EXTRA CARS
To obtain more cars, destroy all of the aliens in the space invaders game before
it loads. Then go to the car selection screen. You will then be able to pick a
wider variety of cars to race with.
MIRROR TRACKS
You can operate this trick on all tracks. Just run into the wall which is behind
the starting line at a minimum of 100km/h. If you have done it right, the track
should now be completely mirrored. Make sure though that you don't go over the
overhead sign before turning around. If you do, the door will disappear and the
cheat wont be activated.
THE BLACK CAR
To get the black Diablo, you have to come first in every single track (
including the Time Trial), as well as the four backwards tracks. Upon reaching
the final Time Trial, you'll see a black Diablo in the race with you. It's
impossible to catch him, but upon the second lap he'll be parked. You must use
this to your advantage, and try to stay ahead. Stick to the correct racing line
without crashing at all, and he will not be able to pass you. After the three
laps, if you win, you will have the Diablo yourself.
FLAG TRICKS
This trick is for all of us who like stupid little gadgets to play around with.
At the start up screen where the checkered flag is waving, hold down your L2+R2
buttons. Now with the directional pad and other buttons, you can manipulate the
flag to rotate and zoom in or out as you please. You must continue to hold down
the L2+R2 buttons. You can even look at the flag from behind. That's all it
does, no special access to anything, just something diffrent for us to play
around with.
Another silly tip: Pressing L2+R2+start on the flag screen makes it go
transparent.
CARS/TRACKS TRICK
Another non cheat, but another pointless gadget to play with. On the car select
or track select screens, press the L1 or R1 Buttons to rotate the cars or the
tracks in the left or right direction, the longer pressed the faster they
spin!!.
