~ WALKTHROUGH/FAQ ~
-------------------------------------

Version : 0.5
O-------------------------------------O
Welcome all again to another of my walkthroughs. This will be my third
that has been on GameFAQs, but I have made others (I was just to lazy to finish
them). I have been playing Maple Story for about a month now and I think I have
things down to the point that I know enough for me to write a good guide for
the game. The guide contains help on all 4 of the classes, weapons info,
monster stats, and other odd and in crap I can find to throw in here. Hope you
like the guide, now just read it.
[Version 0.7 - 12/13/04]
I finished the Bowman Section and up to the level 40 Monsters. The next
few sections (Magician, Equipment, rest of the Monster) should be in the next
update.
NOTE: There has been a change in my e-mail address. It has changed to the
current address: meoman@gmail.com. Any mail sent to my old address
(magic_mario@hotmail.com) will not be replyed to.
[Version 0.5 - 11/16/04]
I figured that even though the guide is only half done, that I would
submit it to GameFAQs and see if it gets put up. At the moment only two of the
Class sections are done (Warrior and Thief) and I did these two first because
I have more know-how with them then the other two. The first 10 levels of the
monster list is up, and the Warriors list of stuff they can create is up. I
should be putting in a code system in the next verion so you can find stuff a
lot easyer. Until next time.

Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the class that you start out as when you creat a new character in
Maple Story. Your beginner will start out on Maple Island at level 1 all ready
for you to level up. You don't keep this class for long (unless your just
creating a Beginner that doesn't class change) because you can pick a class
that you will stay in between level 8-10. Now is a very good time (if your new
to Maple Story) to learn how to jump, attack, just play this game without
having touble.
---------------.
Picking a Class \______________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you reach level 8 you can finally pick a class that suits you best.
Below is what stats you have to have in order to obtain that class, and a
reasonion behind picking each on.
WARRIOR
-------
Stats Needed: Level 10, 35 Strength
City Obtained: Perion, Shrine of Warriors
Pros: Best HP out of the classes, very high.
Good hitting Strength.
Good defense.
Nice skills.
Cons: Low MP.
Needs a lot of heal potions.
Harder to control monsters before getting Slash Blast.
MAGICIAN
--------
Stats Needed: Level 8, 20 Intelligence
City Obtained: Ellinia, Magic Library
Pros: Very high MP, best out of the 4 classes.
Very nice monster control, and hitting strength.
Class change before everyone else.
Cons: Low HP.
Needs a lot of heal and mana potions.
Runs out of MP quick.
Tons of them everywhere.
BOWMAN
------
Stats Needed: Level 10, 25 Dexterity
City Obtained: Henesys, Bowman Instructional School
Pros: Distance kills, can snipe enemies from far away.
Even HP and MP.
Nice Skills.
Cons: Needs to buy tons of arrows to get levels.
No shield.
THIEF
-----
Stats Needed: Level 10, 25 Dexterity
City Obtained: Kerning City, Thievies' Hideaway
Pros: Can snipe if they use Ninja Stars.
Can hide in the darkness to not take damage from enemies.
Almost like a Ninja, and Ninjas are pimp.
Cons: Take hits like a girl.
Low HP.
--------.
Training \_____________________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While your on Maple Island you might as well take advance of the monsters
and kill some. The point of Maple Island is to prepare you for the new island
and life in a class of your choice. You should just pick a spot and train there
until level 8-10 (depending on what class your going for). This shouldn't take
to long considering you level, so just get to the stats you need to get the
class you want and you should have no problem.
===============================================================================
Warrior Tree
===============================================================================
----------------.
Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After going to Perion and taking to Sitting Bull you will become a
Warrior. Warriors depend on the use of hand weapons like swords, or axes, and
become quite good with them as there levels rise. The Warrior has the higest
health out of all of the classes, and do some of the nicest damage too. After
becoming a Warrior you have 3 different paths that you can go to become more
of a fighter.
------------------.
Becoming a Warrior \___________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After getting to the 10th level travel to Perion by Taxi (because at level
10 you will never to Perion by walking) and go to the very top of the town. Go
in the portal and there will be a man sitting to the right. Talk to him and if
you are level 10 and have 35 Strength then he will ask you if you would like to
become a Warrior. Say yes and he will raise your max HP and give you one SP
(Skill Point) to spend. You will also get the Level 1 Skill Book call "The
Basics of a Warrior". Your finally a Warrior!
SKILL TREE
----------
-Improving HP Recovery - Master Level: 16
With this, you'll recover even more HP every 10 sec. while standing still.
-Improving Max HP Increase - Master Level: 10
While having a level up, if AP is used on Max HP, it raises the level of
increase for Max HP.
-Endure - Master Level: 8
Even when hanging from on the rope or on a ladder, you'll be able to recover
some HP after a certain amount of time.
-Iron Body - Master Level: 20
Temporarily increases your weapon defense.
-Power Strike - Master Level: 20
Use MP to deliver a killer blow to the monsters with a sword.
-Slash Blast - Master Level: 20
Use HP and MP to attack every enemy around you with a sword.
SUGGESTED PATH
--------------
(in order)
5 into Improving HP Recovery
10 into Improving Max HP Increase (MAX)
10 into Power Strike
10 into Slash Blast
*wait 3 levels*
10 into Slash Blast (MAX)
10 into Power Strike (MAX)
3 into Endure
3 into Improving HP Recovery
Total Skill Points Given: 61 (1 at Class Change, and 60 through the 20 levels
to level 30)
Total Skill Points Spent: 61
Remember to keep INT and LUK both at 4 and don't raise them ANY! Don't
spend and points on HP or MP either because its a waste.
--------.
Training \_____________________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Levels 10-20: I would say that the Slime Tree would be your best bet for
training because there easy to kill and the respawn rate is just
great.
Levels 20-25: Now that you have better armor, Pigs and Ribbon Pigs shouldn't be
doning a lot of damage now, so head over to Pig Beach and kill
some.
Levels 25-30: Time to kill you some Horny Mushrooms (oh stop it). Go to the
Horny Mushroom tree and get some levels.
----------------.
Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taking the path of the Fighter means that you will use little or no Magic
in the rest of your time as a Fighter. As you move down the path of the Fighter
you can pick either a sword or axe and become quite effecent with either on due
to the two Mastery skills. Fighter deal more with direct damage than the use of
magic and other kinds of spellcraft.
------------------.
Becoming a Fighter \___________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After reaching level 30 go back to Sitting Bull in Perion (this time you
should be able to walk there without any trouble). Talk to him and he will say
that you have gotten stronger and that if you pass his test he will advance you
in class. Yes, is the answer he's looking for, and he will give you a letter to
take to the Job Advancement Instructor. Go two screens West of Perion the go
into the portal at the top of the screen. Go through a couple more screens and
after you get to West Rocky Mountain you will find the instructor at the top of
the screen. One you give the letter to the instructor he will take you inside
and tell you that you need to collect 30 Dark Crystals by killing the monsters.
Be sure to stock up on Potions before-hand because there is no way to get them
after you start to collect the Dark Crystals. Kill enough monsters so you get
30 Dark Crystals and then talk to instructor to get the Proof of a Hero. Take
that back to Sitting Bull to be able to become a Fighter.
SKILL TREE
----------
-Sword Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the sword mastery and accuracy. It only applies when either a
one-handed or a two-handed sword is in hand.
-Axe Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the axe mastery and accuracy. It only applies when either a
one-handed or a two-handed axe is in hand.
-Final Attack: Sword - Master Level: 30
With a certain success rate, another attack follows after performing an
