I'm back! SpacePirate here, and welcome to my guide to the game based on the
best-selling book by R.L. Stine, Goosebumps: Escape From Horrorland. Horrorland
is a short point-and-click adventure game and it has real people in it acting
right in front of you. Kind of a bad idea (Night Trap, Resident Evil). The kids
in the game lead you through the game as you solve simple puzzles and collect
tokens and cards. Though quite short, this game is pretty fun (and kind of
scary). Well, not much to say here, so let's get started
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
2. Game Overview
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The game plays like an ordinary point-and-click game, you click on things and
stuff happens, ooh!! If you move your nasty hand down, you go into your back
pack. You can store items in here. You can also put items on top of each other
to combined them. You'll need to do this a few times. Lots of things in the
enviroments are interactive. They either have to do with the game or there
just there for gags. Through out the levels, you will find maps with videos on
them with some psycotic chick in it. There's lots of variety in the game and
I'll go over them in the Walkthrough portion of the game. Well, that's about
it. The game is easy to pick up so just play it and you'll easily get it.
This is the place you start at. There's a small werewolf living in a cage here.
He later gets out and is in an incrediblbe leather suit! This place has a Fire
Department, a Butcher Shop, and one disgusting house. A fire even starts up in
the village and you have to fight the evil gas!!
\\\\\\\\
Horrorland Plaza
////////////////
This is the big entertainment area, mostly because of the movie theatre and the
huge slides. There's even a museum up in there. It's the coolest district but
it's also very small.
\\\\\\\\
Bat Barn
////////////////
The Scarecrow Walks At Midnight! After you make the pumkins say that classic
old line, you go into the barn and then go out and then that's it. Not to much
to do here except to get you to the Valley of the Kings... and to scare the
dumb kids. There just bats!!
\\\\\\\\
Valley of the Kings
////////////////
This Egyptian like area holds a kid in the main Pyrimid and even holds the
mummy. There are lots of puzzles in the pyramid and you even get lost in a
hole. Yay!!
This is just a skeleton guide. It just gets you through the game with no extra
stuff. That stuff his in the exrta areas.
You will start out in Werewolf Village. You don't have to listen to Lizzy talk
so just go to the cafe, grab a cockaroach and then leave. Then go down to the
boys. Go down the fenced path that leads into Horrorland Plaza. Head into the
museum and grab the broom next to the trash can. Then, take the broom and cut
the top off with the big axe (or whatever it is). Then go over to the glass
case with the glasses in it and use the broom on it to hold up the door. Next,
grab the glasses, and put them in your back pack. Then go over to the staues
with lasers comeing out of there eyes and put the glasses on their eyes. Then,
grab the stone. Exit the museum and go back to Werewolf Village. Lizzy will
say something about hearing a fire and you'll run down to the village. The
path will be blocked by fire so go over to the gas valves.
Quickly turn the Un-Natural Gas, Super Natural Gas, and then the Natural Gas in
that order. After that, go to the Butcher Shop and open up the freezer Lizzy's
in. The werewolf will then come and you'll have to run from it. When Lizzy says
Run To Me, go straight, When she says Over Here, go right, and when she says
This Way, go left.When you get through that and the werewolf is all tied up,
grab the hand around his neck. Then, head to Horrorland Plaza and go to the Bat
Barn. Go over to the Pumpkins. You'll have to make them say "The Scarecrow
Walks At Midnight". Here's what you push to get through:
1 2
o o o 4 o o
o 3
7 5 6 o
o o o o o
o= Pumkin
1-7= Order you click on pumpkins, 1 being first
After you've talked to the scarecrow, go in the barn and click on the door to
bring light to the barn. Open the door and head on through to The Valley of the
Kings. Head toward the large Pyramid and click on the button at the base. Use
the hand and stone on it to open the door. Head into the Pyramid. Move the
columns to make a picture on both columns and head into the sand room. Change
the pictures on the colums to make this on each column:
o = Red circle
/|\ = Eye
\|/
//\ = Circle
\//
_ __
| |__|
| |__ = The other shape
|_|__|
After you've done that, click on the hat and whip and you'll go through a hall
to the Mummy room. Pop open the coffin on the left and grap the crowbar and
open the middle coffin with the crowbar and Luke in a mummy suit will come out.
