the outside of the bowl. You got the Katsudon
Gap.

behind the display and use the small ramp to grind the topledge of the
lightblue striped display.

lucky) and instead of dropping and grinding the railway, you grind the actual

To get the gaps, go to the end of the level. Outside the right pool, there
should be a quarter pipe that leads to a sign (which goes onto the line with
the lanterns).
To get the next 3 gaps, To get the next 3 gaps, Fugu JuJu Gap, Maguro Gap,
Amaebi Gap, and Edomae Gap, you need to air from the quarter pipe and start a
grind on the sign. Before the sign reaches the line with the lanters, you need
to ollie off and grind a circular sign to the left. This gets you the Fugu Juju
Gap. Continue grinding the circular sign ,until you reach the end. At the end
ollie and start to grind,the ledge/balcony like platform infront of you. This
gets you the Maguro Gap. Continue grinding along the ledge/balcony like
platform until you reach the end. At the end you should see a blue platform
that is slightly higher than the ledge/balcony like platfom you just grinded.
Ollie out of the grind and into a grind on the blue ledge. This will get you
the Edomae gap.

of the level. High above the right side of the quarter pipe is a flat platform.
Jump up onto a grind on the flat platform, and then quickly jump over to the

Go to the end of the level. Jump with the quarter pipe and grind tothe right on
the high rail near the railway. At the end of the rail
jump on the "balcony" of the building. Now jump on the other balcony,which has
a yellow-trasparent screen with some fish. Now brake.You will see two possible
ways to continue. One is on the right: a rope with some red lights. The other
is one the left: a ledge of a building. Grind on this edge. Grinding You will
do a little "bend".
When this bend ends, also the edge will ends. So jump and do a grindon the
other near edge of the balcony. You will take the "Maguro Gap".

striped display. At the end of that ledge use the raising to jump onto the next
display. On this display use the raising at the end again to launch into a

Above the right end of the pool there should be a 'Capsle' sign which is beside

this gap you must get air enough to grind the jeep sign left, and then drop and
grind the train track below. This will get you the Shochu Gap.

After grinding the wire of lanterns, you should be at a wire that extends to
the platform above the spectator stand. TO get the gap, you must grind the

grind along the wire with the lanterns and hold triangle and you should get the
gap.

level a short way, and then turn back around and face the loops. Use one of the

Go forward from the start of the level and drop down a deck. Continue forward
past the pool to come to the big red pillar. At the right side of the pillar is
a white rail with a valve on it. Grind the rail to empty the pool, and then
return to the starting point of the level. Back on the starting point, turn to
face the quarter pipe. There will be two wires above, one high, one low. Go
over to the quarter pipe on the right, and jump up slightly to the left. Hold
grind after jumping up past the lowest wire to land on a grind on the highest
wire. This wire will lead around a corner and up the wire leading toward the
red pillar. Jump off and land on top of the red pillar, where there will be a
small half pipe. Using the half pipe, jump all the way down to the empty pool
below.
Go straight forward from the start of the level and drop off the right launch
ramp. After landing, turn 180 to the left to see a path leading down with a red
rail in the middle. Go down the path to arrive in the museum. Smash through the
window at the other side of the museum to land on the deck outside, and then
turn around and face the museum. Jump back into the museum for this gap.

up the wire leading toward the red pillar. Jump off at the end of the wire and
land on top of the red pillar, where there will be a small half pipe. For this
gap, get some big air on either side of the half pipe.

get the same gap by jumping from inside the atrium, and landing on the quarter
pipe outside. This gap can only be done after the glass at the side of the
atrium has been smashed.

ramp. After landing, turn 180 to the left to see a path leading down with a red
rail in the middle. Go down the path to arrive in the museum. Jump through the
window at the other side of the museum for this gap.
Before this gap can be completed, the propeller must be ejected from the
museum. Go to the atrium on the lower deck, and go to the side of the atrium
with the propeller stuck in the quarter pipe. Jump over the propeller for this

Boardrider's Club, to find a kinked wooden rail leading down the slope. Use
this kink in the rail to launch up to a grind on the awning. At the end of the
first awning, jump and land in a grind on the next awning. Finally, jump from
the second awning to a grind on the ferry support rail.