attacking skill. Only works with a one-handed or a two-handed sword in hand.
-Final Attack: Axe - Master Level: 30
With a certain success rate, another attack follows after performing an
attacking skill. Only works with a one-handed or a two-handed axe in hand.
-Sword Booster - Master Level: 20
Uses HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the equipped
sword. It only applies when either a one-handed or a two-handed sword is in
hand.
-Axe Booster - Master Level: 20
Uses HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the equipped axe.
It only applies when either a one-handed or a two-handed axe is in hand.
-Fury - Master Level: 20
Temporarily boosts the weapon attack level of everyone in the party around the
area, but also decreases the level of weapon attack defense.
-Power Guard - Master Level: 20
Returns a portion of the damage received from the enemy. Can't return more than
10% of the enemy's Max HP at once, however.
SUGGESTED PATH
--------------
(in order)
20 into Sword Mastery (MAX)
30 into Final Attack: Sword (MAX)
(in any order)
20 into Sword Booster (MAX)
20 into Fury (MAX)
20 into Power Guard (MAX)
1 into Endure
Now if you dont wont to put the full 20 into Fury (like so many of you
hate to even get up) put some points into Endure instead. That or Improving
HP Recovery to max it out. You could put no points into Fury and put 10 into
Iron Body then max Endure (not a bad idea) then put 3 more into Improving HP
Recovery.
Total Skill Points Given: 121 (1 at Class Change, and 120 through the 40 levels
to level 70)
Total Skill Points Spent: 121
For each level after 30 you should put 4 into Strength and 1 into
Dexterity. You don't have to follow the "Keep your Dex twice your level" thing
anymore. This will keep you so you still hit enemys, and can wear your higher
level equipment but still leaving you with a high attack.
----------------.
Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By picking to become a Page you have decided to stray off of the path of
direct damage and go more of the magical side of fighting. Page's can either
pick to use a Sword or a Mace (you can pick a Mastry for either) for there time
fighting, and also start to get more magical with the attack Threaten.
---------------.
Becoming a Page \______________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
See "Becoming a Fighter" in the Fighter's Path section above.
SKILL TREE
----------
-Sword Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the sword mastery and accuracy. It only applies when either a
one-handed or a two-handed sword is in hand.
-Mace Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the blunt mastery and accuracy. It only applies when either a
one-handed or a two-handed blunt is in hand.
-Final Attack: Sword - Master Level: 30
With a certain success rate, another attack follows after performing an
attacking skill. Only works with a one-handed or a two-handed sword in hand.
-Final Attack: Mace - Master Level: 30
With a certain success rate, another attack follows after performing an
attacking skill. Only works with a one-handed or two-handed blunt in hand.
-Sword Booster - Master Level: 20
Uses HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the equipped
sword. It only applies when either a one-handed or a two-handed sword is in
hand.
-Mace Booster - Master Level: 20
Use HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the equipped blunt
weapon. It only applies when either a one-handed or a two-handed blunt weapon
is in hand.
-Threaten - Master Level: 20
Use MP to temporarily theaten an enemy. Decreases the level of weapon attack
and weapon defense of every enemy around the area.
-Power Guard - Master Level: 30
Returns a portion of the damage received from the enemy. Can't return more than
10% of the enemy's Max HP at once, however.
SUGGESTED PATH
--------------
(in order)
20 into Sword Mastery (MAX)
30 into Final Attack: Sword (MAX)
(in any order)
20 into Sword Booster (MAX)
20 into Threaten (MAX)
20 into Power Guard
1 into Endure
Remember that you can put points into skills from the first book of skills
so if you don't wont to get the skills suggested here then feel free to put
some more points into Endure, Iron Body, or Improving HP Recovery.
Total Skill Points Given: 121 (1 at Class Change, and 120 through the 40 levels
to level 70)
Total Skill Points Spent: 121
For each level after 30 you should put 4 into Strength and 1 into
Dexterity. You don't have to follow the "Keep your Dex twice your level" thing
anymore. This will keep you so you still hit enemys, and can wear your higher
level equipment but still leaving you with a high attack.
----------------.
Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spears and Pole Arms are the most powerful kind of weapons there are in
the game and Spearmen are the ones who get to use them. Spearmen relay (at the
moment) more or slow attacks and high defense than magic (like I said, at the
moment) because of Iron Wall and Hyper body. Becuase they attack slower it's
going to take longer to level as a Spearman. Later class advancements will
give you the obtion to use more magic as a Dragon Knight.
-------------------.
Becoming a Spearman \__________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
See "Becoming a Fighter" in the Fighter's Path section above.
SKILL TREE
----------
-Spear Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the spear mastery and accuracy. It only applies when a spear is in
hand.
-PoleArm Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the pole arm mastery and accuracy. It only applies when a pole arm is
in hand.
-Final Attack: Spear - Master Level: 30
With a certain success rate, another attack follows after performing an
attacking skill. Only works with a spear in hand.
-Final Attack: PoleArm - Master Level: 30
With a certain success rate, another attack follows after performing an
attacking skill. Only works with a pole arm in hand.
-Spear Booster - Master Level: 20
Use HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the equipped
spear. It only applies when a spear is in hand.
-PoleArm Booster - Master Level: 20
Use HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the equipped pole
arm. It only applies when a poel arm is in hand.
-Iron Wall - Master Level: 20
Temporarily increases the level of weapon and magic defense on every member of
the party around the area.
-Hyper Body - Master Level: 30
Temporarily increases the Max HP and Max MP of all members of the party around
the area.
SUGGESTED PATH
--------------
(in order)
20 into Spear/PoleArm Mastery (pick on)
30 into Final Attack: Spear/PoleArm (pick the same one you picked above)
(in any order)
20 into Spear/PoleArm Booster (pick the same one you picked above)
20 into Iron Wall (a MUST)
21 into Hyper Body
The reason I put the extra point from the class change into Hyper Body is
because why hang from a rope and gain life when you will get more from Hyper
Body. I just think putting an extra point in Endure when your a Spearman is
pointless because you already have so much life that it wont matter if you hang
around from a rope or not. Just remember this is how I would do it but I do
suggest that you put NO points into Iron Body if your going to be a Spearman
because Iron Wall and Iron Bodys abilitys don't stack on each other, they
cancel each other out.

Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you tend to like to hunt from the back of the crowd and hit things with
such percision that you could hit a fly from 500 yards with a blindfold on then
you just might wont to become a Bowman. Now I don't know if you could hit a fly
fom 500 yards or anything but you will have a better chance of hitting things
than other classes because your main stat is dexterity. The Bowman gets skills
that will make him or her better and more deadly with a bow or crossbow. It
takes time to learn such skills, but you can handle it.
-----------------.
Becoming a Bowman \____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After reaching the 10th level you just might wont to become a Bowman. Get
your dexterity up to 25 and leave from Henesys. Walk though the park until you
get to a big house and enter. You will meet a woman named Helena and she will
help you become a Bowman. If you have the requirements met then you will become
a Bowman and you will get the skill book "The Basics of a Bowman".
-Amazon's Eye - Master Level: 8
Increases the range of attack for both bows and crossbows.
-Critical Shot - Master Level: 20
Allows you to perform a critical attack with a certain success rate.
-Focus - Master Level: 20
Focussing to temporarily increase accuracy and avoidability.
-Double Shot - Master Level: 20
Fires two arrows at once to attack an enemy twice.
-Arrow Blow - Master Level: 20
Fires an arrow with authority. Applies more damage than usual.
SUGGESTED PATH
--------------
(in order)
4 into Amazon's Bless
8 into Amazon's Eye (MAX)
20 into Critical Shot (MAX)
10 into Double Shot/Arrow Blow
*wait 3 levels*
10 into Double Shot/Arrow Blow (MAX)
9 into Amazon's Bless
-or-
9 into Focus
Picking between Double Shot and Arrow Blow really depends on what you are
going to be after you class change. If you are going to be a Hunter then take
Double Shot, but if you are going to be a Crossbow Man then take Arrow Blow.
After that you have 9 points left over and you can choose between Focus or more
points into Amazon's Bless. I would rather have Amazon's Bless but thats just
me.
Total Skill Points Given: 61 (1 at Class Change, and 60 through the 20 levels
to level 30)
Total Skill Points Spent: 61
----------------.
Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So you decided to keep to your Longbow and learn the more advanced ways of
the Hunter. As a Hunter you will strictly be using a Bow (Short or Longbow) and
you will get skills that work very nicly for bows. Arrow Bomb is a very nice
crowd control skill that hits 6 enemies for pretty nice damage. You can also
get a skill that makes it so you don't have to use arrows for a short amount of
time.
-----------------.
Becoming a Hunter \____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After getting to the 30th level you finally have the option to become a
Hunter. Go back to Henseys and talk to Helena again and she will tell you to
take the letter she gives you to the job advancement instructor and you can
take the job advancement test. Go three screens right of Henesys and at the
top-right of the screen you will see the job advancement instructor. She will
put you in a room with enemys and you are told to collect 30 Dark Crystals.
Once you kill enough monsters to get the 30 crystals talk to the instructor
again and she will give you the "Proof of a Hero" and will tell you to take
it to Helena. Once you do this it's time to become a Hunter.
SKILL TREE
----------
-Bow Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the bow mastery and accuracy. It only applies when a bow is in hand.
-Final Attack: Bow - Master Level: 30
With a certain success rate, another attack follows after performing an
attacking skill. Only works with a bow in hand.
-Bow Booster - Master Level: 20
Uses HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the bow. It only
works with a bow in hand.
-Power Knockback - Master Level: 20
Improves the success rate of knocking back the enemies far when swinging the
bow. The higher the level, the higher the number of enemies the character can
knock down.
-Soul Arrow: Bow - Master Level: 20
Temporarily allows the character to fire bow arrows without using up the
arrows. Only works with a bow in hand.
-Arrow Bomb - Master Level: 30
Fires arrows with bombs attached to it. If struck cleanly, the bomb explodes on
the enemy, knocking out some of the enemies around with a certain success rate.
Can't attack more than 6 at once, and it only works with a bow in hand.
SUGGESTED PATH
--------------
(in order)
1 into Arrow Bomb
20 into Bow Mastery (MAX)
10 into Bow Booster
30 into Final Attack: Bow (MAX)
10 into Soul Arrow
29 into Arrow Blow (MAX)