After he's done talking, go into the hole. A mummy will then start crawling
toward you, just keep going straight up and you'll eventually escape. Luke
will try to stop the mummy but can so you'll have to take care of him. When he
comes out of the hole, grab a torch and start burning him with it until he
runs into the column and gets crushed. If he burns out your flame, go over to
the fire pit and ignite it back up. Go up to his body and take the ring off his
finger and put it in your pack. Then go over to Luke. After he's done saying a
bunch of usesless things, leave through the door.
Exit the pyramid and leave the Valley of the Kings. Go to Horrorland Plaza and
go into the Doom-Slide. Go through the hall and then ride slide 10. You'll end
up in Vampire Village. Switch up the disks and go to the library. Go to the
expirement table and click on the buttons in this order: Red, Red, Blue. Pull
the switch and Lizzy will be back to normal. After that, leave the Library and
go into the building near the slide. Go over to the tools and grab the pliers
and put the ring in them and then click on the fire. Lizzy and Luke will do
some stuff to activate the ring. After they do it, leave the building and go
to the gate leading to the Counts Castle. If you turn around and then look at
the gate, there will be a bug-eating man in front of you. Use the ring on him
and go into the castle.
Go to the left and go through the door to the dining room. Click on the plate
cover. It's Clays head!! But he isn't dead. You'll have to find a way to get
him out so go out to the main hall and go into the right door. Go up the stairs
and into the bed room. Go over to the weird looking coat and Lizzy will put it
on. Then, some psyco lady will start running around the room, chasing Lizzy. Go
over to the bed. When the lady gets right next to the bed, click on it and
she'll go bye bye. After that, leave the room, and then Lizzy will start
dancing with the Count. I didn't know Dracula was in Jurrasic Park!! Anyway,
click o the pockets that are glowing and you'll eventually get the handle. Liz
will take down the Count with the ring.
Once she's done doing that, go back to the dining room. Go under the table and
stick the handle into the machine. Pull it and three pictures will show up, a
bat, a werewolf, and a roach. Click on the bat, werewolf, bat, roach, and then
the bat. Clay will be able to get out. After he's out, head to the coffin ride.
Just keep heading down the hall until your out. The Count will be chasing you
so don't stop (unless you really want the coins floating around. When your out,
go into the coffin. You'll lay in darkness for about 2 minutes squishing
spiders until you finally get out. You're at the zoo. Go over to the skeleton
and click on the tickeyt next to old bones. Then, click on the fake stone wall
to pop it open, revealing a button. Push that to start the zoo up. The go to
the statue thats on fire and put the ticket in. Enter the zoo.
First, go into the Siamese Alligator room and tickle the left head and grab
the magnet it's blocking. Next, go into the gigantic Spider room and feed it
the roach you've been carrying around. It'll leave, revealing rope. Combined
the rope and magnet and go into the Giant Octopus room. Use the rope and magnet
to grab the key inside the tank. When you get it, leave and open up the locked
door (not gate) with it. Grab the Eat-Away can and pull the switch to open up
the final gate. Go into it. After the parents are taken away, use the Eat-Away
on the lock and go out into the stadium. After the video, go into the elevator
up to the final area. When you get to the top, you'll be greeted by Madison
Storm. After you stops talking, go over to the control panel and play an easy
memory game four times. After that, Madison will be sucked up, you'll escape
and you'll blow up the park.
These are all (I think all) of the things you can change Lizzy into in the
Library. Luke will say different things everytime.
Red, Green, Blue - This turns Lizzy into the girl Pumpkin at the Bat Barn.
Blue, Blue, Green - I don't really now what this is. Kind of looks like a bear.
Green, Green, Green - Whoa, it's the Demon from the Doom-Slide. Freaky.
Blue, Blue, Red - She's cross-dressing, it's Luke's best friend Clay. Weird.
Green, Blue, Green - The worm that she started as.