At the start of the level, turn left and drop down two decks. Nearby, there
should be a man looking at a control panel. Wallride over the control panel to
raise the ferry. Once the ferry has been raised, go all the way back up to the
starting point of the level. There will be a tiny launch ramp at the side of
the top deck. Launch from this ramp all the way down to a grind on the ferry
support rails below.
Go down to the atrium on the lower deck of the ship. There are quarter pipes on
either side of the atrium, and above the quarter pipes on one side of the
atrium is a sprinkler rail. Jump from the quarter pipe to the sprinkler rail,
and then jump to a grind on the flower planter. For this gap, jump from the
flower planter over to a grind on the other flower planter.
Go down to the atrium on the lower deck of the ship. There are quarter pipes on
either side of the atrium, and above the quarter pipes on one side of the
atrium is a sprinkler rail. Jump from the quarter pipe to the sprinkler rail,
and then jump to a grind on the flower planter. For this gap, jump from the
flower planter to a grind on the sprinkler rail.

cake. Grind the ledge, and then jump to a grind on the edge of the fountain.

pipe, and start grinding to the left on the scaffolding rail. At the end of the
rail, jump down to a grind on the lifeboat rail below.
Before this gap can be completed, the propeller must be ejected from the
museum. Go to the atrium on the lower deck, and go to the side of the atrium
with the propeller stuck in the quarter pipe. Go past the propeller and the two
emergency exits, and stop near the place with the ferry supports above. There
will be a small white rail just to the left, before the ferry supports. Start
grinding this rail to the left, and then drop down to a grind on the safety
net. Jump over to a grind on the next safety net, and then quickly jump up to a
grind on the rail on the right for this gap.

atrium is a sprinkler rail. Jump from the quarter pipe to the sprinkler rail,
and then jump to a grind on the flower planter.

doorway. Break through the glass to reveal a ledge just outside the shop. Grind
the ledge outside either shop, and jump to a grind on any of the ledges.
On the middle deck of the ship, there is a red spiral sculpture going down into
a pool of water. On the deck above, there is a wire leading to the top of the
red sculpture. Jump over the fence to a grind on the rail, and grind all the
way down to the red spiral for this gap.
At the start of the level, there will be a small launch ramp just in front. And
to the right of this ramp is a path, which leads onto the blue spiral slide. Go
up this path, and grind down either side of the blue slide for this gap.
On the middle deck of the ship, there is a red spiral sculpture going down into

blue slope leading down to the deck with the red spiral sculpture. Grind down
the rail of the blue slope, and then at the end of the rail, jump to a grind on
the spiral staircase rail.

past the pool to come to the big red pillar. At the right side of the pillar is

Near the side of the level, there are two wooden ramps facing each other with a
small gap between them. For this gap, jump from one ramp over to a grind on the
nearby ledge.
Above the quarter pipe that lines the back of the warehouse is a high rail on
the wall. For this gap, launch from the quarter pipe to a grind along the rail
(make sure to grind the whole rail), drop down to a grind on the quarter pipe
below and then jump to the green rail leading to the half pipe.

It's quite hard to do the deck grind without moonphysics on, so I found this
way to get it. Get on the platform with the quarterpipe, the two ramps and the
glowing rail. Gather speed on the QP and shoot over one ramp, instead of aiming
at the glowing rail, try to fly straight and grind on one of the small walls,
which also give you this gap.

Start at the halfpipe on the far side of the level. Get into a grind on the
right hand lip, ollie the gap into a grind (you're next to the triple rail
where you get the Bhouse rail gap), grind all the way around, ollie over the
roll in gap, land in a grind, go to the end, ollie off into a manual heading
right towards where you'd start the ET Rewind gap, ollie into a grind on that
rail and complete the ET Rewing gap, finishing in the room with the alien. That
gets you the gap.

a gap you didnt have listed is "ring around the roswell" start with the metal
half pipe in the back and begin grinding, jump the channel and keep grinding,
jump the roll in and keep grinding, jump off the last half pipe and manual till