to level 70)
Total Skill Points Spent: 121

Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If your looking for more power then a Hunter but you attack slower. No
worrys because you will be doing to much damage to even care. You also get the
skill Soul Arrow which makes it so you waste no arrows, but you get a different
skill called Iron Arrow. This baby is fired and goes THROUGH 6 different
enemies. Don't worry about that lower attack speed, because you get to puncture
holes through enemies.
-----------------------.
Becoming a Crossbow Man \______________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
See "Becoming a Hunter" in the Hunter's Path section above.
SKILL TREE
----------
-Crossbow Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the crossbow mastery and accuracy. It only applies when a crossbow is
in hand.
-Final Attack: Crossbow - Master Level: 30
With a certain success rate, another attack foloows after performing an
attacking skill. Only works with a crossbow in hand.
-Crossbow Booster - Master Level: 20
Uses HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the crossbow. It
only works with a crossbow in hand.
-Power Knockback - Master Level: 20
Improves the success rate of knocking back the enemies far when swinging the
crossbow. The higher the level, the higher the number of enemies the character
can knock down.
-Soul Arrow: Crossbow - Master Level: 20
Temporarily allows the character to fire crossbow arrows without using up the
arrows. Only works with a crossbow in hand.
-Iron Arrow - Master Level: 30
The arrow tha's fired goes through the enemy and damages the ones behind it.
The damage decreases for evey enemy it goes through, and it can't damage more
than 6 at once. Only works with a crossbow in hand.
SUGGESTED PATH
--------------
(in order)
1 into Iron Arrow
20 into Crossbow Mastery (MAX)
10 into Crossbow Booster
30 into Final Attack: Crossbow (MAX)
10 into Soul Arrow: Crossbow

Thief Tree
===============================================================================
----------------.
Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After becoming an Thief by talking to Dark Road you will be put into the
world of the Theif. You will have two schools of specialization that you can go
into, and both are unique. You can either become more with the Assassin side
and learn to throw Ninja Stars like a pro, or you can become a Bandit and rob
people... well maybe not, but you can use a cool dagger and stab people... well
monsters at least.
----------------.
Becoming a Thief \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After reaching level 10 and obtaining a Dexterity of at least 25 you will
be able to become a Thief. After you have that stuff hop on the cab and head
over to Kerning City. Look for the Thieves' Hideaway at a Cafe in the basement
and you should find a guy named Dark Road. Take to him and if you meet the
requirements then you will become a Thief.
SKILL TREE
----------
-Nimble Body - Master Level: 20
Increases accuracy and avoidability.
-Keen Eyes - Master Level: 8
Increases the range of attack using throwing weapons such as throwing stars &
knives.
-Disorder - Master Level: 20
Temporarily decreases the morale of an opponent. Its weapon def. and attack
will suffer, and the attacking enemy will suddenly stop attacking. Can't
perform the attack on an enemy that's already in "disorder", however.
-Dark Sight - Master Level: 20
Use MP to hide behind the shadows. While hiding, the enemy won't attack, but
you can't attack back either. All movements other than attacking are available.
It's temporary, so after a while, you'll be back to normal.
-Double Stab - Master Level: 20
Use MP to quickly stab an enemy twice at once using a dagger.
-Lucky Seven - Master Level: 20
Use MP to throw 2 throwing stars and apply damage based on LUK, regardless of
the rate of javelin mastery.
SUGGESTED PATH FOR DAGGER THIEF
-------------------------------
(mostly in order, Nimble Body first at least)

