Crash Bandicoot 2, is a great game, even though, it may seem just boring,
and easy
because all you do is run through levels, and jump on boxes, but it's more
than that.
I have to get every single exra thing in the game, otherwise, I didn't beat
it. And
for those of you who have beaten it, and forgot about the Gems, too, you did
not
100 % complete, the entire game. Don't go getting mad though, cause in this
Guide
I will tell you where to get the Gems, and how to beat the bosses.
This is just a small review, to give you the basic features of the game.
Graphics: 8/10
The Graphics, are fairly good, and they are very real looking. Even though
they are
not in 3D, they are still great. The Gems and Crystials, are in 3D, and
they look
great.
Sound: 10/10
The sound for this game is great. I don't know what to say. Every this
sounds so
good. Nothing blured out, or unclear. It's amazing.
Gameplay: 9/10
The Gameplay is great. For those you who may think running up is boring,
don't even
bother reading this guide, or playing the game.
Overall: 8/10
The game is good, and you should beat it with in 5 days, if you play at my
pace.
This level is easy, but the Silver Gem, can get very hard. To get the
Silver
Gem, you must beat the level collecting all the boxes, and thats hard. The
hardest part is getting the boxes above the flamingos. Slide off them and
jump to them. You may have to do this a few times though.
Getting the Blue Gem, is easier. All you have to do, you go through the
level
without breaking a box. It may seem stupid, but thats what you gotta do.
This level is diffrent. To get the Clear Gem, break all the boxes, in this
level.
To get the outlined boxes, you must break a crate, then go back and break
them.
You can get a Red Gem, in this level, but, you can't get it now. You will
come back for it later, once you have access to Air Crash. Once you arrive
here using the secret passage, follow the path, to the Red Gem. Then go
back
to Warp Zone Two.
[Level 3: Hang Eight]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Items: Crystal, Silver Gem 2X
There are two Silver Gems, in this level, and no colored Gem. To get the
first Silver Gem, get all the boxes, in the level, and make sure you use the
!
boxes.
To get the second Silver Gem, hit one of the C Boxes(Checkpoint), and a
timer
will begin. You have to get to the end of the level, before it gets to
0:00.
You only have one chance to do this, unless, you go to the Warp Zone and
come
back in. So do it good.
Their is only one Gem, in this level, and to get it you have to break all
the
boxes. When you come to the fork, go down, the right, path, then circle
around, the left path, to end up going down, the right path, again.
To get the Clear Gem, just break all the boxes. Simple as that.
[Boss: Ripper Roo]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is just a basic idea, of how to beat him. For a better idea, read
my boss guide, which I will be finished with soon.
To beat Ripper Roo, let him knock himslef out then hit him.
WARP ZONE TWO
===================================================================================
Rember, about the Silver Gem, here, because you can't get it until you
have the Red Gem. Once, you have the Red Gem, break all the boxes, and
you will get the Silver Gem.
[Level 7: Air Crash]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Items: Crystal, Silver Gem 2X
This is a very important level. You have two Gems, to get, as well, as a
passage, to Snow Go, and then, you can get the secret passage, in Snow Biz.
To get the first Silver Gem, don't die, as you take the skull path, which
is the path with the skull on it.
To get the second Silver Gem, break all the boxes in the level, but you
can't do this until you have access to Bear Down, once you do, break all
the boxes, to get the Gem.
Now, the good part. Getting the secret passage to Snow Go. Once you
get the the first Checkpoint, before water, jump on the boxes, and land
on the right platform.
This is one of my favorite levels. To get the Silver Gem, break all
the boxes, in the level. This can get tricky, because the speed of the
bear, but, you should get the gem in two or three times, mabye more, if it
is troubling you.
To get the Silver Gem, break all the boxes, but you have to you the
platform after the fence, and go back and take the path you didn't
take before, to get the Silver Gem.
[Level 10:The Eel Deal]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Items: Crystal, Silver Gem, Green Gem
This level is easy, to get both Gems. To get the Silver Gem, break
all the boxes.
To get the Green Gem, go right at the fork, and when you enter it, you
should be saying Holy Crap! Make your way through the Nitro boxes, and
when you reach the end, jump through the wall. Don't worry, it's fake
so jump through it, and go straight, and get the Green Gem.
[Boss: Komodo Brothers]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To kill these guys, let them knock each other out, and when
they are blinking hit them. One will start throwing
swords at you, just in front of them. This boss is fairly easy.
WARP ZONE THREE
===================================================================================
To get the Silver Gem, break all the boxes, in the level. This isn't
hard.
Now, to get the Yellow Gem, this is another time test, which you should
have at least one Aku Aku mask. After you break the first checkpoint
box, a timer will start. Go to the end of the level before the timer
gets to 0:00. The same rules, apply to this one, as they did in Hang
Eight.
To obtain the first Silver Gem, break all the boxes, in the level.
At the fork, break the ! box, and go back around.
2nd Silver Gem by Curtis Armstrong Thanks
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
To get the second gem in Sewer or Later, come back with the yellow gem.
Go down the first hole in the ground and you'll end up on a gem path.
Like all other Gem paths, it is dangerous because the enemies are
stronger than normal, especially because you cannot touch the water
because the Eels are constantly shocking in it. Make it to the end and
snatch the gem.
This is another cool level. To get the Silver Gem, you have to break
all the boxes, which is kind of difficult in this level, but it's
possiable.
[Boss: Tiny]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To beat this boss, jump on the platforms, that are going to fall
and tiny will follow you, and he will fall.
WARP ZONE FOUR
===================================================================================
This level can be really hard. The first Silver Gem, you have to
break all the boxes.
To get the Purple Gem, go through the level, until you come to stairs
of Nitro boxes. Go up them, you won't die. Then you will be in a
bonus area, where you can get the Purple Gem, if you walk a little
bit.
[Boss: N.Gin]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This guy is pretty hard. Throw your Peaches at him by pressing the
Square button. Keep disabling his parts, until he is fully dead.
WARP ZONE FIVE
===================================================================================
In this level, you can kill two birds with one stone. Get the
two gems at once. First you have to take the skull, path, to
get one of the Silver Gems, then go back and take the other path
and break all the boxes, in the level, and you will be awarded
with the second Silver Gem. If you know what your doing, it is very
easy to get them both, other tan replaying the level over and over.
But, if you mess up, it can be very tricky.
[Level 22: Rock It]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Items: Crystal, Silver Gem
This level rocks. Your on a jetpack, and you fly through the level.
Allthough, this level can be hard, it's still really cool, and fun.
To get the Silver Gem, break all the boxes, which can be difficult
because you are not use to manufering, with the jetpack, so take
your time and don't rush it.
[Level 23: Night Flight]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Items: Crystal, Silver Gem 2X
This level sucks. To get the first Silver Gem, break all the boxes
in the level.
To get the first Silver Gem, break all the boxes, in the level.
Through the level, you should see a blue gem platform. Jump on it, and
it will take you to a passage. In that passage, you will find the
second Silver Gem.