Training \_____________________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Level 10-20: Slime Tree. Yeah, its going to get boring.
Level 21-30: Pig Beach, Dungeon, or the Horny Mushroom tree.
----------------.
Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you went the Shuriken Theif path then you will end up being an Assassin
after the class change. Assassins deal in useing there uber ninja stars and
flinging them at things. Why, you ask. Well its because they have so many
skills that boost there attack and damage rate with thown weapons. At the class
change you will notice that you get a very nice HP and MP bonus, which should
help you out in the long run.
--------------------.
Becoming an Assassin \_________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After you reach level 30 you will be able to pick your next class. Go back
and speak to Dark Road again and he will tell you that you have gotten a lot
stronger since the last time you two meet. He will give you a letter to take to
the Job Advancment Insturctor. He is located at the Construction Site North of
Kerning (its on the map) on top of the construction site. After speaking with
him, he will send you to your testing area where you must kill a gob of enemys
and collect 30 Dark Marbles. After killing enough monsters to get them all your
instructor will give you the "Proof of a Hero" which you should take to Dark
Road and progress in class.
SKILL TREE
----------
-Claw Mastery - Master Level: 20
Increases the mastery of throwing stars and accuracy, along with the maximum
number of throwing stars to recharge. It only applies when the character is
throwing stars.
-Critcal Throw - Master Level: 20
Enables the character to make a critical attack with throwing stars on a
certain success rate.
-Endure - Master Level: 20
Use HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the claw. It only
applies when the character is equipped with a claw throwing stars.
-Claw Booster - Master Level: 20
Use HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of the claw. It only
applies when the character is equipped with a claw throwing stars.
-Haste - Master Level: 20
Temporarily improves the speed and jumping ability of every member of the
party.
-Drain - Master Level: 30
Absorb some of the damage dished out to the enemy as HP. The most one can
absorb at once is the character's MaxHP / 2, and can't absorb more than the
MaxHP of the enemy.
SUGGESTED PATH
--------------
(in order)
5 into Claw Mastery
30 into Critical Throw (MAX)
20 into Haste (MAX)
20 into Claw Booster
15 into Claw Mastery
2 into Endure
29 into Drain
If you go this path then you will be one away from mastering Drain, but 29
points isn't that bad. Now you can always take one point away from something
else and put it in Drain but I just find it to be a waste.
Total Skill Points Given: 121 (1 at Class Change, and 120 through the 40 levels
to level 70)
Total Skill Points Spent: 121

Class Desription \_____________________________________________________________
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you went the Dagger Thief path then here you are trying to be a Bandit.
Bandits use dagger weapons and use attacks that you would expect a real thief
or bandit to know (like Steal). They also have moves that will enchance there
attack with a dagger weapon. Moves like Haste will makes sure that you hit your
enemies then run away like a girl (no I'm just kidding), while looking as cool
as you can.

applies when the character is equipped with a claw throwing stars.

-Haste - Master Level: 20
Temporarily improves the speed and jumping ability of every member of the
party.
-Steal - Master Level: 20
Enables the character to steal an item from an enemy with a certain success
rate. Only one clean steal per monster, but multiple attempts can take place in
the process.

20 into Dagger Mastery (MAX)
20 into Dagger Booster (MAX)
30 into Savage Blow: Dagger (MAX)
20 into Haste (MAX)

11 into Steal
I just don't find Steal usefull enough to max it. All of the other skills
are just more usefull then Steal but you can always take some points from
Endure and put into Steal.

-----------------------------[ 7. Special Thanks ]-----------------------------
===============================================================================
First I would like to thank all of the people on the GameFAQs Maple Story
Message Board for being nice to me when I was new to the game. The help they
provided for me there helped fuel me to do this guide because I also like
helping new people in the game.
I would also like to thank any random site that I got any info off of
because it saved me the time of spending hour of game time to find it all out.
Sorry I can't remember any of these site but when I did get info it was very
little and far and few in between. I did however get the skill names and such
off of the Maple Story main website (http://www.mapleglobal.com).
Thanks again all of you for helping me when I was new, and treating me
really nice. I am trying to do the same for all new people who come into the
game so keep it up.

If you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask because, hey, if I
have enough free time on my hands to write this guide, then I have more then
enough time to answer questions. Remember that magic_mario@hotmail.com is my
e-mail address and Lindu is my ingame name for Maple Story if you have a
question while I'm playing or need help with something.
Also if ANY of this info is wrong that I have or you have something I
don't, then just drop me a line and we will talk about fixing/putting it in my
guide. Remember to e-mail me if you spot a grammer messup to. If you do find
one (and there are many) tell me where its at and how to spell it. Thanks.
For all of you people who would like to host my guide on there site just
give me a e-mail with your request and your sites address (so I can check it
out) and I will get back to you in a day or two (probably in about 4 hours
mostly). Also people don't steal any part of these guide because I do have it
under a Copyright and I would hate to go into legal battles with you over
something stupid like this. Thanks all.
Copyright 2004, Magic Mario. All right resurved. I in no way, shape, or form

anything about the game. I own no rights to anything Maple Story. Ok?
